Fire Country The largest and the wealthiest of the Five Great Shinobi Nations. The terrain is mostly plains, with few mountains and rivers, but many forests. The country's soft climate is the main reason for its prosperity, as harvests can be collected twice a year, and natural disasters are rare. The borders of the Country of Fire are guarded safe by a large army, and the many shinobi from Konohagakure no Sato, which is considered the strongest ninja village in the world. Water country The water country is home to the village of Kirigakure. It is a place of ports, and islands, making the primary focus of the shinobi the element of Suiton. Due it being composed of many islands the culture of the water country varies from place to place, making a diverse land with very little in the way of monotony. It's history is one of blood, having to endure many attacks and civil wars, but through it the people of the land remain strong and proud. it should be noted though that many missing ninja end up coming from Kirigakure, the reasons aren't really known, but the facts are all there. Wind Country Over ninety-five percent of this country is occupied by a huge desert. The human settlements are located around the rare oasises and on the border with the Forest Country. Somewhere deep in the desert Sunagakure no Sato is hidden. Populated by a hardy folk and good old fashioned sandstorms the wind country is not a place for tourists who don't wish for a tan. Formerly thought destroyed and abandoned, the village of Sunagakure has made a return within the eyes of the world, making the wind country important again. Lightning Country The Land of Lightning and is one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations that contains the hidden village of Kumogakure. It is composed of numerous mountain ranges. It is located on a high mountain, literally hidden in the clouds. The leader of the village is known as the Raikage. Located in the northeast, the Country of Lightning is mostly a mountainous area; it shares one border with an unknown country, while the rest of the country is marked by a long coast line. It is one of the Five Great Countries, and in the central-west side of the country lies one of the more powerful ninja villages, the Village Hidden in the Clouds, itself situated in the mountains among the clouds. Frost Country Located in a large island to the north of the neighboring isles of Kirigakure. The frost country is a land that was once ravaged by industrial development until recent events transformed into a location that is both at one at nature and more diverse for the way of the shinobi to be reborn. As its name implies it is a land that is commonly bombarded by a torrent of snow that drives most of its normal civilians indoors. It can also be said that once every blue moon, the land is graced with the beauty of the dancing Aurora Borealis. The Outlands These countries are too small to be considered one of the 5 great countries and have either poverty, criminal or just military issues. These countries depend on outsiders for protection, a source of income or just as a set base for their operations. These countries live outside the rules of the great 5, but function with a Lords or Mayors as primary Law Enforcers, which makes it usually friend places for Missing-nin to convene without the hassle of hunt.
