The trio walked up to the great mansion, shrubery and gardens decorating the outside of the place, tall gates prohibiting entry during times of peril. The gates, however, lay open now, welcoming visitors and townsfolk alike. They walked up to the front door and opened them, the 10 foot tall, 6 inch thick doors moving grudgingly from their usual position.

They moved into the foyer, which was decorated with pictures of past kages and other "famous" ninja from Oto history. It was heavily filled with seats of all kind. Tegatus pointed to a couch with a few chairs by it and said, "Wait." He then left the room in search of the Kage.

Everwill remained silent as he moved his way along with Tegatus. He entered the familiar mansion, which he had been in many a time. Tegatus motioned towards a couch and some chairs, issuing them to wait. Everwill walked over to the couch, yet sat on the floor. He patted the couch for Syra to sit. He was in no mood to talk at the moment. His family was gone. Nobody was left.

Syra walked into the mansion in silence. When Everwill motioned to her, she sat beside him, brooding. It seemed his mood was infectious. She waited patiently, in no hurry to get the business started. She went over in her mind how it would run, trying to find the perfect solution.

Zieg was within his mansion walls, coming form the training room. He was shirtless, with his usual pants on, and a towel wrapped around his neck. Sweat was trinkling down his head, and his hair wasn't wrapped in the back, like how it usually was. Small bruises and some burn marks were shown on his body. Nothing too serious. Zieg had spent the short time training himself, and preparing for the oncoming events of which to happen. He have been having ominous feelings as of late. He wasn't one to believe in such things. However he wasn't one to believe in reality either.

HE walked towards the mansion's front room. He was wiping his face. A shinobi stood by the corridor he was coming from. He had a shirt in hi hands. Or some sort of clothing at least. Zieg grabbed it as he walked by. The man bowed his head, then attended to his duties. Zieg slide the small tank top on, and searched for his cloak, when he realized someone was in the mansion. The same familar prescence as before.

The solemn look on his face explained everything. He walked up to Zieg and bowed, "Otokage-sama, I have retrieved the one you were looking for," his face contorted into a sneer, "and his female counterpart." He stood back up, the sneer gone, replaced with a face so ruthless it was devoid of all happiness, unusual for his character and personality, but Everwill's betrayal was one of the gravest, "They are in the main lobby if you wish to speak with them now," he noticed the sweat and burn marks, "however, if you're practicing your chidori or some fire jutsu, I can make them wait." He turned away from his kage and looked back towards the door that led to the lobby.

Zieg watched Tegatus come in, and explain the situation. Apparently he captured a missing nin as well as Everwill. A female at that. Zieg cocked an eyebrow, wondering if its the girl he first thought. The kage smiled. "Don't worry Teg-san. I'll check it out now. Lets go." Some small blood trinkled down his mouth. He attempted to look at it, moving his eyes towards the trinkling blood. "If I continue to keep training this way I'll end up killing myself." He wiped the blood form his face, and headed towards the main lobby.

Zieg and Tegatus headed down a long series of stairs, towards the front of the mansion. Thats where Tegatus informed him of where the two would be. Zieg headed down, finally reaching the final stair. He looked at the two waiting. Zieg of course knew them both. "Everwill and Syra. Great." Zieg walked up to them both, and bowed slightly. "Good to have you return." He said in an almost seductive and eery tone. He lifted his head, and crossed his arms. "Everwill. I have been told that you'v decided to go on your own path, correct? You never retreated with the rest of the shinobi when we left Konoha. I know now that you didn't die there. Heh. Even when outnumbered the Konoha shinobi can't manage to kill someone."

Everwill rose, and bowed when Zieg and Tegatus entered the room. He refrained from making any sort of eye contact with Teg. "That they can't, Zieg-san." He rose form his bow. "It's also good to see you again. You may want some reasons as to why I left so quickly. I shall reveal them." Everwill pulled off his hood and his robe, and set them on the couch behind him. "You see, Zieg, when you ordered the retreat I fell into a sort of shock. I couldn't believe what had come from yuor mouth. Sure enough, the first thing that came nito my mind was that once again, Oto shinobi would be labelled as cowards. So I stayed. I stayed to create that objection that not all Oto shinobi are bad. I stayed to ensure that this village may soon find some kind of peace with the others, for if word gets around that Oto isn't as bad as they all think it is, things might happen. Good things. However I was too drained to make it back to Otogakure in the average time, and had to wait and rest."

Everwill itched his chest, and took a breath. "When I had returned there was talk amongst the marketplace of a betrayal. They spoke of me. Somehow word had come back to Oto, that I had abandonded the war effort entirely, and gone into hiding. This is when I felt my village had fallen out from under me. So I plummeted, and ventured out into the wilderness to regain my thoughts and feelings on the world." Everwill paced infront of Syra. "I travelled long, Zieg. I travelled far. As far as the Land of Waves, to Iwagakure, to Sunagakure, which is where I met Syra." Everwill motioned to the girl sitting down. "You two already know eachother somehow. That shall remain mystery to me. But in all, This experience has been very enlightening to me. I feel stronger, more aware, wiser. My mind is no longer cluttered. Yet now that I have returned to Sound I do not know. The person I expected the warmest of feelings from has seemingly disowned me, and the village folk still seem to look at me as a different person, not the same Everwill. I am the same. Now if you find those reason's unfit for leaving the village then by all means." Everwill got down upon one knee, and extended his arms to his sides. "Do what you may. I am at peace." He moved his gaze from Zieg's eyes to the ground.

Zieg listened to Everwill explain. It was just as Zieg had figured. Oto's retreat may have caused many to believe they were cowards. He should have known. Zieg simply closed his eyes, and took in Everwill's words, as if Zieg was nothing more than a blind man, waiting for the words of wisdom. Apparently he traveled far and been through much. He could understand, however even through the explination did he not understand why he chose to leave, and travel the lands.

"I suppose I should explain, but first." Zieg opened his eyes, and looked to his shinobi. Tegatus, Everwill, and Syra. He closed his eyes once again, and thought for a moment. He reopened his eyes. "Before I explain I wish to know something." Zieg reached in his pouch, behind his back, and pulled his old shinobi headband, which he fought in from the war. He held it out towards Everwill. "This is my headband. I have had it ever since I was a genin. I want you to see if you can bring yourself to destroy it. Rise form the ground Everwill. I believe I can truely understand you if you make this descision here. Will you destroy the headband or not?"

He stood there, far behind Zieg and the others, leaning against the wall with his eyes intent upon Everwill, who refused to meet his stare. His features were still outwardly cold, but a small sense of pride came over him, In the end...he was a better shinobi than I ever could have been... He shrugged these thoughts away and continued to silently listen to the conversation, But he didn't have to leave when he returned...that's where the line was crossed. Inwardly, he was torn between abandoning Everwill to his own fate, and returning the almost-brotherly love Everwill displayed at the fountain, but in the end, silence won out, Maybe things can change as they most assuredly have already. He propped on leg up onto the wall and crossed his arms over his chest, waiting to see where this would go.

The Otokage's personal medical nin, and the heir to the Itichi throne had traveled through Konoha's forest. Amazingly no shinobi tried to follow them, or Eric attempting to take Reileyn back. Kiyo listened to the spy shinobi that ZIeg often used to gather information. Though Kiyo was a master at gathering information he used his time in different manner than Shu. Kiyo still seemed a bit confused with the issue. Reileyn had ran away from Otogakure, why? Could she have seriously betrayed her brother for a man who she had just met? He wouldn't know. He doesn't know what love is. The closees thing to love he gets is his association to Zieg.

Kiyo had came to the mansion, making sure Reileyn was with him. He sensed Zieg would be there. He headed towardsthe front of the mansion. Apparently Zieg had business with other shinobi, but this was an urgent matter. Kiyo came near Zieg, and kneeled down on one knee. "My lord. Reileyn has been returned. Unfortunately I couldn't find the boy with her anywhere. I figured it would be easier to transport her, if I didn't have him attempting anything while the transport was taking place."
