Zieg and Reileyn: Getting closer to the dreams

Zieg closed his eyes, and thought for a moment. He tried to remember back on the glimpses that he use to have of his mother. Glimpses of him past. His mother was such a beautiful woman. Her long red hair, and crystal clear eyes. Soft, and suple pale skin. It was funny. The memories came to Zieg bits at a time. He couldn't remember her touch.

It was that thought that made Zieg realize, every glimps of his past that he had he never seemed to find the man that remained a shadow. After thinking for a short while Zieg opened his eyes, and drowned the thoughts. He figured he should answer her question, and continue. "Well its only natural that you pick up physical traits from your mother. You look much like her, but you are you, no matter how much like someone you are. Making people realize that should be your priority, if you wished to be viewed as, "Itichi, Reileyn, Sound Kunoichi.""

Zieg approached Reileyn. He kneeled down, and placed his hand on her chin. His thumb touching the top of it, and his fingers under. "I know you won't betray me again, however I don't want it to be because of fear of death. I want you to stay by my side because you wish it. While you rest...." Zieg moved his hand down, and stood back up. "I suppose you should know, I do still intend on killing Hatake, Eric. He has proven that he is a potential threat to me in the future. He worked for me once, during our battle against Konoha. He worked as a spy, along with a woman he once loved. Now that the war is over, and it seems the woman no longer wishes him to be the one she wants he now runs back to Konoha, in hopes of being craddled under the Hokage's arms. He is a coward, and not deserving of the title, "Shinobi." I don't know exactly how you can find love in someone such as that, in such a short time. It had to have been a love strong enough to make you betray your very being. I have accepted the fact you know you made a mistake. Will you make it again? Only time will tell. Words aren't worth much to me. Do you understand?"

Reileyn smiled softly at her brother. She knew his words where of love and sincerity. She also knew that he was trying to show her that he meant business. SHe knew that she looked like her mother in looks. But deep down she was nothing like her mother. Reileyn was her own individual person and she knew she couldn't betray Zieg again or she would risk Eric being killed,I'm sorry Eric.

SHe looked at Zieg and giggled, "Hey Niisan. Like my new hair do?" SHe flipped her hair smiling softly. The long strands hitting her in the face as the short strands flying in back.

A headband fell down into the underground mansion Zieg and Reileyn were in. It was scratched all over the place and a piece of it was even missing. It was Eric Hatakes of Konohas headband. I hope you are happy the figure said as he left.

OOC: This was supposed to take place before Rio went back to Konoha just to let ya know. Its a sign that Erics been killed by an Oto spy.

Zieg sighed. He wasn't at all surprised to see a half broken Konoha headband fallen inside the training room. He had never noticed it there. Zieg walked over towards it, and picked it up. He stared at it. "How droll." Zieg tossed the headband into the darkness of the room.

He looked to Reileyn when she commented on her hair. He simply stared at it. "WHy would you go, and mess with your perfectly good hair?" He placed one of his hands on his waist.

Reileyn frowned when Zieg commented about her hair, "You don't like it do you?" She sighed greatly getting up and standing beside him. She sighed deeply,"So...what is next niisan?" She looked at him. He seemed deep in thought rather then concentrating on her training.

Zieg crossed his arms over his chest, and thought for a minute. "We need to continue the basics. Let us move." Zieg turned, and started walking deeper into the room. Further in the back of it was another training area. There was a large pond near the end. A large body of water, about twelve feet. He looked at it. "Ok. As you see here before us we have some water. Now its possible for a shinobi to walk on it. The purpose is for chakra control training. This however is much more difficult. It may takes about one week to learn. For you I am gonna make you learn it in 24 hours. Let me explain, in order for this to work..."

Zieg walked towards the water. He stopped right in front of it. "Now unlike the tree climbing technique the surface you are trying to stand on isn't solid. It changes constantly, so the amount of chakra you put into your feet must change as well. In order to stay afloat that is." Zieg placed his chakra into his feet, by doing a simple hand seal, and concentrating on his chakra. He sent a small amount to his feet. He walked onto the water. As the ripples came from his feet, and reflected back he continued to change the amount of chakra pushed into his feet to stay afloat. He looked as if he was standing on solid ground. Afterwards the kage turned, and looked. "Now if you're not too busy thinking about your looks, perhaps you can possibly pass this in 24 hours." he gave a quick cock of the eyebrow, and a grin.

Reileyn smirked as her brother gave her the cocky grin of his. She stepped towards the edge and closed her eyes. Taking a deep breath and taking in she sensed energy flowing through her body. Feeling her chakra go to her feet Reileyn opened her eyes. Stepping a couple of feet towards the water, she put one foot on the water and looked at Zieg and smirked. Placing the next foot on the water, she feel straight into the water. Her whole body soaked from head to toe.

Zieg watched Reileyn. She at least got one foot on the water before falling in. He almost thought she would get it right the first time. That was practically impossible, considering she got the hang of the tree climbing technique in a short amount of time. Her chakra should be just about drained.

Zieg chuckled a bit, and released his chakra, allowing him to sink right into the water. He swam towards Reileyn, grabbing her, and swimming back to the surface, holding her in his arms, and kicking his feet, propelling him up, as he used his free arm to cut through some of the water resistance.

He finally gotten to the surface, and jumped up onto the ground. He laid her down on the ground. "Shocking, aye?"

She looked up at Zieg and sighed, "I guess my chakra hasn't quite recovered yet." Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her heart,Eric Hatake! What are you doing?! Why do i feel pain from you? SHe hide the look from her brother. "Zieg I need to meditate to recover my chakra. Give me sometime then I will get right back to walking on water. I promise." She smiled at her brother.

The kage watched Reileyn grip her heart, and she seemed to be in pain. She tried to hide it. As if she could. Not from that man. He stared for a while as she spoke. He merely closed his eyes, and brushed his hand through his wet hair. "Do as you wish."

He turned, and walked over towards a wall, near the edge of the outter body of water. He removed his upper clothing. His shirt was soaked. He tossed it aside, and brushed his hands through his hair once more. He rested his back against the wall, and took a deep breath, and sighed. He lifted his chin.
