This is a very notable and strict feature of NRC. To learn certain jutsu, you must have the elemental nature for it. Once you pick the element you want to learn then it can't be changed anymore unless through permission by one of the Administrators.
E through B rank = 1 element
A rank = 2 elements
SS rank = 3 elements
For people with a bloodline that grants you an additional element by combining two existing ones, you get that element from the start, but it predefines the elements you can have. For example, a Hyouton starts with Ice, but they must add the ones that make up Ice, which is Water and Wind, later. This means, at A rank you get either Water or Wind. Â At SS rank, you get an additional Element.
The five basic chakra elements have a system of superiority and inferiority. Superior elements easily overpower those inferior to them, while inferior are easily overpowered by superior ones. This may also have other effects. Below is a list of elemental relations:
Fire is weak against Water and strong against Wind. Water jutsu easily beat Fire jutsu
Water is weak against Earth and strong against Fire. Earth jutsu easily surpass Water jutsu
Earth is weak against Lightning and strong against Water. Lightning jutsu easily beat Earth jutsu
Lightning is weak against Wind and strong against Earth. Wind jutsu easily cancel Lightning jutsu
Wind is weak against Fire and strong against Lightning. Fire jutsu are boosted in power by Wind jutsu
As you can see, it makes a full circle. Now, what about elements formed by combining two existing ones by using a bloodline limit? Their elemental strengths and weaknesses are the sum of the two elements that make them. For example:
Ice element is made using Wind and Water. Wind is weak against Fire and strong against Lightning, Water is weak against Earth and strong against Fire. This means Ice is very strong against Lightning (as per Wind's strength), weak against Earth (as per Water's weakness) and has average effect again Fire (as per combining the weakness of Wind and strength of Water). However, it is also stronger than normal against Water and Wind, because both Water and Wind elements are of equal nature, but their power is combined in Ice.
Wood element is made using Earth and Water. Earth is weak against Lightning and strong against Water, Water is weak against Earth and strong against Fire. This means Wood is very strong against Water and Fire (as per Earth's and Water's strengths) and weak against Lightning and Earth (as per Earth's and Water's weakness). It is slightly stronger than normal against Wind, because both Water and Earth elements are of equal nature with Wind, but their power is combined in Wood.
Note: After a RPC has been created, the user can change the element of said created RPC if and only if:
The RPC has no elemental jutsu
The RPC is below C-Rank
The exception to the C-Ranked rule is that if an RPC was created at C-Rank, then the cut off rank to change the element is B-Rank but the first rule still applies.
Combination Elements
There are certain rules to Combination elements now, in regards to all combination Elements.
Must have all elements to learn the combination element.
What this means, is that you must have, all elements of a certain combination element to learn the element.
Can not learn combination element till A rank.
This means that, you must be at least A rank any title, to get a combination element.
Combination elements do not take up S.A slots, instead combo element slot
When becoming A rank, users automatically get a Combination Elemental slot. What this means is instead of using a Special ability slot, they are now entitled to have a combination element provided they use the proper methods.
Combination elements have to be applied in Character plots like Kinjutsu and S.A's
This means that all Combination element requests, must be asked for in character plots. Combination elements take a Administrative approval.
Can only have one combination element
This basically means, that you may not have more than one combination element. Such as having both Mokuton and Youton is a big no no.
Special Elements
Special Elements such as Light and Dark, that are not combination elements, still require a combination element slot, However you do not need other elements in order to obtain a special element. Also due to them using a Combo element slot Special elements are taken in place of a combination element.
Note: This does not apply to Bloodlines with Combination elements as they have their own element based solely around the bloodline, and will start out with the element, no permission required on any basis.
Note: Regardless of Rank, you may only have One of the following. Combination Element->Triad Element-> Special Element. This means that if you are E rank you can still get a special element. However if you are SS rank and you have any of these listed, then you may not get another regardless of circumstantial ranks. In addition, anyone who is not a Ninjutsu specialist, may not learn Any of the above listed till B rank or higher.
Note2.1: In addition, if a person reaches SS rank, they are able to switch from Dual Combination, or Special to a Triad, elemental composition. However this can only be done once, is administrative approval is needed.

(1Multiple Accounts - [list]Due to the nature of NRC and it's delicately balanced RPG system, having more than one account at any time is not permitted. If there are multiple people in a household using NRC, each person is permitted one account. In the case of multiple accounts per household (operated by different people) you must PM any, or all, of the Admins alerting them of the multiple peoples in the household, to avoid making invalid bans. Below are the consequences for creating multiple accounts:[/list:u]
[list]1st Offense: All account are banned permanently, excluding the original account. (ex. If you have 3 accounts ,one was created on January 23rd of the current year, the other July 23rd of the same year, and December 23rd of the same year, then the ones created on July 23rd and December 23rd will be banned, and the oldest account being the January 23rd account, will remain unbanned.)
2nd Offense (aka: You do it again, even after all but the original account are banned): All accounts are banned permanently, the original account is only banned for 1 week per account created after the first account (ex. You had three accounts, you are banned for 2 weeks. You had 5 accounts, you are banned for 4 weeks. Etc.).
3rd Offense(aka: You do it again, even after you've been banned for a period of time): All accounts are banned permanently.[/list:u]

* By Piracy we mean
Illegal copying of a product such as software or music.
The unauthorized duplication and/or use and distribution of a software program, including Music, Programs,Movies etc.
This also includes copying post from one forum to another with out the consent of the original author.
** By Legal we mean:
The selling of any material including drugs, guns , knives and any other product under the current law which is illegal.
Also the showing and allowing the showing of any material which is against the law and also against the MyFreeForum Terms And Conditions, this would include pornography in any shape or form.
Further Rules:
(1) Gold Members cannot start topics in the staff room, they may however post in subjects if they have a valid point.
(2) RPG mods cannot counter a claim an Admin has claimed. They may however, counter with a Owner to have the owner bypass their claim.
(3) Staff may not edit their own Applications, even at Admin level. You can however, edit someone else's application if you let an Admin know.
No super stats gained from them, such as 4000% anything because you have the element (an exaggeration, but hopefully you get the point).
No super shanking abilities, like appearing from a building's shadow, stab, and then disappear just as quickly, and especially in the span of one post. In the case of blood no abilities/jutsu/ect that just rip all the blood out of someone in one go. Make them bleed like in Bleach.
Darkness is weak to light, but also fire.
Light is weak to darkness, but also to wind.
Blood is weak to earth and fire, but strong against water and lightning.
The owners still get a say in who gets them when people request them, including when someone makes a custom clan, special ability, combat style, pet, etc utilizing said elements.
Blood: without a clan behind the abilities/access, RPCs will need at least a point in Ijutsu to gain Blood Release

Updated the element list/links. Added Sunaton (and some other elements/moving combos to their proper places) to special as its official and NOT a combo. Until that decision is changed.
