Clan Description: The origins of this clan go far into the past, back to the days when humans have just discovered bronze working. A large society of people, one that was far more advanced than the average, gathered together and formed a village. These people were highly cultured and sought unity with the spirits of this world. They were also renowned for their exceptionally strong tools and weapons, which they crafted from iron, while the rest of the world still used bronze.
As time passed, this society grew and expanded its borders. Once the population reached the mark of ten thousand people, they finally decided it was time to give their city a name. The decision was to name it Soul Society, due to the fact that these people were close with both the spirits of the world and their ancestors. Soon after that, these people discovered steel, and were the first ones to do it.
By present time, the city of Soul Society reached the population of three hundred and fifty thousands. All its inhabitants refer to themselves as souls, seeing as material things wither with time. They take great pride in their art of sword craftsmanship. Over the years, they learned how to craft swords which would be possessed by spirits. These special swords, given only to the elite warriors, Shinigami, were called Zanpakuto. Each Zanpakuto has its own name, the name of the spirit inhabiting the blade.
The city is ruled by a counsel of forty six people, and mostly stays out of the surrounding world's affairs. However, the city still has two representatives in each shinobi village, whose job is to inform the Soul Society of any suspicious activity there. There are also those who act under secret orders of Soul Society, disturbing the peace of the shinobi.
Bloodline Description: Members of the bloodline specialize in sword combat and use of special ninjutsu. However, due to the uniqueness of each Zanpakuto, each Shinigami's style is also unique. Their special training and close bonds with spirits allow them to cheat death, increasing their life span to about five times a normal human's length.

Name: Hell Butterfly

Description: This summons a full black butterfly with a red circle on its wings and red antennas. This butterfly can fly over large distances to deliver messages. It can fly about as fast as bird, so it may take a few days to reach it's destination. Once it arrives it lands on the target and delivers it's message telepathically. It only knows what it's owner know or what its' alreadt traveled, as far as getting places goes. This takes a small amout of chakra and can disappear when around it's owner. If two shinigami with hell butterflys know each other they can use them like two way radios, receiving the messages mentally or broadcasted like a speaker. As you rank up you can create more at a time.

Description: A jutsu very similar to any shunshin, this technique allows the user to disappear in a blur and reappear elsewhere. The main difference is that Shinigami use this move to increase their traveling speed as well as dodge attacks.

Requirements: Zanpakuto, Knowing the name of one's Zanpakuto
Description: The initial release of a Zanpakuto. While in the un-released form, each Zanpakuto looks like a normal steel katana, with little differences in length or shape. However, when the initial form of the sword is released, it may change greatly, as far as not being a sword at all. The Shikai is unique to each Zanpakuto, but to perform it, one must know the name of his sword. This requires some power and knowledge of the spirits, but most Shinigami are able to do it.

Description: The complete release of one's Zanpakuto. In the state of Bankai, the difference between two Zanpakuto's becomes even greater, and most of them tend to lose the form of a blade. Before Bankai can be achieved, the wielder must achieve high level of strength and then beat his sword's spirit in a battle. Only the strongest of the Shinigami are able to use it.

Description: A special jutsu used to immobilize one's opponent. When used, it locks the enemy's arms behind their back and keeps them in that position. However, the effect can be broken by force, and the jutsu works better on lower ranked opponents.

Requirements: None
Description: This technique creates a lightning bolt that travels towards its target at an extreme speed. However, if it hits, instead of dealing direct damage, the lightning wraps around the victim at random and restrains their movement, hence the name Crawling Rope. This "lightning rope" is very hard to break out of with brute strength alone and is impossible to escape using Nawanuke because it constantly readjusts itself. The hold effect lasts for at least 1 post.

Description: After the user forms the hand signs, six bands of light appear around the target and close around it at a very high speed. If the jutsu hits, these bands lock around the person's waist, preventing them from changing their dislocation. This is a powerful ninjutsu, but can be escaped with high enough a reaction. The hold effect lasts for at least 3 posts.
Incantation: You who is crowned with the name of man, wearing the mask of blood and flesh, flying on 10'000 fluttering wings. With thunder's carriage and an empty spinning wheel, break the light into six pieces.
Name: Bakudou #99 - Kin
Type: Nin

Requirements: None
Description: The user must form several hand seals, after which a seal mark will appear on his palms. Then, if the user presses his either palm against the target's body, a bigger version of the seal will appear on the victim's body, and paralyze that part of his body. This jutsu can be used to limit enemy's movements, or kill an opponent, if applied directly over the heart area. The paralysis effect lasts for at least 5 posts, unless applied to heart area.

Description: An advanced technique of the Shinigami, this jutsu fires a bolt of lightning from the user's index finger. Its speed and destructive power are extreme, but it costs more chakra than the other two techniques.

Requirements: None
Description: A basic projectile attack of the Shinigami, this jutsu fires a red ball of chakra at average speed from the user's palm. The effective distance is up to twenty meters, but aiming it at that distance is more than just hard.
Incantation: Oh ruler, mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! Scorching heat and disorder, evolve the transposition of the southern sea barrier.
Name: Hadou #33 - Soukatsui

Description: An advanced version of the Red Missile jutsu. This techniques fires a blue fireball at high speed. The force behind this attack is about three times higher than Red Missile, and it can also burn your opponent.
Incantation: Oh ruler, mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! Truth and temperance, strike but slightly your claw upon this wall which feigns ignorance of sin!

Description: This is a fire based move. Upon completing the hand seals, the user will point his right palm towards the target. The target of the jutsu will be struck by flame and set on fire. This jutsu is almost instantaneous, and can only be avoided if the target moves very quickly at the very instant the technique is executed.

Description: An upgrade of the Blue Fire jutsu. This techniques fires two blue fireballs at very high speed. The force behind this attack is about three times higher than normal Blue Fire, and it can also seriously burn your opponent.
Incantation: You who is crowned with the name of man, wearing the mask of blood and flesh, flying on 10'000 fluttering wings. Carve a twin lotus on a wall of pale blue flames, and await the blazing fires to reach the distant heavens.
Name: Hadou #90 - Kurohitsugi

Requirements: None
Description: This jutsu summons a black coffin. The bottom of the cube will appear underneath the target, and the walls and the ceiling will appear about 20 feet away from them. The second instant after they appear, they fly at an extremely high speed to close around the target. If the victim is caught inside the coffin, after two seconds they will be pierced by countless black blades, which spring out of the walls and ceiling, inside of the structure. This technique can only be avoided by a ninja who is very quick on his feet. The walls and ceiling are solid, so if the victim crashes into them while trying to make his escape they will most likely get caught inside.

I still think a clan that revolves around "living" weapons is cool. I would have made an original one if I didn't know about Bleach (yeah, I'm lazy so I just copied stuff)
