Requirements: Practice with enduring pain and stress both mentally and physically; Trained by Syra Ozanaru or other practitioner.
Description: Shinobi may fight for their entire lives but few have to endure pain by their own will. Those who have fought in both pain, fatigue and pure exhaust have learned a special technique called, " The Black Edge Balance". This is an enhanced ability of focus and meditation coupled with the heightened endurance from years of pain tolerance.
The execution is simple. Once the warrior has exhausted their stamina and mental strength completely, they can switch to a state that allows them to continue fighting. This is considered to be the "Edge", where the user must "balance" their mind. While in this state, they are in perfect form and their taijutsu and jutsu execution is flawless to the maximum of their abilities. However, they must be able to focus completely on maintaining the technique. If they are unable to do so, they will lose all of their energy and will become weak until they rest. This only affects their physical being; chakra reserves and control are as they were before the technique, although if you do lose "balance" you would lose a portion of your chakra reserves as well; around a quarter to half.
There are four ways to lose "balance". The main way is by becoming emotional; emotions will disrupt the pure focus. The stronger the emotion, the more difficult it is to maintain the technique without it failing. The secondary loss is from genjutsu. If the Ghana Jitsu in any way is designed to break focus or confuse, the person will lose "balance". The third is the most simple- time eventually erodes control. This means the power will only last up to 5 posts. The final way is simple - any powerful attack or anything else in their surroundings that distracts them will force them to lose focus.
This technique can only be used once before needing rest. Rest required is 5 non-battle posts and one full OOC day between usage. _________________ 2 Ex. Rank Trains, 1 Auot Rank Up
No, this does not affect chakra, just stamina. But essentially yes, your stamina (as in ability to continue to fight) will be at your highest level until you die off unless you've lost balance.
