Sarah looked hesitantly at the large academy building before her, memories of her past school days when she herself attended the school started to flood back to her in quick succession. The frustration of not being able to get the hang of any of the lessons, her utter lack of physical ability and painfully low standard skills with weapons. Yes, it was all just bad memories when she came of the place. And she wholeheartedly regretted having to enter it again, but her mission was to be completed, and that was that. Sarah ran a hand through her long hair, the soft pink strands falling between her fingers and ending suddenly and unexpectedly, like your foot falling through the air on the stairs, or the like that feeling when your stomach lurches as you are about to fall. "Well, no use standing out here, lets get this over with." _________________
Sarah turned the handle of the classroom door, the metal scraped against itself on the hinges, causing it to screech loudly as she pushed it open. Sarah could hear hushed talking from inside the room, and she opened the door, it quickly ended, causing an eerie silence that was only pierced by the scream of the hinges. She walked into the room, her eyes gazing up at the rows of students that sat behind the guests. There were about twenty small soon-to-be genin all looking down at her. Sarah gave the class a small smile and took her position behind the instructors desk at the front of the room. "Alright class, my name is Sarah, looks like I am going to be your teacher for the day." _________________
The students sat up in their desks, paired up in apparent random order, their many eyes watching Sarah's every move. She nervously looked back at them, her eyes flickering between each one individually, but not daring to stay on any singulr person for more then a minute. "Ok, I am here to teach you guys about genjutsu, so pay attention and we can get through the lesson as soon as possible." Sarah turned to the chalkboard behind her and started drawing on the board. When she stepped back a few second later, the board showed a drawing of the human chakra system.
"Genjutsu, also known as the illusionary arts, is a fighting style that uses chakra into interfere with the chakra flow of a target's brain, causing inducing various false manipulations of the senses." the children looked back at her blankly, they didn't seem to get a word she had just said. This is going to be a long day. _________________
Sarah let out a long sigh and moved towards the front of the class. She sat on the edge of the desk, folding her legs neatly and looking up at the Academy students. She was going to have to split it down into various pieces for them, it would be ewasier to perform a genjutsu on them to allow them to more easily understand the concept, but she was told that would not be allowed. She bit her lip thoughtfully as she tried to think of a way to do this. "When performing a genjtsu, you will use your chakra to change the flow of your targets, mainly the chakra flowing into their brain. that understood?" The kids nodded thoug nothing more, so far it was a good start. _________________
"Now, when this chakra is manipulated, you can cause them to see, hear, fell, smell, or taste, something that really ins't real. This is why it is illusionary. Sarah looked up at the close with a hopeful expression, the kids so far understood everything, but she genjutsu to be one of the fighting styles that many can not grasp. She could only pray that there wasn't one of those students in here. The kids looked back donw at her, some nodding, others with thoughtful expressions on their faces, but it didn't seem like anyone was really blown off the hinges by the lesson. That was good. _________________
As Sarah was about to continue with her lesson, a small girl raised her hand in the back of the class. "Yes? The girl looked around nervously for a moment before speaking, apparently rethinking wither or not to ask her question. "um... you said genjutsu changes the senses... can you have anyone see or hear whatever you want? Sarah smiled at the girl, feeling a bit of familiarity in the child. "Yes, different jutsu do various things, but you can have someone feel or see anything. A large demon, a giant fire ball, a random piece of paper, whatever is needed to get the job done." the girl nodded and then slumped back into her seat, her cheeks burning red from embarrassment as the class watched her. Sarah turned back to the chalk board, hiding a smile. _________________
Sarah peered up at the clock that hung at the front of the room, she was making good time, or wasting it well really. Her mission was almost up, and she was sure the kids wanted to get out of here as much as she did. She always hated this place, and she never thought for a minute that she was going to have to return later. But, life throws you some crazy things every one in awhile. She turned around, looking at the students and finding the majority of them nearly asleep, heads down on their desks and eyes half closed. "Any other questions?" _________________
The academy students glanced at Sarah when she asked for questions. The kids simply became more alert, knowing that when the question section came up, it meant they were close to the end of the lesson. Sarah waited patiently for any of the children to raise their hand, though it seemed they were just ready to go - Them and Sarah both. Sarah glanced back up at the clock, watching the second hand tick by, thirty long seconds went by before the small turn-stick reached the Twelve at the top. "All right, that sums everything up for today. Great work everyone, enjoy the rest of your day." Sarah was the first one out the door, speed walking through the halls and out the front doors in record time. She glanced back at the Academy, just glad she was out of there.
