Kinjutsu Training - Kuchiyose no Jutsu
Darkness seemed to threaten to engulf the village of Kirigakure no Jutsu, shadow irradiating from within the deepest, pure darkness flooding in upheaval upon the feminine figure, her lithe body stretching forwards. She was pressed for time and had pressed herself into somewhat of a run down that shadowy corridor, at last coming forth from the drenching shade and into the light mist that presided entirely within the massive span of Kirigakure, maneuvering along rooftops, her footfalls carrying herself one more step forwards, one more step closer towards the precipice that had been alloted for the use this morning. Her physical form was clearly visible, rather seductive for that of a Kunoichi of respectable stature.
Her form stretched gingerly, her garment quite revealing and leaving little to the imagination, beadlets ran down her neck, pursed by her silvery ice hued hair, of silky composure as she lowered her arms and began to withdraw several scrolls. She withdrew a large number of scrolls from her pouches in addition to the one that she had carried across her back, red hued and of simple leather construction. The final scroll came from the main picket of the pack, settling it upright at the center while spreading the smaller-sized scrolls outwards from the center. Quickly, she drew her arms inwards, coupling her digits, focusing on her level of chakra control. Raising he right hand outwards towards a small pool of water, Rin began to distribute her chakra.
Chakra evened out as a layer of ice across the pool, thickening gradually with every single second that passed, a large spike forming the nexus while small spikes jutted out here and there along the surface, focusing on this formation in order to attune herself to what she would have to do to enact the jutsu she was about to learn. rin was doing a good job at maintaining her level of chakra control until finally a crack split across the ice, then another. She whispered to herself, trying to maintain control of the ice-flow of the formation above the small pool of water.
"Focus....Maintain focus...."
Rin attempted to calm herself to the point where she could maintain control of the ice formation, spreading her chakra along the water at her fingertips nearly as perfectly as she could manage, however the ice managed to crack here and there. Somehow, the entire structure survived for longer than the training had required, extending on fifteen minutes of chakra control training with the addition of maintaining one's chakra control until finally, the ice cracked in too many places for the formation to be salvaged, and it plummeted. She was not disheartened, however, she had done amazing and had made the decision to move on, stepping about the pool's width and returning to the layout of scrolls.

Eric Hatake had left Otogakure a while ago after a failed meeting with the Third Otokage, Reileyn Itichi. During that conversation, Zieg Itichi came in, demanded him out, and redeclared himself Otokage, along with the threat that he'd kill him if they ever crossed paths again. There were probably exceptions to that rule, but generally he would do it. Zieg never left a promised unchecked, that was for certain. So he came to Kirigakure, to pick up his student, Kite Hiroshi. He had to get him to Jounin status as soon as possible. He knew the boys Taijutsu was Chuunin level, and his sharingan implant made him dangerous with ninjutsu as well.
It was on the way to the village itself that he heard an familiar voice.
"I did better than I thought I would, however I can still do better."
Stopping for a moment, Eric walked to the source of the voice. He saw Rin Shouten practicing a jutsu of some sort, and appeared to be failing at it. So far at least, if her labored breathing was any indication.
"You can do better, that's for sure." Eric said. He walked up next to her and checked the ground around them.
"Summoning jutsu, correct? It took me a long while to master that. You have to be really careful with those. Summon something beyond your control range, and you might end up with wasting a lot of chakra for a creature that won't even pay attention to you." Eric-San, it's a pleasure to meet you again, though i must ask, what bring you back to Kirigakure? spoke Rin, her countenance once more betwixt into somewhat of amusement. She did not know why, however the mere vision of Eric-san brought some of those latent memories that had been hidden deep within her ever since her childhood back tot he surface of her complex mind. Her smile faded into somewhat of a disparate frown as her glance returned to all nine of the scrolls stretching outwards before her like a phantasm, chakra being procured from her body as she took a single step forwards, followed by a few more, bringing her to the nexus while her dark irises gingerly closed tightly.
"Genraku, the Frozen Phoenix, eh?" spoke Rin as she relinquished the contract and nipped her thumb with her teeth, using the blood welling up to sign her own name, one of the few to have signed it, before raising and bringing her arms behind her, managing somewhat of a smirk to Eric-san. The young kunoichi's Chakra began to nearly explode, to the point of near-visibility around her. "This one's for you, Eric-san!"
"Boar ~ Dog ~ Bird ~ Monkey ~ Ram ~!" She commanded, raising her digits into a series of hand seals that moved in a blur of a place, with each hand seal performed, one of the scrolls would glow with the Kanji that represented that seal, then raised her right hand upwards in a swift movement, nipping a bit of flesh and pressing down upon a central point in front of her. The chakra began to shift and mold swiftly, shifting time and space as a single point formed below her, rapidly changing in size until it was roughly her size.
"Heh, it's been a while since I've gotten any fresh air!" spoke the voice, belonging to that which was now above her. The figure had the appearance of a phoenix - somewhat - now that Rin began to examine it carefully, feling an intense heat emanating from that which was above her - Sazaku. Rin felt the joy pass through her as they soared through the sky, then glanced back downwards to the figure of Eric while pressing icy blue from her visage. "I am the one who summoned you, I am Rin Shouten, Jounin of Kirigakure."
"Heh, this should be fun." The phoenix said as he beat his wings dutifully, bringing himself into a dive towards the ground, extending his wings and bringing the phoenix to the ground quickly while adjusting for a soft landing, Rin pat Sazaku's neck lightly, smiling as she then let him go and he rocketed into the sky.

Nine Years Ago...
A scene unfolded infront of the young form of Rin, dressed within warm reds unfolded upon her soft velvet skin. Her father stood before her, holding hard onto the neck of Genraku as he rode downwards upon a familiar sight - the Brothel where she had been raised and where her emotions and virginity had been stripped from her. Her eyes remained wide, in disbelief as her own childish form quickly rode from the Brothel, only to witness something she had not before. The man garbed within black coat, the headband of Otogakure stood upon the roof of the Brothel, tossing his large sword which her father, garbed within the ANBU uniform for that of Kirigakure, avoided while unleashing his katana and lunging forwards towards the Shinobi.
From the angle she had been when the Shinobi pulled his sword back via a chain that was hidden within his pair of gauntlets, her father had been struck, however Genraku had been struck instead, shown when the figure of her father shifted into that of Genraku. The scene drifted away from her slowly, until she was once more on Genraku's back.she did not fully understand what she had seen yet, she need time to process it.
Eric was impressed when she declared the summoning was for his sake, not her own. He found it rather cute, like she would have actually had a crush on him. When she summoned an Ice Phoneix summon. He clapped when the summon went off without a hitch. "That great, Rin. A perfect summon. Would you like to see mine though? Size might not be everything, but for mine, that's its biggest advantage." he told her. He took out his own summon scroll, and it was rather small since it was rarely signed. He handed her the scroll to look at.
"I commend your progress Rin Shouten. Before I summon, I must ask, would you like to be one of my apprentices?"Eric asked her. "Be warned, you will learn techniques that can kill you if you miscalculate. "Thank you for those kind words, Eric-san." She said, releasing the summon back into the nether as she stepped forwards slightly. Nothing would stop her dreams from coming to fruition, however even Rin would admit that she needed some aid in getting to the point where she wished to be, and lightly nodded. She did want to indeed see Eric's summon, and had to admit that she had began to feel something for him, however she would need some time to sort out her feelings before finding out what these feelings would develop into.
"I'll be your apprentice, and I'd like to see your summon." She said, managing a smile as she stared intently at him, knowing that she could use all the help she could get and training under him could possibly drive her determination and even her feelings for the man further. Nevertheless, she remained intent, preparing for his summoning. Eric bit his thumb and made the proper handsigns. "Alright. Summoning Justu: Ryukami!" he shouted. He slammed his palm to the ground and he was lifted 30 stories into the air, on top of a giant dragon's head. "Hey Ryukami, I just summoned you today to show my friend there how to summon perfecly without the use of scrolls." he explained. The giant dragon was probably one of his biggest challenges ever. He had to master the Rasengan before he could have earned his approval to summon the dragon summons.
The giant dragon nodded"That's fine. It was stuffy over there anyways" he said. "Just make sure I can see some action once in awhile." "This is...how can this be the very power I seek to do what must be done?" Rin said, hanging her head low as the Phoenix Sazaku quickly dispersed from the skies with a burst of fiery matter, returning to the ether where Sazaku was borne. Her body hung slightly, icy blue trees of silky substance hanging down, framing her countenance and hanging down the nape of her neck, the deep blue energy rising steeply around her, nearly to the point of visibility. feint traces of blue surrounded her as she rose her head, digits caressing her countenance and brushing the silky tresses away. "I can...no, I must become stronger!"
Her chakra rose violently, attuned to her rise in emotional state, the blue surrounding her and raising as the wisps of the ethereal blue substance rising from the aura that now surrounded her, raising as if to stretch towards the heavens. Rin's arms moved outwards form her body, her hands raising evenly to her body as she prepared to move into the hand seals for Kuchiyose no Jutsu, then found herself shocked by the revelation. Rin had done these hand signs before, a few years ago if she remembered correctly...
The Past~
"Kuchiyose no Jutsu is the art of summoning; it allows you to call upon the summon of the contract that you have signed with you blood form the nether in order to aid you in your fight." Spoke a feminine voice, rough and commanding in nature. Rin could notice several other Chuunin as well as even a few Genin attending this lecture, folding in her arms as she payed attention to the lecturer's words, unable to see the woman's face due to the mass between herself and the lecturer. The woman began talking more and Rin raised her head slightly. "In order to call upon a summon, you must first sign a summoning contract for that type of animal with your blood."
"Rin, Why don't we practice after the Lecture?" she craned her neck, the man sitting next to her had jet black hair, tied into a ponytail of sorts and wearing the Chuunin Vest like her. He had a kind smile, and if she could feel emotions, she might feel a bit of love - however the point was that Rin was an emotionless killing machine. Still, even she could understand the benefit of extra training, managing one of her hollow smiles and nodded. "Sure, uhh, let's train at the secret spot I showed you last time..."
"The handseals for Kuchiyose are as follows - Boar ~ Dog ~ Bird ~ Monkey ~ Ram" spoke the woman, representing each hand seal in slow motion. First, she brought her arms out, then clasped them downwards together, keeping the left hand balled up while raising it and flattening out her right hand, pressing it against the left hand. She brought both hands into a sharp peak, lowering her middle fingers, pressing both hands together afterwards, then clasped her hands together and raised her two forefingers. "She's done with the lecture, let's go."
The Present~
"Now I remember, it was one of the lectures I attended when I became a Chuunin..." Rin said, raising her right hand to her teeth and nicking a small spot where blood began to well underneath the skin, her digits moving in a blur as she began to perform the hand seals in rapid succession: Boar; Dog; Bird; Monkey; Ram! Her chakra began to spin around her. The chakra began to open a gateway to the ether where summons remained until called upon, finally pressing her outstretched hand downwards, pressing the digits against the terra, shouting in a commanding voice a she did this. "Kuchiyose no jutsu!!"
"Hmm...who has summoned me from my resting place? I don't remember giving anyone that sort of permission" spoke the rather grunt and bossy voice, which happened to belong to the figure that was now below her. The figure was much larger than her last summon attempt, so much that it could support her weight and still maintain flight. Sje felt an intense heat from the Phoenix as it lowered it's wing. rin stepped off the Hpoenix as it lift upwards and took flight, soaring through the sky then glanced back downwards to the figure of Rin who stood with arms folded. "I am the one who summoned you, I am Rin Shouten, Jounin of Kirigakure."
"Still not worthy of summoning me, the great Genrai." The phoenix said as he beat his wings dutifully, bringing himself into a dive towards the ground, extending his wings and bringing the phoenix to the ground quickly while adjusting for a soft landing, aside the form of the one who had summoned him. The flare seemed to ooze form him, swatting at the young Jounin whose body was so accustomed to the icy cold like a club to the gut, causing Rin to stagger slightly backwards and maintain her distance from the Phoenix. "Heh, what a weakling, you can't even stand to get near me, let alone ride my back for more than a few moments!"
"No...I'm not strong enough...again. Why am I never good enough!" Rin said, pounding her fists into the ground as tears welled from her eyes, trying to brush the tears from her eyes as she heard the mocking laughter of the Phoenix, clasping her hands onto her ears. "No...No..."
'Be strong, my daughter - The Princess of the Hyouton...'
"Father...?"
Flashback~
Her eyes no longer saw what sat in front of her, instead it saw the past. As she fled from the Sunset Brothel, her father spoke words to her. She could see the icy shape near him, as she had seen in her past flashback, however this time it was different - she was in the right prospective as her father spoke to her, then vanished without another though. "Be strong, my daughter - the Princess of Hyouton. Be strong and defeat those who stand before you. Let no one command you, for you are beyond them all, the last living member of our precious blood."

"Father, you were right. I can not let anyone command me or ridicule me. You have given me strength and now I know that you live, I will find you father."
