Radiant beauty. Those are the words that can be used to describe Minerva. The daughter of a Stormkin mother and Yuki father, the young woman was destined to be as pure and perfect as the fresh snow. While she does have a few odd features, she makes up for it with her gentle skin and even more gentle touch. Then again that touch is only gentle as long as she wants it to be. Her skin is like silk, smooth as a baby's would be. She tends to care a great deal about how she looks, though it cant be said that its how others do. Nice and tidy hair and clean skin is all she cares for.
Minerva has a fair skin tone, though her skin is never really warm. Which is why she spends much time in the sun. Her father was a very pale man, so she inherited a bit of that. Though she isnt as pale as that man was. She got the full brunt of her mom's skin, as her mother has almost the same tone as her. Its light in hue, though still has enough substance to be gentle on the eyes. It isnt in anyway brown, not even a light tan. Just....regular old skin. If that makes any sense. She stands at about 5 foot 8 inches, which is average for a girl her age. She is average weight, which means she is healthy. Minerva's figure isnt very...robust. Though she does have curves, they arent extremely prominent, so they dont get in the way of what she wears. Her most notable physical features, looking past the desirable, is her obvious thinness. She is very healthy and fit, like all kunoichi should be and are, and seems to be devilishly flexible. Though comparing her to the Mizunaka from Sunagakure would be an exaggeration. She has almost no skill in taijutsu, so her condition does her well. She seems to glide as she walks, almost like she were a spirit or she were walking on mist. She movements flow almost like water. She is a generally cheerful gal, often donning a small smile. Very small, almost like it were never there. Which leads to others thinking, and knowing, she is an oddball if one ever existed. One will never see her wearing make-up, even if the situation demands it. For this reason she takes on a more "natural" beauty, using what the gods have given her. She has long, past waist-length, snow-white hair. Which she totally combs now, because plot.
The Storm Goddess prefers practicality over flare, though she seems to blend the two together seemlessly - seamlessly? Her attire consists of a plain black outfit; top, pants, and shoes. Her top, though plain, adorns long-sleeves. These sleeves have a girth to them, billowing down instead of hugging the wrists - granted they arent Wizard sleeve long. And, instead of ending at her waist, the shirt drops to six inches past her waist. Then the shirt splits, forming a triangle space, until it finally ends a few inches above her knee's. The black top is a mere pull over. So there's no fuss over a zipper or buttons. The pants, black like the top and sandals, are of Kumogakure in design - mirroring the regulation Cloud village pants. And they extend down to the ankles. The exposed parts of her ankles are wrapped in white cloth. I goes without saying that the sandals are black as well, and plain - like they usually are.
Over this basic clothing Minerva wear more important clothing. The Weather Jacket she stole from her old home, Sunagakure, is worn directly over her plain black top. While the Kumogakure Flak Jacket - altered so the Weather Jacket scroll pockets are still accessible - is placed over the Weather Jacket. This helps create a double layer of defense; Weather Jacket and then Kumogakure Jacket. On her hands Minerva wears a pair of black Flowing Gloves, and a single Sealing ring - the latter of which has the Sunagakure symbol emblazoned on it. Around her waist she carries her tools on a belt. While before, when her belt hosted a cornucopia of items, now it holds a considerably diminished number of items. Now that her scrolls are held in her Weather Jacket, she needs less on her waist. Her belt does, however, carry these important things; Her Water-bottles, Elemental Kama, and Tanto. The Gunbai Uchiwa she carries on her back is "tied" - or rather has its chain clipped - to the Elemental Kama. And, instead of the standard headband, Minerva wears two; one standard-ish and one custom. The one she wears on her forehead is her custom; a horned protector with the "Storm" character. Her standard Kumo headband is her belt buckle.

Minerva has changed, somewhat, over her years. If one could describe Minerva with one word, that word would be; Water. Minerva is a very kind person, and dislikes the idea of violence. She firmly believes and people should help each other, and that happiness is more than achievable. She likes meeting new people and learning new things, especially if new things lead to new jutsu. That being one of her new hobbies; finding and creating new jutsu. Well, its more than a hobby. Since her skill and knowledge of chakra has bloomed, exploded almost, she had become passionate about the subject. Her new understanding of chakra has taught her many things. She has learned that anything is possible with chakra, especially after doing some kinjutsu research. And while she never actually learned the technique, she discovered a Resurrection jutsu did exist. The realization that the boundaries of death are not absolute, has also changed her a bit. Whether the changes are for better, or worst, remains to be seen. She spends a lot of time trying to mix her current abilities together, to form something new, and better. The way she see's it, since she has so many jutsu, is that such actions can only be beneficial. And while she's still a bit forgetful, it isnt nearly as bad as it used to be. Minerva's also developed a self-defense of sorts. She has a way of always being happy, or docile. She has a way of suppressing sadness, guilt, and loss. She bottles it up until she snaps - which is often triggered by natural lightening strikes, or when people threaten her family. The young Storm-kin has a tendency to praise other people. When she see's someone perform a powerful jutsu, or see's something incredible, she praises them and comments on how amazing it truly is.
Her "bottling up" goes hand in hand with another traits. That trait being one of her worst; the way she takes it out on other people. It's not like she lashes out on people, that would be far too rude. Her way is very suitable, almost unconscious, and not easily noticeable. She takes it out on people slowly, over time, like water does to stone. She befriends people and messes with them over the years. The actual events arent very large; flaking on them every once in a while, stealing their spotlight, or screwing them over in some humorous manner. In a way you can say her methods are similar to how males treat each other, when they are friends. Something she always found to be hilarious. Minerva dislikes "evil", people who cause harm just because they like to, because they think its fun. And while she dislikes death, fears it almost, she has the willpower to kill if she HAS to. Of course she'll always try to avoid it, if avoiding it is an option. Which is why he always asks people, about their actions, before condemning them. Because of this Minerva tends to not be judgmental to a fault, but still a bit. She bases her decisions, and judgement, by the knowledge she currently has. She does her best to never underestimate an opponent, but sometimes she cant help it. She has a good sense of duty, one of the best. And even though she may not always agree, she does what she's supposed to do. As, in her opinion, the point of life isnt to do what we want. But to do what is needed of us. She will never, however, do something too far off her moral compass. Her sense of humor hasnt changed all that much, she still finds dirty jokes, and sexual innuendos, to be funny.
All in all she's retained her kind and ditzy nature, its just less intense.

Description: Tobirama Senju was the legendary Second Hokage of Konohagakure. He was known, primarly, for his ability to cast extremely powerful Suiton jutsu without the need for a preexisting water source. With, seemingly, no pentalty for doing so. Spirit of Tobirama is a special ability that comes from the direct descendants of the Second Fire Shadow himself. One with this ability no longer suffers the penalties that most suiton users do; meaning they can cast any suiton jutsu without an existing water source and without paying the necessary chakra tax for doing so. As such they may never have an SA, or similar ability, that makes more then one element primary. Nor may they ever have Katon as an element (cause I think its funny).
Note: Konoha shinobi only need to train half the points needed for this SA. And no Konoha ninja needs my Permission to take this SA.
Name: Suika no Jutsu - Hydration Technique
Requirements: Must be trained as a 6-point Kinjutsu; first element becomes Water; no Fire element; dual bloods require dual admin permission
Description: This special ability allows the shinobi to completely turn their body into water, or rather it turns the body into water although it normally appears as common human body. This allows them to avoid taking damage from most kinds of attacks by having the weapons/jutsu pass through their liquid body. They can also slightly alter their build, like forming additional muscles, and merge with existing bodies of water to control them (moving them, but not full-on manipulation). While very powerful, this ability requires the user to drink a lot or they not only become unable to utilize this ability, but may also die of dehydration and evaporate completely. When they avoid taking damage through this technique, they lose an amount of chakra based on the size and damage potential of the attack. This technique does not provide protection against lightning-based ninjutsu and actually makes the user more vulnerable to them. It should be noted that while one with this tends to be quite skilled with water, if they’re not careful someone with elemental manipulation for water could end up manipulating them when merged with a body of water. Do note that people cannot merge with an entire ocean, even if that makes them one of the largest targets known to man. A moderate lake will be enough.

This SA grants an additional 2 element slots which can be filled with either basic or special/combo elements. Special/combo elements still need to be requested, and unlike the standard skilled SA clans that specialize in elements aren’t affected by this SA being canon, and normally limiting them.

Description: Some ninja are born a cut above the rest. They have miraculous Kekkai Genkai or merely a high level of intelligence. Then there are those who have neither, but are born with a little something special, something that allows them to stand out among their peers. And while not all these "special abilities" are something to be treasured, this one could never be seen as anything but awesome. The person with this Special Ability, Deep Reserves, has a deeper chakra pool then most ninja. Whoever has this SA gets a 100% increase to their base chakra pool.

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.

It will make the small projectile weapons fly in a rather wide range in the intended direction. The damage potential of this technique is not very high, but it is useful to wear down an enemy.

Description: Named as such because of how it was first used, this technique actually turns any relatively small and light object around the user into a projectile weapon. Notably, the shinobi does not have to be touching the object, but the objects must be rather close and they need to be able to send their chakra through a solid surface, for example, into small rocks through the ground. These objects will then float up and be launched at a target like common shuriken.

These projectiles can then be launched at a target all at once, which allows one to have more ranged attack options than if they were throwing the weapons.

Making the handsigns, a faint light seems to surround them before reaching up to the sky. This light can be perceived by normal people, allowing the sensor to do their job properly.

Description: A common technique among the people of Tsuchi no Kuni, or the Land of Stone - more specifically the village of Iwagakure. It is said that ninja of Iwagakure were taught this jutsu after reaching a certain level of skill, given that they hadnt already learned it themselves. And for this reason it was very common, and known, at least known of, by every single ninja of Iwagakure. Not even the destruction of the Village stopped this jutsu from being used. And it can be seen executed by many ninja or many different villages, becoming universal within the later years of Iwagakure's lifetime. "Flight" gifts the user with the power of flight, AKA the ability to fly. It costs chakra equal to a D-Rank jutsu, after the initial B, per post it is active. A very small price to pay for such a useful ability.

Description: This technique is performed without hand seals, but it requires a weapon filled with senbon needles to be used. The user will toss said weapon, usually an umbrella, upwards and release the senbon hidden inside using their chakra. This will create a dense shower of senbon, which the user can also direct using their chakra. This ninjutsu is very powerful not only because there is practically no escaping it, but also because each needle can pierce through strong armor.

This technique requires something to set the oil on fire to be of any use.

Description: An advanced ninjutsu that allows a shinobi to basically become invisible. It acts on the principle of a chameleon, making the user appear the same way as the background, except from any point of view. They can then walk around freely without fear of being seen, but can still be detected by other means. Special detection techniques may be able to expose the person using this.

The B rank version speeds them up by 50% while the A rank version speeds them up by 100%, but only while fighting on a liquid.

However, if one uses chakra at the bottom of their feet, or any other body part, like when using water walking technique, they can cross the sticky liquid safely.

Description: The water clone technique is a simple ninjutsu that creates a replication of the user with a physical body. Because it isn't purely illusionary, it can attack and use ninja techniques, just like the shinobi themselves, but it still disperses into a puddle of water when it takes a hit. The clones created by this technique only possess one tenth of the user's physical ability and chakra level and they are unable to go far from the user which limits them a lot, but a smart shinobi can make a lot of use out of them. Any special weapons the user may have had on them when using this jutsu will be copied partially, losing any special qualities the original has and only having the same power as a common weapon of that type. They are able to perform a few water techniques of C rank or lower that the user has available, but in doing so it will destroy the clone.

This technique can only be used when there's sufficient water around.

Description: A technique somewhat reminiscent of summoning jutsu, but different in principle. After forming necessary hand seals, the user will put their hand on the surface of water. While frightening in its power when used against a target trapped underwater, this technique is not very useful when the opponent is above water and entirely useless without a big enough water body around.

Description: A water element ninjutsu used purely for close combat, it gathers some water into the user's hand and solidifies it into a blade. The weapon that can be created cannot exceed the size of a katana in length, but it is somewhat thicker and looks more like a crystal than a sword. However, it can still be used to both cut and stab, just like a normal blade. While it only has the same power as an average metal weapon, it can be useful in case you lack one, otherwise, it's usually not worth wasting chakra. It can also be freely made to lose or regain its solid form, though it can't deal any damage when not in the solid form.

It requires up to fifty percent less chakra to use if there is sufficient water around and the user does not have to create any.

Description: A jutsu made by the Hozuki Clan, a clan from Kirigakure. What makes this jutsu so useful isnt its simplicity, even if thats an upside, but rather how its executed. Water Gun Technique is a seal-less jutsu that simply requires the user to point his hand at the enemy, his thumb upwards and his index finger extended; like a gun. The user will then fire a single droplet of water at the intended target. The droplet travels quickly - twice as fast as a thrown kunai - and hits with tremendous force, enough force to pierce through defensive jutsu, and clones, of equal rank. The droplet can pierce flesh and bone with ease, so a shot through the heart would be fatal.

While this technique can easily drown an opponent, it is not very useful because it can only be used either in a place where there is a lot of water or by spending more chakra than it's really worth.

Controlling the water constantly takes away a bit of chakra, and the user will have to perform the technique again if they change position.

The paralysis lasts for at least three seconds, during which the target will be defenseless, but it takes the pillars some time to appear.

Though it can can nullified by a Katon jutsu one rank below, and by doing so it will, naturally, increase the power of the Katon jutsu by one rank. The net is roughly 6x6 feet, so it can be rolled away from if the opponent has enough wit.

The user must first get underground and directly below the target, after which they will pull the enemy into the ground so that only their head remains overground as they emerge on the surface. The collapsing ground will effectively block the victim's movement as they fall into the hole, so it will take them some time to escape, if they are able to on their own at all. This jutsu can be used to pull an opponent underground completely, but in that case a firm layer of earth or rock will not be created around the target's body and they will be able to escape much easier.

Description: A jutsu created to replicate the artistic nightingale floors that are so famously used by the nobility, this uses the users earth affinity to achive a similar effect. Forming hand signs before stomping on the ground and channeling chraka into the earth. Only usable when on the 'ground' (ie when not on a wooden floor or water etc etc) this changes the area within 75 feet of the user. Any time someone takes a step in that area, the earth beneath them 'chirps' in a similar method to a cicada. Mokuton does the same, only change earth and ground for wood and wooden floor.

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to lower or raise the ground in the surrounding area, allowing them to create giant holes or elevations in the ground. With precise timing, this technique can be used to evade incoming attacks, as well as to endanger opponents by moving them into the path of an oncoming attack reducing their reaction time as well as knocking them off balance, making it even harder to avoid the attack. Other than being moved below or above ground — relative to the surrounding surface — the terrain is not altered as plant life and people retain their same positions when this technique is used.

This ninjutsu not only traps enemies, but also drains their chakra rather quickly if they are caught inside. A strong enough attack can break through the dome, but since their own chakra is being used against them, the victims of this technique are at a severe disadvantage.

Description: Based off a rather simply principle, this jutsu at first appears to be a water jutsu, as it comes pouring down from the skies above them. Used as a shield/defensive cracker, it makes its way into any holes in the defenses, or if there is no holes, covers the defense. A minute later, the water flashes once before 'exploding', causing the typical Ranton shocks/zaps to anyone caught with/touching.

Description: Best used when fighting multiple opponents, or when fighting blind, this jutsu has a very simply method of ensuring that it hits... attack everything. More specifically, when the hand signs are made, the users body is covered in bright light like substance, almost like they were preparing a shield. 5 seconds later however, instead of a shield manifesting, a blast of ranton energy explodes outwards, hitting anyone within 50 feet. Due to the nature of this jutsu, its rather exhausting, and thus can only be used 3 times in a thread.

Description: One of the most powerful of the Ranton jutsu's, its almost one of the most infamous, especially in recent years as the signature jutsu of former Iwa Sannin Sucal. Upon making the handsigns, they gather a ball of chraka into their hands, which begins to glow with light. Once they are ready to fire, they simply aim it, from which dozens of smaller beams come flying forward to bombard the enemy. Like many Ranton jutsu, these beams can each be directed in flight.

Description: An even more powerful jutsu then Laser Cirucs, if that is even possible, the Symphony of Destruction is the last sound that anyone wants to hear. To use this jutsu requires the user to prick their fingers before making the signs, so that the blood flows into the ball of light as it forms. When this one is fired, it makes a sound similar to that of an explosion, followed by several more. The first explosion comes from the actual jutsu itself, with the many secondary ones coming from impact, as each beam detonates with the force of an explosive tag. Like many ranton Jutsu, these beams can be directed on flight.

Description: A crucial Jutsu for Yukiton; it allows the exude a cold chakra into the air that flows up into the sky and begins to release an energy that causes snow to begin to fall from the sky and form on the ground as a chill is created. This ability works doubly as fast in a extensively cold area, but typically takes a post to set in, unless absolutely freezing outside.

Description: Snow over is an effective use of snow while not burning through the present snow. Similar you your typical fireball idea, the user inhales the cold air into their chest and using the cold snow all around them as partial fuel blows out a large ball of ice that stampedes and an opponent and attempts to roll them over in a cliche cartoon method. Getting hit by this not only causes a lot of damage but also can bind the opponent in its snowy grasp.

Requirements: Massive amount of chakra
Description: A forbidden technique that eats away at the user's life span. Using a great amount of chakra, the shinobi will boost their cell division hundreds of times, which would allow them to heal practically any injury, even lost limbs will be regenerated within a minute. However, since the cells in a human body can only divide a set amount of times over the course of one's life, this technique sharply reduces their remaining life span, depending on how serious the injury was. The amount of chakra required for this technique to be effective is also higher than what a shinobi can gather up normally.

Description: The storms that they call to, echo within their very veins, filling their mind body and souls. More importantly however, it gives their chakra a unique feel, with those who detect it often describing it as getting caught within a thunderstorm. People of this bloodline always receive their third element at S rank, rather then SS but they can't use basics other then water lightning or wind without an SA or another bloodline.. They can, use combination elements that use these elements without taking up slots. In addition to this, to sensors and detectors their chakra echos and booms like thunder (so they can't use non clan stealth jutsu), making them extremely easy to notice, even when they aren't sparking. Note, that no element containing Doton or katon can be taken in their 'free' slots, however they can still get a single combination or special element that contains doton or Katon through their normal bonus element slot.
Name: Stormbreaker
Requirements: Stormkin Bloodline
Description: As a side effect of the storm making process, the storm kin often have their bodies toughened up, if inadvertently. Its not infrequent for them to be struck by lightning, even when they are paying attention, with this acting as a measure of bloodline protection. The weaker members after all, never survive long enough to breed, keeping the bloodline strong and pure throughout the years.
Those who live long enough to make it to shinobi training, have been strengthened and zapped by adverse weather to the point where they are completely desensitized to it, not even noticing it when it happens at worse. At best, they even enjoy it, giggling and laughing when the latest strike hits them. Stormkin with this bloodline limit take no negative effects from any weather based effect that doesn't contain chakra. (so yes, they can be struck by natural lightning and laugh.)

Description: One of the more low key abilities of the storm kin, is their ability to walk or sit on places that have a much lower moisture content then others. A simple yet effective trick, many a stormkin has used it in order to access or hide in places that none other can reach. Rumors that it was used to create a cloud city are unfounded, and impossible. This allows them to walk on whatever or things like mist and clouds without chakra.
Name: Stormbinder
Requirements: Stormkin Bloodline, Start with two tattoos, one point per extra tattoo
Description: As a method of passing on their power from teacher to student, all stormkin have unusual tattoos on various parts of their body. These tattoos are usually passed on at an early age, giving the body time to adjust and get used to the storm energies that surge through them. A stormkin can only use their bloodline or jutsu's through a part of their body that has a tattoo on it. As a side effect, this bloodline can be stolen via the theft of the attached area. In addition using special rituals that only they know, a Storm Binder is able to store chraka in their tattoo's, saving it for a day that they might find themselves in a quarry. By activating a tattoo, they are able to decrease the cost of jutsu's used in that post by one rank (to a minimum of C), or increase the strength by 25%.
They can also have a maximum number of tattoo's, depending on their rank.

While the titan may have left large amounts of lore behind for them, Renegades believe that his path might not have been the most successful.. after all, he didn't ever reach his goal. Because of this they are most likely to look outside the main stormkin teachings, innovating and designing all kinds of bastardized jutsu that most Loyalists would zap them on the spot for. renegade stormkin can bring in a single weather based SA from outside the clan as bloodline limit.

Name: Ice Creation
Requirements: Hyouton Bloodline, Gained at Creation.
Description: Ice Creation is the basis of all Jutsu's used by the Hyouton Clan. Ice Creation allows a member of the Hyouton Bloodline to mix together Water and Wind in a specific ration, also lace it with Chakra, to create Ice. However, it isn't simply regular ice. Seeming as it is mixed with the users Chakra, it takes on two special qualities. First of all, any Hyouton Ice can not be melted and is near impervious to Fire-Based Jutsus. Secondly, Hyouton Ice is as hard as diamond, making it basically unbreakable. Strength of the Ice is according to the opponent's Rank and the Rank of the Jutsu they use as followed:

This cloud can be moved around by channeling chraka in to it, otherwise it just floats around with the breeze. Unlike the hidden Mist jutsu, which is similar, clouds are thicker and denser.

Description: This quick three seal ninjutsu creates a movable controllable gap with-in a storm. In the designated eye of the storm no rain, nor hail, nor snow, shall fall. Lightning will avoid that spot and the storm caller will be safe. This can only create a gap with-in one's own storm. If they don't possess total control over the storm their Arashinome is only a temporary defense with a two post cool-down. The second rank of this jutsu allows the storm caller to detect anyone with-in the storm and create several different gaps for his allies as well. While Arashinome prevents continual attacks it doesn't stop specifically targeted raiton/suiton based jutsu.

Description: Raising their fist high in the air, the user gathers nearby clouds and centers them around himself. As the clouds gather they become dense and lower themselves towards the ground. This jutsu is primarily harnessed by wind, enhanced by water, and is assisted by lightning. It draws in nereby clouds and makes them increasing the power of all, Raiton, Suiton, and Fuuton jutsu and casting down a thunderstorm upon those inside. The higher the rank, the lower, heavier, and more dense the clouds causing more rain and more lightning. The storm is expected to last three posts per rank.

Description: An incredibly devastating technique that combines all the elements of Arashi into one surging force which grows and incorporates parts of your storm and it progresses through. It collides crushes and washes away anything that get in it's path including opposing elemental jutsu. The height and distance traveled by Kazetsunami depends on a number of factors, the chart below describes this. For each element you don't possess (Water, Wind, Lightning) subtract one from all of the total values.

Description: Makyou Hyoushou is a Ninjutsu technique unique to the Hyouton bloodline. After forming the necessary hand seals, nearby water forms long flat mirrors 360 degrees around the target. They then places themselves inside one of the mirrors. Once inside the mirror, they can then using the mirror reflections to confuse his target. Utilizing the reflections, they can then almost instantaneously move from one mirror to the other. Due to the speed, their target will appear to be moving in slow motion. Because of this they can then unleash numerous needles into their opponent with little difficulty. Keep in mind, this Jutsu can only be used for a certain number of posts.
Name: Hyouton Sensatsu Suishou (Ice Release Death by a Thousand Flying Water Needles)

Description: The Hyouton clan, otherwise known as Yuki, are world renown for the durability of their ice. And while it is mostly used for offensive purposes, and thus is full potential squandered, there are several defensive jutsu that exist. After forming the necessary handseals the user will create a dome of Yuki Ice around him and/or his allies. The dome can take a barrage of explosive tags and suffer very little damage. However the dome still follows the chart given in the Hyouton clan BL when it comes down to how much it can take from Katon/Taijutsu attacks.

Minerva's birth was pretty much a mistake. I know, thats kinda fucked up. But you'll be surprised on how many people were born by mistake. Of course they are never told this, cause that would be pretty fucked up. Imagine, if you will, your parents telling you that you were a mistake. It would probably be acceptable when you got older, when you could take it without being threatened by it, but at a young age it would be cruel. Anyways, Minerva's mother was a genin from Sunagakure when the Great War hit. Her father was a Chuunin from Konohagakure, who had just taken a pretty heavy beating from Iwagakure by this time. Though the good ol' fashion Leaf seemed to pull itself from the jaws of defeat once again. Honestly Minerva could swear that village had been destroyed atleast once and defeated even more then that. But it seemed all those rumors were just that....rumors. That or some invisible force was making everything right again? But that was really dumb to assume, and Minerva was never seen as the smart one. So, even from a young age, she conjured the belief that Konoha had been destroyed and defeated multiple times. And there was simply some big conspiracy to cover it all up. Because all the villages had invested in Konoha stocks and if Konoha fell, then so would they. So they all fabricated this war in order to fool the populaces of their respective villages. And Iwa only lost the war because they pulled the short straw.
No matter how dumb that may sound, its what she believed. And what she stills believes to this day. But never mind, we arent here to talk about Minerva...yet. Minerva's mother was about 16 when she had Minerva, cause the woman couldnt keep her legs closed. And her bastard of a father, who simply left the mom and never returned, was about seventeen. So he was almost a pedophile. Of course she had to give up her life as a ninja so she could birth and raise the to-be-born Minerva. Her mother could be seen as a strong woman, or girl...cause she was a girl when she had her. Then again, all underage girls who juggle work, school, and taking care of a child are seen as strong. Even if it is one damn child. You heard of that woman who juggled eleven kids? Yea, that bitch was crazy. Though she often called their kids by numbers, which was retarded if you asked anyone. Why give them names if you just call them by numbers? Why not just make their names numbers? Dumb ho, Minerva didnt like women like that. And generally had an issue with people who couldnt call people by their names. Numbers were bad, mmkay? Her mother, Maria, had Minerva when she was 17. Cause it takes nine months and all that. She had already done a great deal to try and set her and her daughter up for life. But enough was never enough, and a child always needed more. Maria's parents were more then happy to watch Minerva, and thus Maria had a nice spot of help. No thanks to that asshole Yuki dude from Konoha, who liked to call himself her father. But he died in Yukigakure when he went to help his brother from Kumo.
Minerva's favorite memories of her mother were the times were she would put her to sleep. She would often sing her a lullaby. Songs like Farewell and Goodnight. Or tell her stories. Minerva's very favorite story was that of the Stormkin, and the tale of their creation. You see Minerva was born during the greatest Storm to ever hit the Sunagakure desert. And so her mother would often call her birth "The coming of the Storm". Raging, wild, and yet beautiful. Something so dangerous and yet it breathed life into the world. Minerva always liked that, it made her feel special. The story of the Stormkin was a happy one to the young Minerva, with all her naivety. And every night in her dreams she would meet the First 40 and the mysterious man. And even as she grew older, she still loved the story. And loves it to this day. Though due to the nature of the story Minerva learned about sex very early in life. Her mom was very open about life to her, and was very trusting of her daughter. One could argue that her past mistakes, having a child so early, has changed her. She didnt wanna impose her own insecurities on Minerva, nor make her suffer her mothers paranoia. Maria's mother, Minerva's grandmother, wasnt the same though. And Maria often heard a mouthful from her mother about how open she was to Minerva. Maria didnt mind, though. She was a mother herself and understood the worry. But she trusted that Minerva would make the right choices in life, and she was right.
As Minerva grew older she developed differently then "normal" kids. Most teenagers become rebellious and detached from their families. While Minerva never really lost her connection. She was the kinda kid who liked to hang out with her parents, instead of other kids. And her and her mother grew very close over the years. To the point where she was Minerva's best friend. Minerva also developed a personality to match her social environment. Her mother, while thrilled that her daughter loved her so much, wished Minerva would talk with others her own age. And thus she encouraged Minerva to join the ninja academy, telling her that she would become the second Storm of Suna. The Desert Storm of Sunagakure, is what she called Minerva. And that nothing would make her more proud then to see her daughter become a ninja. It would take a fool to not see that her mother was a bit selfish. And that she had guilted Minerva into it with the whole "pride part". But then again, Minerva had already considered it a few times. Especially since she had already begun to play with chakra. The old Hidden leaf tactic; placing a leaf on your forehead and concentrating until you burn it. Yea...she never could do it. She often burnt herself out and passed out. Which was why she spent large amounts of time in her room. Of course her mother thought it was something else. And became very concerned. Not because of what she thought she was doing, but because of how much she thought she was doing it.
The Academy life was challenging. More challenging then Minerva had originally thought. But thats what she deserved for having such preconceptions. No one really tells you how hard it is to graduate. All anyone ever says it; "I was a ninja and it was so much fun". Do they ever tell you about how difficult it is to become a ninja? The blood, sweat, and tears? No! They dont. If Minerva had known it would be so challenging and so...time consuming. She'd have prepared accordingly. It wasnt like she thought it would be easy. She was suspecting it to be difficult. But it wasnt difficult in the way she thought it would be. It wasnt only physically taxing, but it was also emotionally taxing and mentally taxing. Screw up often costed the whole class, and thus you were screwing over everyone. And people didnt enjoy that. Minerva did her best to avoid getting in trouble. But that didnt really matter, though. Cause she was often berated by her fellow students for how odd she was. And so screwing them over might've been the good choice. No matter. Minerva spent a large amount of her academy life adjusting to the cruelty of her peers. The more they bothered her, the more they realized that she wasnt bothered by it. And soon they gave up. She eventually made a couple of friends, and even less of them actually liked her for who she was. She graduated several years later with no real outstanding to speak of. She was your average student. And she didnt mind that, not at all.
Living in a Ninja Paradise
There where very few things of note that took place in the years to follow. The ones worth mentioning cant be considered good things. Minerva spend many years in Sunagakure training herself to become stronger, doing a mission here and there to put money in her pocket. She met a myraid of characters; From a fashion obsessed gentleman, to a blind woman who had an affinity for Pork Buns. Time flew by faster then she'd care to admit, and time seemed to stand still, as it lost all meaning, under the beating sun. But one day, while speaking with a woman named Hio, Minerva was called on to serve her village. She fought and defeated the Kazekage's son Raiza Mizunaka, a man who had gotten tired of living in his Fathers shadow, thus making a name for herself. But, during the battle, her mother lost her life. And so, having nothing left in the village, she set out to find a home. She made her way towards Kumogakure no Sato, hoping that the Kage there would take her in. For if he didnt, and this was a big if, cause only a moron would turn away such a skilled ninja, she would have to roam the lands until she did find a home. This was the start of a new tale, a new chapter in the Story of Minerva of the Stormblood. Living in a Ninja Paradise was hardly dull...
Ninja of Kumogakre
Finding a new home in Kumogakure proved to be....eventful. Her first encounter with the Raikage, Hao, left her with a bit too much on her mind. Not only was the young Kage a fun and exciting individual, but he was also handsome. So he would continue to plague - for lack of a better word - her thoughts for many weeks afterwords. During her stay in the Cloud village, Minerva performed a wide range of missions. From cleaning a dirty lake, to dealing with some punks giving residents trouble. Her journey also brought her into contact with several people; A man named Kokkaku Kidotai who wanted power. A young woman named Erika, with, apparently, an unparallel scientific mind. As well as duo, brothers Katsu and Joseph, both of which carried a swag and oddity of his own. All of this paled in comparison to what would happen next, however. As Hao called on her to help the village of Kumogakure, a task she was intent on carrying out without fail. Her, her Haokage, and a young ninja named Zatachi stormed the Desert Nation of Sunagakure. There they dished out a buttload of pain, destroyed the - already in shambles - joke of a village. And managed to steal a few of its legendary relics, the likes of which Minerva had never seen. She came into possession of a jacket with the ability to defy the heavens, much like her Titan blood allowed. Not only did it help her refine her storm working, but it also looked damn good on her. She returned to Kumogakure with a new found power, and a thirst to discover the origins, and workings, of an ancient advanced element; Mokuton.
