The Three Senshi [Seven Swordsmen Gathering; Open]

Rin Shouten

Gently, small particles of snow faded within the visage of Kirigakure as a single entity walked down the main road branching through her beloved village. Much had changed about herself and about the village of Kirigakure. He stood solemnly now, more mature and finally with her eyes open to this world. Tsukihime remaining solemnly upon her back, the snow-white haired youth known as Rin Shouten leaned casually against an ancient structure branched off from the main route through the concourse of Kirigakure. The long snowy hair had been tied up into a ponytail that spanned down the nape of her neck and the back of her azure coat. Her body was petite and lithe and fger face was solemn as her eyes closed gently. The other two would soon be here, and then whenever Katsuga could, he would be here as well hopefully. There was much to discuss amongst them about the future course of Kirigakure and what needed to happen for this peace to continue. This would include what to do about Sunagakure and the Kazekage of course. If all four of them fought together and watched each other's backs, there was nothing they couldn't accomplish. Rin started humming a tune when she noticed another approach the sanctum, noticing it was likely Tsubame; though he seemed different now than when they last met together. Brushing strangs of her snow-hued hair back, she openned her irises. "Greetings, Tsubame Inuzuka."

"Greetings, Tsubame Inuzuka." Tsubame heard as he leapt down from the bgreat height he had been flying, walking forwards to join their leader, Rin Shouten at the sacred circle. Only two more were missing now, though Katsuga should be here soon. Sazaku had a long was tot raverse to reach Kirigakure, he was within Otogakure currently. Walking towards Rin and brushing a hand through his black tressed, he shook his head. "It's Tsubame Shiro now; I don't deserve to share that surname"

"Ahh, I apologize then." Rin said with a smile.

The figure of Sazaku Norimune appeared from the northern district of Kirigakure. He had somehow managed to evade pursuit forces from Otogakure and had finally made his way down here into Kirigakure; where his leader the winter wolf Rin Shouten awaited. As he rushed along rooftops, he gained a good glance over the city of kirigakure itself , then finally landed with a slight crackle in the earth's terra and walked forwards, towards rin and Tsubame. As he passed Tsubame, he recieved a high-five and folded his arms inwards with a slight smirk as he awaited the meeting to come to order. The Mizukage should appear soon, then the real meeting would get started. also, this meeting was open to other shinobi of Kirigakure is they wished to join the seven. Rin was still recruiting, we needed at-least three more. "Sup, Rin; Heya Tsubame. Sorry I'm late. I had to ditch some pursuit forces."

OOC: Ok, joining this now, for now.

IC: Katsuga enters from the eastern side, maybe with Yoko, maybe not, then sees Rin Shouton, of the Hyouton Clan, and Tsubame Raptor, of the Raptor Clan. When he sees someone from Otogakure no Sato, though, he immediately shoots him an eerly look, but doesn't do anything else, as he doesn't know who he is, nor what he's capable of, but can feel a strong presense from within him, then turns his attention to Rin and Tsubame. Crossing his arms over his chest, he keeps an eye on Oto Shinobi very carefully, while looking at Rin and Tsubame, wanting answers from both of them, while also wanting answers from the Oto Shinobi. He knows that he shouldn't activate his Sharingan Eyes just yet, unless he feels that he absolutely has to, and hopes that it doesn't come to that, as he doesn't want just anyone to know that he's an Uchiha with the Sharingan Eye at Level Three.

Why is there an Oto Shinobi in my Village, and why wasn't I told that he was coming? Technically, this could count as treason against Kirigakure, unless I can be convinced that he's no threat to me, my Village, or my people. I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude, and ask for forgiveness, but I'm very-much on edge right now. I've just received word from a former Sannin from Konohagakure, one Orochimaru, and he's wanting all Shinobi who are Jounin and up must go to the Village of Otogakure, or our Village will be destroyed. However, at the same time, we're going to go to war with Sunagakure, but something tells me that he, along with the other Kages, got the same message. I don't know what's being planned, but we're going to have to make this meeting as quick as possible, train ourselves as much as we can, without killing ourselves, to get ready for what's about to come for us. If we're not prepared properly, we'll surely be slaughtered right on the spot. I don't know how powerful this "Orochimaru" is exactly, but I've heard, and read, stories about his strength, and he's most definitely a foe to look out for.

The weary man followed closely behind the shadow of the mist ninja. His clothing was still battered and torn up. Whatever was left of what appeared to be a black cloak was wrapped around his bare chest, held tightly in place with a rope he managed to find earlier. The dark black pants surrounding his legs were riddled with rips and cuts. "Damn!" he yelled out of the silence. Holding his leg up, the rogue ninja picked a stone out of his bare foot. His wooden sandals had disappeared without a trace after the crash, and his straw hat was missing as well. This gave the monk an odd appearance, as if he were some lofty beggar.

Eventually, he and the Mizukage came upon a trio of ninja. Members of the group Katsuga had mentioned earlier? Perhaps. Yoko simply stood back and watched, not wanting to speak just yet. There wasn't a reason to. He listened to the Kage's speech, noting one particular old name. Orochimaru? I thought he was dead. the monk thought to himself. Although he knew the man to be powerful, the tale of his demise may have not been completely true.

Sazaku slightly leaned against the edge of the stone ediface while his right hand jerked upwards and caressed the white tresses of filament from aside his right eye with a frown. Brushing the treeses aside, he revealed the crimson mark upon his forehead haphazzardly and leaned forwards ever so slightly and glancing directly towards the Mizukage who had directed the stinging glare and the obtrusive comments towards him. Sazaku was assuredly offended by this; he had risked his life remianing in Otogakure. His penance was twofold the punishment it seemed, from Otogakure and from Kirigakure as well. When his lips parted and he spoke to the Mizukage, a smile formed over his course lips. "The name is Sazaku Norimune, I'm a joinin from Orogakure as you may have easily guessed, however not of choice of my own. I re-entered service underneath the Otokage in order to provide vital intelligence and knowledge of my leader, Rin. I have no love lost for Otogakure, so if you're going to judge me by my headband, I say we duke it out right now, Mizukage. It's not that easy to piss me off, but you've seen to have done it in the first minute of our meeting..."

Tsubame lightly shook his head as sazaku made a motion forwards and threatened the Mizukage forwards. Tsubame stepped forwards, hsi right arm spread forth as his right hand brushed along his brow, pressing the strands of hair from his face and glancing to the Mizukage with a concerned glance, however it was Rin Shouten; their leader who would step forwards. "Sazaku is one of us, he's not an enemy, Mizukage-sama. He's brought us some valuable intelligence and he is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. If you wish to make an enemy of him, then it is your own Folly and I won't step in to save you."

Katsuga stands there, crossing his arms in front of him, looking at the Otogakure Jounin, and was going to say something about his smark remark to him, but upon hearing that he's providing vital intelligence, and seeing Tsubame walking in between them, he lowers his voice, but not his guard, taking a deep sigh of relief, for he felt that he was going to have to fight, but is happy that it's not going to come to that, especially hearing that he won't have any help, and that he's actually a force to be reckoned with, which tells him that he's pretty powerful, perhaps probably more powerful than he is if Tsubame speaks in such confidence, which means that he will be a valuable asset to his Village, then nods his head to the both of them, looking towards Sazaku, bowing some.

Please forgive my actions and words, Sazaku-san. It's just that lately things have been getting hectic, with the soon-to-be-at-war with Sunagakure no Sato, and now this... *comes up* If you wish to partake in this, and the others agree with it, then I shall go along with it as well. Anyway this is Mai, Yoko, and he's a Jounin as well, however, he's not from the Village either, but he's going to help us as well, and would wish to join with the "Seven Swordsmen". However, because of the journey that he's went through, he'll need to rest before he can really do anything right now, if that's alright with you, Rin-san? Also, he's wishing to join my Village, which I don't see a problem with, but he'll need to do something in order to prove his worthiness to do so. Anyone see any objections to that?

Ooh, touchy subject. the missing nin thought to himself. Perhaps it would be a wise choice to keep his old intentions of joining the Hidden Sound Village a secret from the Mizukage. Seemed like the mist was dead set on warring with the sand and sound villages. Hopefully Yoko would not find himself facing down Zieg on the battlefield. A fight like that would be much too punishing. The two were close, though. Well, as close as two old ninja friends from different warring nations could get. Although if the monk were ordered to fight, he may just have to.

The tired man shook a bit at the sudden mentioning of his name, not fully paying attention while lost in his own thoughts. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Pounding on his chest a bit (terrible idea in hindsight, smacking a bruised area) Yoko began coughing in an attempt to clear his throat. Ignoring the blood that he had just coughed up onto his hands, he hoarsely spoke out. "Mai, Yoko." Struggling a bit, he bowed his head down to the three shinobi before him. A bit frightened, Yoko pondered on whether the blood was from his injuries, or his strange illness. The Mizukage was right, though. Yoko would need a few days, maybe even weeks of rest before he could do anything.

OOC: DAMN YOU, RIN!!!! I'm going to have to leave THIS one now, and protect my Village! Rin's RPC's can go with me, if they want, and Yoko, it would be wise that you didn't join up with me, as you need to rest. I know I'm going passed the "Posting Rules", but this is a State of Emergency here!

IC: Katsuga was going to start talking again, when he looks in the distance in his Village, and sees fires and smoke starting to cover his Village from all around, and looks at it in horror, not knowing who the enemy is, nor how they even got into his Village without alerting the Guardsmen, or any of his other Shinobi. Forcing back as much anger as he possibly can, as well as tears, as he hears the sounds of his fellow Shinobi and people crying for help, and yelling in pain, he feels that he must abort the meeting right now, and protect his Village as much as he possibly can. Looking back at the other Shinobi who stand around him, he has an extremely stern look on his face, then shakes his head slightly, and starts to walk off towards where the attacks are coming from, actually hoping that the enemy isn't too powerful so that there won't be as many casualties, but he would like a good battle, as he hasn't had one since he fought Ozanaru, Syra.

Please forgive me, Rin-san. I must protect my Village. You guys may join if you'd like to, except for you Yoko. Go find a safe spot, away from the Village, and get some rest. If worse comes to worse, I'll send for you. Fare thee well. If I do not live out of this, know that there's a message in my "secret place" about who will be named as the next Mizukage. But, let's hope that it doesn't come to that...

From that, Katsuga uses a half-Ram Handsign, channels just enough of his Chakra into the area around him, then uses the Mist to "disappear", heading towards where the fires are coming from, ready for battle, even though he's in his traditional Kage robes, but he's ready to strip it down to his Battle Uniform when he gets to where he needs to be at.

"I'll get right on it." Yoko spoke to the Mizukage before he disappeared. Resting was something he desperately needed, as he started walking away from the other three without so much as a goodbye. He wandered for a while on who it was exactly that attacked the village. Sound, Sand, some unknown third party? But it was not the missing-nin's concern for right now. After a short while of walking, the injured man found a small cave while scouting along the coastline near the ocean. It was a bit of a tight squeeze to get into the cavern, but once inside the rogue ninja found a wonderous resting place.

There were signs of life here, however. Whether someone was currently living there, or lived there in the past, they left behind some nice luxuries for the weary man. A small bed made of hay, a few buckets of fresh water, some candles, and fish as well. Leaning his clan's ancient treasure against the cave wall, Yoko decided to start resting immediately; laying down on the bed of hay and quickly falling asleep. He stirred back and forth in his dreams for many hours. A terrible nightmare, perhaps. Maybe a terrifying vision of the future. The Mai Clan often believed that dreams were more than illusions.

On the other end of the beach lay an old man donning gray, torn up rags, resting his bones with a large net of fish at his side. He pulled himself up with all his might and began heading in the direction of Yoko's location; in the cave. He began skipping now, odd for one his age, and started whistling a frightfully familiar tune on his way across the sand.
