Clan Description:

This story begins long ago in a place far in the West. Legend has it there was two lovers who were born of a dragon. They carried no traits but the eyes of a burning white. These eyes saw more than any human could possibly see. They pierced the soul and held fast to the ideals of men. These people were fearful for the children they were uprearing. They lived in turbulent times and those without proper strength would die. The children were not blessed with the eyes of the dragon that would be the future and past. The two lovers sought out a quest to save their family from doom. The quest brought about peril which ended the lives of the parents. The three distinctly different children weeped at their death. These tears streaked their cheeks like acid and left a marring that would last forever. This marring blessed them with the power of the Dragons; in the last words of their parents they told them the Marked Eyes would help them never forget.

These three children grew into powerful warriors of the newly founded Dragon Clan. They fought those who opposed them and conquered a massive portion of the land. During these times of uncertainty and war this was considered impressive and people flocked to the security of the Dragons. They soon had a powerful kingdom comprised of thousands of people with only 20 or so Dragons to control it. Eventually this led to disaster. In the following centuries to come the wars were coming to an end and peace was imminent. The Dragon Clan was founded upon warmongers and still contained that trait. Although with too powerful enemies and too many allies they were without purpose. The flaws of weak economic control and a slow industrial change led to a rebellion. The Clan started an internal war but was significantly outnumbered. They were exiled from the country; part of their punishment was a forced change of name. They were now called the Mitsuhaki Clan and their Dragon Ancestry simply refered to as the Ancients. With nowhere to turn to they left and headed East.

The Clan found its way to the land of eternal rain; Amegakure No Sato. They found new purpose in their life; they pledged themselves to the protection of the Emperor of the Rain Country. In time, they began to prosper, both in relations and in powerful ninjas. They grew large, the bloodline occured frequent. War was frequent at the time. They fought with a ferocity and vicious quality not found in many; the spirit of Dragon warriors still resided in most of them. In the eyes of the Emperor and others, they were the best of the terrible. He favoured them and kept them as personal soldiers.Their reputation soon preceded them, and they were known across the land.

However the reign of the Emperor would not last forever. In a final fell swoop of a long government process the Emperor was killed in a coup and replaced with the typical Kage form of government. The Mitsuhaki were devastated and knew that a warrior was to take revenge for their master. They attacked in full, with their most skilled jounin and chuunin. Their mistake took them to the grave. Every single ninja that attacked, fueled by vengeance, fought to the death. No one survived, and the Mitsuhaki clan was devastated. Very few were left out of the carnage, left to grieve and ponder on the mistakes of the past. The indomitable warrior spirit had been broken and all that remained was a clan without anything more.

The pride given from their ancestors gave them only one option - to stay and keep their dignity. The remaining members of the clan stayed in the Village and tried to salvage what they could. The clan began to die slowly, wilting away from their vast finances, power, and strength. The ever-dominant bloodline became rare within its members. The memories of the Ancients were almost fully forgotten.

Branch clans appeared, attempting to distance themselves from the dishonourable rotting of the clan. They attempted to reach their roots of true Dragon warriors by starting new lives in villages. The lastest village they have occupied was Sunagakure, the Sand Village. The brother of the main branch leader has settled here, claiming all leadership in the region, unlike the usual custom of having a Elder Council.

Clan Traits/Characteristics: The clan has a notable structure for family life. Rarely does the children interact with their parents; rather, they are brought up by a child mother. Later on in life, they interact most with their teachers. While the bonds between immediate relatives are weak, the entire clan have a strong sense of honour and value each other's lives as well. Physically, they have few common traits that bind them together. Most of them have lighter brown or light blonde hair colours and lighter skin tones. They also have a tendency to be shorter and smaller than average height.

Clan Personality: Despite being smaller than the average shinobi, the Mitsuhaki are fierce and determined warriors. All Mitsuhaki contain a strong sense of honour and justice and most of them dedicate their lives to protecting others. They are a clan designed for fighting and that is where most of them thrive. Outside of the basic qualities they have few traits in common. Their ties are weaker than ever, leaving the ideals of each individual to stray far from each other.

Bloodline Description:

The bloodline of the Mitsuhaki is Sono Megurushi, a.k.a. " The Mark". It's named after the scar that will appear underneath the eye after acquiring the bloodline. The eye's will turn a white colour, due to the fact that they can't see in visible light. A unique dojutsu, the Sono Megurushi allows the user to see in another spectrum - the sentient energy spectrum (SES). It also allows allows for vision in a variety of other spectrums beyond that of any human. With this comes a a host of unique taijutsu designed to compliment the bloodline.

Bloodline limits:

The SES is a unique power that can not be copied by anyone. Essentially the SES allows the user to only see things that are able to have a subconscious, or a personality. This includes people and dogs, but not trees or rocks, or even weapons. The spectrum ranges from indigo to red, not in that order. It is speculated people stronger in the bloodline can see colours not of the spectrum. Personality colours are created in layers, and as the Mitsuhaki grows to know the person more layers and depth of colour can be seen in the person. This allows for immense insight into the person and coupled with high empathy it can become a devastating technique.

In the active state, the Sono Megurushi begins to glow and allows the user to see in the advanced energy spectrum. The user is then able to see in white to black tones all energy forms, including heat and light. The white shades are created from the mixture of thousands of colours a second. Different ranks allows for stronger powers from the eye/s. The bloodline should not be used for an extensive period of time, since the user's vision will become blurry and the bloodline may temporarily defuse. If persisted, the bloodline will completely disappear and the user will be left permanently blind.

First Stage: The user is able to see Advanced Energy Spectrum. Eight different basic rays are visible in shades from grey scale. These colours tend to always glow even the black colours. The power of this stage can be used for extended periods of time through training; typically in the upwards of ten minutes. Essentially this allows them to see anything possible and they can easily see through basic natural abilities of mist, clones, etc.

Second Stage: The second stage allows for a greater range of sight; it increases it by 10%. This stage also allows for the resistance to most visible genjutsu. This does not prevent the jutsu but merely makes diffusing them easier. Finally, the stage makes objects appear translucent if focused on in a particular fashion.

Third Stage: Including the past two stages, this stage increases the sight range to 25% of the original range. It also vastly increases the resistance to visible genjutsu making them mostly invulnerable to such effects. Finally they can make objects change from opaque to transparent at will.

Fourth Stage: The final stage is more of a continuation of the other stages than a full-fledged stage itself. This is the most powerful stage as it includes everything from the first three stages. In addition to that, it allows for 40% increased range in sight. The range for genjutsu resistance includes all forms of genjutsu instead of just visible genjutsu. And finally, four unique spectrums can be seen: The air spectrum, in which moving air currents can be seen in a distinct colour; the water spectrum in which any form of moisture or general water can be seen in a distinct colour; life force, in which anything containing a life force can be seen in a distinct colour; and the final is the greatest. It allows the person to see where everything will be a half second later.

Description: User fools one enemy into seeing a sea of fire, which coats everything around them. The believing of the flames being there is the weak part of the genjutsu (B-rank and up understand they're not there), however, they will still remain opaque. Manipulation of the flames can occur, but a greater chakra output is needed.

Description: With direct eye contact the user blurs the opponents vision. The strength of the blurriness depends on the amount of chakra put into it, however, the range is quite small. The effects are temporary, and begin to dissipate after eye contact is broken.

Name: Nervous System Lock Down
Type: Genjutsu
Rank: S (Kinjutsu)
Requirements:
Description: The user, by simple eye contact, can control the speed of the messages sent from the nervous system. The reflexes are slowed down considerably, but they soon plateau. The user seems inhumanly fast. Once the initial eye contact is made, the connection can be broken and the jutsu will still be in place. This jutsu is so incredibly powerful that after a minute or so it begans to have( aside from the huge chakra drainage ) an odd after effect - The user will began to slow down without realizing it. After a while, their nervous system will be slower than their enemy's. Even after their chakra is emptied, the effects will continue on themselves for quite a time, while the opponent can recover quicker, making for a quick assassination possible.

I'm not really digging some of the effects, they are reminiscent of Byakugan. And I can't really see the downfall. You could just activate it, find the person, and deactivte it so you don't run into trees and trip on rocks...>_>

And what was that bit about the Hirokimi Clan having nothing to boast about? You can't really say another clan is weak, partly because we belong to a different village, so odds are you would have heard very little of us, especially since none of us are from Amegakure...And then you used our name again to define our appearance? We don't have to have light hair...How would you get Hirokimi confused with Mitsuhaki? >_>

Sorry, the first time I made this clan I used that name. Then I realized that was your name, and had to change it, but I guess I forgot to in a few places.

Secondly, I changed the bloodline to have a negative (going blind). It's not exactly that powerful, either. The second stage takes a while to get to, and the dormant stage and the first are quite weak. Chakra points and other such things on the body can't be seen, either, so it really isn't like bakuyagan.

I said it was reminiscent of the Byakugan in that it sees in a different spectrum and can see through things.

And could you explain what an "invisible" genjutsu is?

Also, would you actually be blurring your opponents eyes in the third form? or would you just trick their brain into making it look like you are going faster, thus slowing down their reaction time?

1. Essentially, if they are using clones, they would be visible. Genjutsu which affects the minds without a direct physical form (ie, the one where the user goes in circles) is invisible, therefore unavoidable.

2. Both would occur. The vision would be slightly disorted, and they would seem faster, making the opponents reaction time slower. Sorry for that, didn't mean to make it unclear.

What system do you think controls limb functions? Your keke genkai would be similar to Kabuto's medical jutsu where he slices nerves so that your limbs don't respond properly, only you attack the source- the brain and you're slowing down the electronic signals the it sends out to the limbs.

Not really, but it should go under clan jutsu's, be a high ranking jutsu, and then be draining to the user, or have some other side effect to when it's used (like with Tsukiyomi, Mangekyou users can go blind, only probably nothing as drastic as that)

And the fire manipulation should be put into jutsu form too.
