Appearance: Kurichi Onishima always wears a red scarf, and a small black cap with a skull and crossbones symbol on the front over his long black hair, which reaches down to his shoulders. His bangs cover up his light blue eyes, which when looked into, give the veiwer an impression that they are searching for something inside the veiwer's soul.
His face is moderatly good looking, but the scar on his slightly pointed jawline tends to make many people uncomfertable around him. His mouth is thin, and slightly pointed at the edges.
His clothes are always very simple, yet they look good on him; a black hoodie that is torn on the bottom, and torn-off sleeves. His pants are black as well, but have a more grey tinge to them.
He will normally wear steel toed boots when traveling on rough terrain, but is always seen barefoot otherwise.

Personality: Kurichi Onishima always flirts with the darker things in life, and is often seen as a melencholy, moody teenager. Beneath that Gothic shell, however, lies a heart of gold, and while he tends to be grim and make jokes with a Goth hinting, he knows that people should not be made to suffer like he has, and takes strides to ensure that they don't see the same things he has.
Around people, he tends to keep quiet about his feelings, believing that - mostly from his past- that no one really cares about his thoughts and ideas.

Background: Kurichi Onishima is a Goth, punk kid who tends to keep to himself most of the time. He has seen things that many would not want to see, and that affects his outlook on life and on other people. He has few friends in Konohakagure, for they are either dead or MIA. Kurichi Onishima was born to a wealthy merchant and his wife, and he lived a good life until he was around 6 years old, when his mother left the family. His father, crazed with depression, began to drink excessively, and around the time Kurichi was 7 years old, he gave his son the scar on his jawline. Kurichi, stunned by what his father had done, ran away afterwards, living on the streets, surviving by stealing food and money, until the people started to catch on to him, and he was forced to use Ninjutsu to continue to survive. Finally, when he was 11 years old, he was confronted by a teacher from the Konoha Ninja Academy, who had been surveying him for the last 4 years and thought he would make an excellent shinobi; and as it turns out, he was right. Kurichi made it in the entrance exams at the top of his class, and was given a mission that took him to Kirikagure to investigate strange resonence of energy. His 3 man team was sent to check it out, and upon arriving, Kurichi's teamates were killed by bandits weilding a hardened form of this energy.
The mission was deemed a somewhat success, for they found the source of the energy, but Kurichi swore to never again serve in a team.
A year later, the Chuunin Exams were held, and Kurichi passed among the top of the test scores in fighting skill, but failed in the written exam.
He continued to excell at all the assignements he was given, ranging from spying, espionage, and recon, but it was not till his coming of age at 14 years when his life changed forever.
A select few Chuunin were selected to escort an important artifact to Iwakagure, where Jounin would meet them on the outskirts of the country. Kurichi Onishima was the only genin assigned to this mission, along with 3 others, who were selected to go meet them.
They never made it to Iwakagure. Once again, a group of bandits appered and stole all the goods, including the artifact. Kurichi Onishima, injured, was forced to go back to konoha and report the mission as a failure. Kurichi then decided to dedicate his life to helping others avoid the things that have happened to him, and continues to this day. He currantly lives in Konohakagure, and is still called upon by the elders for missions.
