OOC: *scoffs at air*

IC: Saspri was amazed that the winds had died off so suddenly and the storm stopped, but though ti was a rare occurrence, it was not unheard of. Jikota was equally surprised, though he too had heard of these freak storms.

"Hmmm... looks like we won't be needing my plan after all," Sasori said as he quickly pulled the wrappings back over the mouth. He had spat out the birds inside the pack, and they could be summoned out if needed for something else. He left the pack open just enough for this.

Meanwhile, Jikota was looking curiously and suspiciously at the pack and at what Sasori was doing. He suspected that there was something different about his colleague, but he just couldn't put his finger on it. He dismissed it and got back to concentrating on running.

Ryuzaki kept running, though he slowed down since they were in no immediate danger. "I guess not... man, that wore me out... but I guess we should be thankful, for all this running knocked off at least a good 15 minutes of our trip time, and if we keep up this pace here, we'll should get to Konoha at about noonish on the third day... maybe."

OOC: You can take over Jikota. I'm having a brain fart with new ideas.

IC: Sasori was pleased that they would make it faster now, and didn't even care that he had to ride on this bastard's back. He was content to watch the scenery pass, but if he ddin't find something entertaining soon, he would have to reveal his ability and have some fun with nature. Something in his gut told him he could trust this arrogant jounin to keep his secret, at least from everyone but the Kazekage, whom he was sure already knew.

Jikota saw that Sasori wasn't happy about Ryuzaki carrying him. "Hey Nara, How about you let Sasori down now?" Ryuzaki chuckled and replied "Who's stopping him from jumping off? I'm not... and if you does want off, all you have to do is ask... I'm not exactly fond of carrying him away, he weighs quite a bit more than I thought he would.... but we are traveling along at a faster pace with me carrying him, so I can live with it." The two of them continued running thru the desert, with the green on the horizon growing with each passing second.
