Sasori was pissed that he was a third wheel in this situation, but agreed that it was the best course fo action. Jikota increased his pace to full as Sasori climbed on Ryuzaki's back. "Yes, I use Wind jutsu, and I am pretty good if I do say so myself. I'll watch the rear, just tell me if there are any whirlwinds in our path." He pulled goggles out of a compartment in his pack. He had grabbed a pair quick before they left and thrown them in his pack just in case this happened.

Then Jikota spoke as they ran. "Sasori-san, I hope you're as good as I think you are, because I don't see us leaving this storm behind, even at full pace, and I can already see a few small twisters off to the side."

occ: lol i didnt exspect you to fight it. the dessert has severla cave's and such that suna shinobi would know about.

Ic: the dust devil's were becoming more and more intense throwing sand this way and that and then disappearing randomly over the cooling dessert sand. the wind was increasing in strength. in the distance the sky seemed to darken and more shadow's to appear.

(I know, but sitting around in a cave is boring. I'd much rather try to do something exciting. Also, it's 'Desert' not 'Dessert'.)

"Maybe so, but I'm not about to delay the mission because of a freak sandstorm." Ryuzaki then slowed down and backed into Sasori for him to jump onto his back. "Now hang on tight... I'd hate for you to fall off and get hurt." Once Sasori got on, he bolted off at full speed, trying to outrun the storm. If and whenever he saw Jikota lagging behind, he slowed down a bit to let him catch up. "Sasori, don't think little of yourself just because you're riding on my back. What you lack in speed, I'm sure you'll make up for it in skill and power."

Sasori was still pissed at being so slow, but the damn jounin was right. "Oh, crap!" he yelled at the top of his lungs. He jumped off and took out his fan. "There's a huge one coming right for us from behind, and it's fast. I have to stop it." Jikota had stopped a little farther up, noticing Sasori had jumped off.

Sasori pulled all the mental focus he could and swung the fan, releasing as much chakra into the wind as he could. Ten times he did this, slowing and shrinking the twister each time, and finally dispersing it on the tenth. He was exhausted now. The amount of chakra he had used had been staggering, and controlling the fan while doing so had been doubly so. He dropped to one knee to rest a bit, and he could see mixed looks of wonder and disgust on Jikota's face.

Ryuzaki braked and went back for Sasori. "Are you alright? Why didn't you just stay on my back? It would have been easier..." He then picked up Sasori and put him back on his back and took off as fast as he could go. "Well, that could have gone better... say, I have an idea? Why don't we try explosives? The sudden expansion of gases caused by the explosion should cancel out the low pressure core of the twisters and thus cause the twisters to disperse... the problem is that the explosive tags are paper, and couldn't make close to the center. Anyone else got ideas?"

OOC: Very clever Ryu. Trying to get me to reveal my bloodline, eh? I guess is Air makes any more twisters I won't have any choice since I won't have enough chakra to do the wind thing.

IC: Sasori heard the remark and question, and he knew if any more large twisters came, he would have to be prepared.

"Even attaching a note to a kunai or shuriken wouldn't work, as the wind would blow it off target and make it harmless. I have an idea that might work, but you'll have to trust me, since I can't tell you the idea."

He stuck his hand inside his pack for the second item he had grabbed from a shop on the way out: a small bag of clay. He did the math and physics calculations in his head, and determined how much chakra it would take to cancel anything big and fast enough to pose a threat to them. Jikota saw him reach his hand in, and knew he had gotten clay, but there's no way he could have guess what for.

Sosori made sure the hand was completely concealed, and surreptitiosly wiggles the wrappings loose. He'd have to keep his hand in the bag until nobody was looking or forced to take it out. He molded chakra into the clay his hand sucked in and formed it into three birds that vaguely looked as if they were made using origami. It would take less chakra in total if he made three weaker birds.

Jikota watched as he did this, curious as to what his colleague was doing inside the pack. Still, he said nothing about the clay for the simple reason that the issue had not come up. He would of course tell Ryuzaki if the subject ever came up.

OOC: RPing two characters at once is harder than I thought it would be.

Ryuzaki was sorta lying about that, for Sasori's dagger was rather suspusious, but he didn't have much choice. It was either trust that he had a way to stop the twisters or pray that the twisters don't kill them. So Ryuzaki continued to run across the desert, trying to outrun the twisters.

(Yes, I was trying to make you reveal your bloodline, but I was mainly thinking of a better way to get rid of the twisters, and the explosives was the best thing I could think of that would make sense... so it was either me using Shadow Sewing to put the tags inside the twisters or you using your exploding clay. Also, if you get tired of RPing as Jikota, I can take over for a while.)

OOC: I'll manage. But if it gets to the point where I can't think of anything new, i'll let ya take over. And true, you could have tried Shadow Sewing, but the shadows move slow and you have to be stationary to do it. My "ability" is the best chance we have.

IC: Jikota noticed the tone of Ryuzaki's voice when he said the part about no reason not to trust Sasori. It was subtle, but it was there. Unfortunately for Sasori, he himself was too focused on creating the birds to catch any meaning beyond the words.

"Alright then. My plan is almost ready. Give me another minute or two and I can eliminate any twister that comes our way." This was a lie, though he hid it well. He actually had six already made, and was working on three more. The origami style should throw even Ryuzaki off unless he paid very close attention to their composition. Unless you looked at them close up, you could not tell the difference.

Jikota looked a bit anxious. The winds were getting stronger, and there were twisters in the distance. One could form anywhere at any time.

(Actually, The shadow moves pretty quickly, otherwise, it wouldn't be an effective jutsu, now would it? but true, I do have to be stationary to use it most of my Shadow jutsu, and I know that it's the best shot we have... I call it dumb luck.)

Ryuzaki kept running, worried more about staying alive than trying to learn the secrets of his allies. If they all lived through this, he can figure it out then. "Good, I'd hate to run all this way only to be killed by a twister." Off in the distance, Ryuzaki could vagely make out the color green on the horizon, meaning that there were nearing the edge of the desert.

OCC: just cause Im a jerk and feel like making sasori waist a bunch of chakra.

Ic: (RANDOM EVENT) Sudenly the Twister's stoped along with the wind and everything seemed to return to normal as if the passing storm of sand had disipated. the Tempature started to slowly rise again and the hot sun was beating down on the three shinobi once more.
