Zieg and Reileyn: Getting closer to the dreams

Reileyn crossed her legs in the lotus postion and crossed her arms closing her eyes. Her thoughts went deep, she considered Eric. Did she still love him or was she making a mistake? She knew she had to stay with her brother and stay by his side. She made a vow a long time ago that she wanted to be the next Otokage. She wanted to be the first female Otokage. She maybe like Zieg but in some ways she wasn't. SHe wasn't soft hearted like most women. She had a cold heart and only opened up to people who were her family. Feeling her power grow, she smirked greatly. Opening her eyes she looked across the room at her brother and smiled. She loved him greatly. She always went after anyone he threatned his life. Not only because he was the leader of the village but also because he was the only family she had left.

Zieg opened his eyes, and eyed Reileyn, as she looked at him. Their eyes connected. Zieg simply closed his eyes once more, and lowered his head slightly, in a nodding notion. Perhaps she undertsnad now. Zieg remained quite, and still.

Reileyn got up and walked over to her brother, standing over him she smiled softly, "I'm ready for more." She maybe the oldest genin but she was still learning and wanted to learn more as she could. The chuunin exams were coming up and she needed to learn a lot before the exams started. She sat down beside him and was wondering what was going through his head, "Niisan?"

Zieg opened his eyes, as he heard Reiletn begin to walk towards him. The water dripping from her seemed to have stopped. He watched her as she approached, and asked for more. "I didn't see you master the technique. You know what you should do. I don't have to monitor it. Continue." He crossed his arms, and closed his eyes again.

She nodded and walked back towards the water and closed her eyes, I am an Itichi I can master this. I most make Zieg proud of me. She took a deep breath taking a little bit of chakra to her feet. Controlling it greatly and she opened her eyes. Stepping one foot on the water and she placed another on the water. She standed on the water and looked at Zieg. SHe knew she had accomplished standing on water. But then came the task of walking.

Zieg opened his eyes, and watched her step foot onto the water. She had controled her chakra enough to stand on it a bit, but that was of course easy. The first few steps always were easy. No matter what the task. He waited for the eventual fall, or the unbelievable completion.

Reileyn took a deep breath and took a few more steps on the water. She closed her eyes while walking. But it didn't work, she fell right into the water again, "Grrr...I am useless I can't even walk on water." SHe looked at her brother. He was probably laughing at her. Watching her to see the mistake she made.

Zieg watched her as she tried again. She fell into the water just as before. He didn't expect anything but that. It was a difficult thing to do. Even for Zieg when he was younger. He got it in about four days time. Perhaps he was pushing her too hard, to make her believe she could do it within 24 hours.

He walked towards the water's edge, and crouched down on his toes. He reached his hand out to help Reileyn out of the water. "Perhaps we should rest for the day. You have done enough for now."

Reileyn looked up at him and shook her head, "I know I can try harder, niisan. Just let me try. I'm not some weak genin. I am the sister of Zieg Itichi, the Otokage." She took his hand and stood at the water's edge. Concentrating as hard as she could. She wanted to accomplish this task. She opened her eyes some of her chakra flowing to her feet and she slowly walked onto the water.

Zieg helped Reileyn up and listened to her. She wanted to continue training, even though she was wiped. Zieg grabbed her shoulder, and pulled her back before she could step on the water. He held on to her. "One can drink only but a limited amount of water. Over time they can drink an ocean. Don't be stubborn. You're done for the day. I am amazed you even have any chakra left." Zieg let her go, and stepped back. "If you continue like this you'll end up killing yourself. No one can get good at something in a day. Every flower blooms over time."
