Name: Tetsu Senjutsu - Iron Sage Arts
Requirements: Interest or Skill in Smithing, Fire Element, Ninjutsu, D-Rank, Trained as a 3-Point Kinjutsu Including Study of Metals and Ores, My Permission
Description:The one whom possesses this ability can give any metal the consistency of clay as well as turn it back. And the user can use metals in special jutsu as well. Using chakra the user can also change the types of metals into other metals as well. This is a relatively cheap ability to perform. The weakness is that the heavier the metal and amount of metal being worked with increase the amount of concentration. The limits to this is how one can use the metals and their creativity. For every being worked with the amount of concentration increases. If however they are also focus on other things this becomes more difficult dropping the number of transformed metals by 1. This ability doesn't change the overall mass so items tend to shrink ETC if turned into a more dense metal. Though one may choose to leave the volume at it's current level though this effects the metal.
D-Rank: 1 Metal
C-Rank: 2 Metals
B-Rank: 3 Metals
A-Rank: 4 Metals
S-Rank: No Limit On Metals
SS-Rank: No Limit On Metals/Chakra Cost Down By -1 Rank
This is a skill commonly possessed by great sword smiths. But also those whom have the potential to be great metal workers. Among them being the great sages Masamune, Kotetsu and the Dark Sage Muramasa.

The differences are:
Makes the metal behave like clay
The metal is used for jutsu [I plan on making a steel clone ETC but not now]
Can change metal types
So your is more for making weapons mine is for metal working in general.
EDIT:Due to its clay form it's probably best for statues ETC. _________________ All forms of the canvas are pure beauty!

After having read it... I would say that it is 2 completely different things that only share the fact that they both use metal in some form or another. But the similarities are too vague for it to be a problem. So don't worry this doesn't infringe on your bloodline. _________________ All forms of the canvas are pure beauty!
Wait, wait. Using chakra to change the metal type? I don't think that's a fire-based ability, nor should it be limitless (considering you could take any weapon you have and suddenly change it to tungsten or diamond). _________________ 2 Ex. Rank Trains, 1 Auot Rank Up

Tungsten?
That part isn't fire-based. It's necessity for fire comes from its affinity for smiths. So that requirement is more... Spiritual. Thus is the reason I call it Iron Sage Arts.
It has to be another metal... Like Steel to Iron... I'll clear that up. _________________ All forms of the canvas are pure beauty!
*facepalms* Tungsten is a metal. In fact, one of the strongest. Roleplaying Characters: RPG Stats: Shinobi Rank: Village: Fame: Infamy: 0 Training Points: 4900 Inventory:
A steel-gray metal, tungsten is found in several ores, including wolframite and scheelite. It is remarkable for its robust physical properties, especially the fact that it has the highest melting point of all the non-alloyed metals and the second highest of all the elements after carbon. Also remarkable is its very high density of 19.3 times heavier than water, and 71% heavier than lead.[3] Tungsten is often brittle[4] and hard to work in its raw state; if pure, it can be cut with a hacksaw.[5]
The pure form is used mainly in electrical applications, but its many compounds and alloys have many applications, most notably in incandescent light bulb filaments, X-ray tubes (as both the filament and target), and superalloys.
Tungsten is the only metal from the third transition series that is known to occur in biomolecules, and is the heaviest element known to be used by living organisms.[6][7]
I guess it is good for making fire barriers... But due to its density it would be incredibly hard to work with no? Even if I made it into clay shaping it accurately would be tedious.
