Ukyo made his way to the Land of Waves, to the inn where he encountered Sol, that self-taught, yet very strong fighter. I still don't understand why do you want to find that guy. He beat you pretty bad the last time. Let's stop being stupid and go back to Kirigakure. I have to agree. Are you sure you can beat him? He is very strong... I have grown stronger myself since our last meeting. But that doesn't really matter all that much, since I do not plan on fighting him. You don't? Why are you looking for him then? Elementary. I want him to train me. You... what?! Are you sure he's going to train you? He didn't seem to like you... Yeah, well... maybe after a repeat match he will recognize my powers and consider my request. Okay, but... why would you want him to train you anyway? His skill with a blade isn't all that great... yours is better, actually. I know, but it's his taijutsu techniques I want. They are just what I need to make up for the lack of strength. I see... yes, those moves were quite impressive. But, I doubt he will teach you. Well, it never hurts to try. It will if he decides to just beat the crap out of you...
Even though the chuunin realized that the blades were most likely right, he didn't reconsider. His sword skills were quite impressive, but taijutsu is a must have for any shinobi. Besides, there are times when using a blade is out of the question, like when you're having a friendly spar or training with somebody... wouldn't want to kill anyone accidentally. Nah, that'd be fun to see. Especially if that girl Lita finally decides she wants to train with you... heh, don't be mad, I'm just kidding. Well, guess what? I am not amused. Jeez, some people just can't take a joke...
Speaking to his sentient swords like this, Ukyo reached his destination seemingly quickly. Yeah... it's nice to have someone to talk to during the long journeys... When he entered the building, several heads turned in his direction, eying him carefully. He decided to just ignore it as he made his way to the bar stand. Excuse me, I'm looking for someone who was here a few days ago, and probably later. He has brown spiky hair with a long ponytail, wears a dark brown shirt with a red leather vest over it and a pair of light beige pants and is quite muscular. Oh, do you mean Sol? He's a famous bounty hunter in these parts... why, you have a request for him? Need someone dead? - the bartender said, winking, and then broke into laughter. He must consider his words a good joke... what a lame jackass. Yeah... sort of.
But when the man noticed the Konoha emblem on Ukyo's sleeve, his face changed from the happy and careless expression to a gloomy and serious one. So, you're a ninja, huh? - after these words, several people in the inn got up and walked closer to the chuunin, while one of them quickly ran out of the building. Looks like we're in trouble... and that little one must have gone for reinforcements. Yeah, - continued the bartender, - Several shinobi villages put a price on Sol's head... a missing-nin, that's what they called him. Those cocky assholes... and you've come after him, too? Some guts you have, coming to this place and asking where to find him. Especially since there was a bounty put on your head, too. Six hundred thousands ryo, by Slayer-san. Must really want you dead, eh? - with these words the bartender exited the building through the back door, leaving the chuunin to deal with half a dozen bounty hunters. The Konoha shinobi turned around and looked at them. I have no intention of fighting you. Let me pass, and noone gets hurt, - he said, putting his hands on the swords' hilts. _________________

OOC: I feel ignored... but, here goes the second piece of the story
Ukyo's phrase caused nothing but laughter from the crowd. Oh, he doesn't want to hurt us. - The bounty is as good as ours! Several cheers could be heard as the bounty hunters came a few steps closer to the chuunin. Fighting many opponents in a confined space like this will be hard. I know, hopefully these guys aren't strong. Things look pretty bad... I need to get outside. If only something would distract them... Ukyo's wish came true as one of the bounty hunters, the biggest one of all, said: Why would I have to share the bounty? It's mine alone. Objections? - he looked at the others menacingly. Like hell I'll give my six hundred thousands to the likes of you, fatass! - Yeah, let's get him! - Yeah, let's do it! - Who dared to call me fat?! Well, teamwork isn't one of their finer points... Who cares... this is my chance!
Ukyo rushed towards the crowd. Some of the bounty hunters noticed his move and attacked. He ducked under the swing of a large club, jumped to the right, avoiding a katana, and ran for the door, showing aside one of the bounty hunters. I think I made... The relatively small bounty hunter, who ran out the door earlier, was standing right outside the inn, with two short swords in his hands. He swung one of them horizontally, and Ukyo had to bend backwards to dodge. The second attack was meant to finish him off - it was a downward thrust, aimed at the chuunin's heart.
The bounty hunter's eyes went wide as the ninja slid from underneath his blade. Ukyo regained his standing position a few feet away from the man and instantly turned around. A small pile of blue hair, which was laying at the bounty hunter's feet, made him realize just how close he was to dying. Wow... that was too close... How did you escape? The Chakra Slide technique... it saved me, but just barely. This guy... is strong. _________________

OOC: so it seems... just a heads up: there are more than a dozen total is it okay if I post all the ones I typed so far in a row?
I have to say, you're pretty good for a bounty hunter. A bounty hunter? Please. I am a noble samurai, not like the rest of these... bandits. A samurai, huh... and your shogun must be the shining ryo? Don't try to insult me. I serve directly under Slayer-sama. The man who put the bounty on my head... well, that's convenient. You're gonna tell me all about him. You're optimistic, I'll give you that. Hey you, peasants, - this was addressed to the bounty hunters, who finally appeared outside the inn, - Two million ryo to the one who captures this ninja alive. Hey, who the hell are you to call us "peasants"?! - Quite, you idiot, he's one of Slayer's men! - Who cares, he offered us good money, I'm in!
Things are getting better and better... now we have to deal with a bunch of bounty hunters and a formidably strong samurai. Yeah... I think I'll kill the hunters first, so that they don't get in the way. Besides, I need to torture the samurai to get information out of him. You really are optimistic. So what? Do you suggest I give up? No thanks. Chill out, we're not your enemy.
Gentlemen, I need to "talk" to this here samurai. Stay out of my way, and nobody will get hurt. Two million ryo or your lives - the choice is yours, - said Ukyo, readying his swords, - This is your last warning. I don't think it'll convince them... - doubted Tsuki, and she was right: none of the bounty hunters left. What a pity... I really didn't want to kill anybody. What's that? Getting soft are we? Compassion isn't the same as weakness. True, but all of them are bandits. They kill innocent people for money. They aren't worth your mercy. Well then, - said Ukyo, looking around the bunch of bounty hunters, - hurry up and come!
OOC: also, I was sort of hoping to obtain my newly created bloodline by this thread, but it might take a while before it gets approved... _________________

OOC: ok. just a warning - I have some mild language in some of these...
IC: Ukyo stood against the seven bounty hunters and the samurai. He held his swords in an awkward position, so that the blades were leaning against his arms. He was looking at the ground in front of him, his long blue hair hiding his face from the crowd. Well then, - he said, looking up at the people who were his enemies right now, - hurry up and come! Several worried looks was the only response he got. Lowly scum... they are too greedy to just give up the money, but too scared to fight for it. Everybody is waiting for someone else to make the first move. Pathetic. Yeah... somewhy, I'm glad that Sol isn't at all like them. Maybe it's just because he's considerably stronger... No, something tells me that, somewhere deep within, he is a good person. Um... is that really important right now? We've got quite a number of opponents here... Right, but they're all chicken. Maybe I myself should just attack already.
He was about to make a step forward when one of the bounty hunters, the large one, snapped. You think you're so tough 'cause you're a ninja?! You think I'm afraid of you?! Like hell I am! I'll grind you to dust! - he cried out and charged at Ukyo. He's just trying to convince himself he isn't scared. Yeah, I know. That's the spirit... but his dead body only costs six hundred thousands instead of the two millions for his living body. Keep that in mind. It was rather hard to tell if the message reached the large man's mind, as he kept running towards the ninja with a mad glint in his eyes, slowly bringing his giant club up for a devastating attack. That glow in his eyes... it's the courage of a cornered dog. He's as good as dead. You two can stop telling me things I already know.
As the large bounty hunter came closer, he swung his giant club in an attempt to crush the chuunin. It was a dangerous attack - for another untrained bandit like the giant himself. Ukyo stepped aside in a lazy manner, letting the club hit the ground beside him. A quick slash of his swords rendered the bounty hunter unarmed as the two blades easily cut the club's handle. He then quickly hit the large man on the head with a hilt, effectively knocking him out. The ninja let his form collapse to the ground before he turned to the other bounty hunters. This is just a warning. The next one who attacks me won't get away with a mere knock out. I advise you leave now before anybody gets really hurt.
The small crowd backed away a bit. I think I might not have to kill them after all. Damn, I really wanted to cut these bastards to pieces. Remember, this guy is worth two million ryo. Think about it. You won't ever have to worry about money again. The mentioning of money seemed to have a magical effect on the bounty hunters' morale, as they once again moved towards Ukyo. Damn it... this guy is really making me mad now. Money is a common bait for such people... it must be already subconscious that they are willing to do anything for money. How pathetic. Poor fools... Listen, - Ukyo sighed, - I have no personal grudge against any of you. All I want is to get some information out of that cowardly samurai who is hiding behind your backs. Please, leave. It's the earning of two milling ryo or facing Slayer-sama's wrath. The choice is yours. After these words, all the bounty hunters began advancing towards Ukyo. There was no confidence in their eyes, only fear and lust for gold. This Slayer guy must be somewhat scary... it's his wrath that made them decide to attack you. I'll get to him eventually... So, you are going to fight... I'm afraid I have no choice then...
Ukyo charged at the group of six bounty hunters. His speed was far too great for them to react in time and defend themselves. He used the full potential of the Chakra Slide and Death Trail techniques. You seemed not to want to kill them, but now you're determined not to let them escape. Why is that? They had their chance to leave. Now, it's too late to make that decision. One should be able to make the right decisions at the right time. If he isn't... he won't live long. A quick slash - and the first bounty hunter started falling over, blood fountaining from the large wound in his side. The second one died instantly as Dark Sun was driven through his skull, and the third followed as soon as Silver Moon pierced through his left lung and cut his heart in two. Wow... those are quite violent ways to kill people. Not violent. Efficient. The fourth enemy wasn't lucky enough to gain a quick death - Ukyo cut off his left arm at the shoulder. All this carnage happened in mere seconds, but it was enough for the remaining two bounty hunters to realize just how dead they were. They turned around, dropping their weapons, and tried to make a run for it. But Ukyo was much faster - he stepped in between the two, and beheaded both of them with one wide motion, causing fountains of blood to pour from their necks. I'm most impressed. You killed them all so efficiently, yet spectacular. Wow, sis, I can almost see you drooling over him. Yeah... wait, what?! Oh, shut up!
The sound of clapping interrupted the blades' dialog and Ukyo's thoughts. Not bad, not bad at all. Such violence... I would never expect it from you, with your pretty face. Slayer-sama was right about you, you really are special. This man, Slayer, who is he? What does he want with me? More importantly, what does he know about me? Now, now, you didn't expect me to answer your questions after you would defeat these thugs, did you? You will have to fight me first. If you lose, I will take you to Slayer-sama and the need for questions will be no more. If you win, I will tell you everything you want to know. Do you plan on buying your life that way? Some loyal samurai you are. Stop trying to insult me, it's useless. Those were the direct orders of Slayer-sama, and I will follow them perfectly. I see. Well, shall we begin?
I believe we shall, - said the samurai calmly, and then jumped towards Ukyo, making a cross-slash with his swords. He's pretty fast... but not half as fast as that guy, Sol. Yeah... and slower than me as well. The important thing is not to kill him before I get those answers... Ukyo jumped back, spinning in the air, leaving a complicated pattern of chakra trails in the air. He noticed the surprised expression on the samurai's face. To him it was just a pointless maneuver with useless special effects, but he put his swords in front just in case. He had no idea what this technique was, yet he took precautions. He is experienced. I already know that! Tell me something useful. I see..., - said the man, as he examined the dents on his short swords, - A very interesting and dangerous technique. This match will be a good one. Stop being excited, you're gonna lose. Don't be so sure, - said the samurai with a smile and formed a hand seal. A bright flash blinded Ukyo for several seconds, and when he regained his vision, his opponent was nowhere to be seen.
Hey, looking for someone? - the man's voice could be heard from behind. Ukyo quickly turned around, ducking and slashing at the place where his opponent was supposed to be - only to see clear air in front of himself. What? But he was... Over here, - this time the voice came from above. Ukyo jumped to the side, and tried to find his opponent, but once again, couldn't. What is going on here? Wait... this is a genjutsu! Why didn't you two warn me at once? But it's not. What? Whatever this technique is, it's not a genjutsu. But I can't even see him, it has to be! Ukyo formed the required hand seal and said: Kai! - but nothing happened. Very amusing. So you know how to dispel genjutsu. Unfortunately for you, it's not a genjutsu. It's my special nijutsu. I call it the Invisibility Cloak. A fitting name huh? - the voice came from somewhere close by. He's in front of me, and close... - thought Ukyo as he slashed at the air, hoping if not to hit the samurai, but to prevent a possible attack. However, his efforts didn't pay off, as a hard kick to his ribs made him fall to the ground.
Ukyo quickly rolled over and got on his feet, only to be thrown back by an uppercut. At least his strength can't be compared to Sol's... that guy's uppercut would send you flipping through the air. You're not helping! We're trying to figure out his weakness, but... it's the first time we've encountered something like this! Yeah, well... Ukyo's thoughts were interrupted by a series of punches from the side. Damn it... his attacks might not be very powerful, but there is a lot of them and I can't guard at all! He is going to wear me out like this pretty soon... Ukyo started moving around the place randomly, hoping to make it harder for the samurai to attack. It helped, but not much, as the barrage of attacks kept hitting Ukyo.
Ukyo kept running and jumping about the field, but that wasn't enough to prevent the samurai from attacking. Damn it, how are we supposed to fight him if he's invisible?! Calm down, sis. Maybe we should just ask him that. This isn't the time for jokes you moron! No, that's exactly what we need! You mean jokes? No! Ask him... I could hear his voice before, and he gave away his own weakness. Really? When, how? He said his technique was called "Invisibility Cloak". That means he is invisible, but I can still hear him! Hey, you're right! Now you just need to find a quite place where moving around makes a bit of noise... and concentrate enough to coordinate by sound alone, of course. The inn seems like a good choice, don't you think?
After yet another attack that made him lose balance, Ukyo was finally able to get to the building's door and slip inside. Running for cover, are we? You gave up pretty quick, - said the samurai from somewhere outside. I hope he doesn't realize I figured out his weakness... The chuunin's hopes came true as the samurai's voice came ever closer. Hey, are you gonna sit there forever now? Come on, I'm not gonna leave, if that's what you're counting on. I'm under orders from Slayer-sama to bring you with me, and I'm not about to fail. I think he just came inside, - though Ukyo, as he could hear the wooden floor creak a bit. You do realize that I'm gonna find you, don't you? And inside this place, there's nowhere to run. You've already lost, admit it and come peacefully. Ukyo breathed as silently as he could. He was hiding behind one of the larger tables, a place where he could freely attack in any direction, thanks to the Chakra Slide jutsu. He's getting closer to the bar stand... he's standing right beside it! I know! Stop telling me things I know, alright?! Come out come out wherever you are... - hummed the samurai. It was his last mistake.
Judging from the sound of footsteps, voice and his intuition, Ukyo was able to guess where and in what pose was the man standing. I must do it in one move... if I fail, then he'll realize my plan and... I'll lose. The chuunin readied his swords and quickly pushed himself forward with his hands, sliding along the floor. It creaked a few times and must have alerted the samurai, but it was too late. Ukyo made an upward cross-slash with his swords at where he calculated the man was standing. A splash of blood and an agonizing cry reassured him in his success. He jumped to his feet, just in case, but that was not unnecessary. The samurai's technique was wearing off - he could see the man's silhouette on the floor, and in a few second, his whole figure appeared.
Taiyou whistled when the samurai's whole body finally became visible. You seem to have a talent in inflicting severe pain on people... You've gotta be kidding me... did you intend to cut him... there? No... in case you forgot, I couldn't even see him. The samurai was rolling on the floor, screaming like mad. He had all the reasons to do that - he was holding his hands, covered in blood, over his groin. Yeah... that's one lucky strike, - Taiyou broke into laughter. I don't know why... but I feel kinda guilty... Don't worry. He can still talk... well, he should be able to in about an hour or so... you can just rest in the meantime... Yeah, but I need some peace and quite to do that, - replied Ukyo, as he searched the inn for several pieces of cloth. One of them he tied around the man's hips, - I don't want him to die because of blood loss, the cut seems pretty bad, - and the other he stuck in his mouth, - I need him to be quite to rest. Hey, I just got an idea! Yeah, what is it? From now on, I'm gonna address you as "The Great Circumciser"! Oh, shut up.
It took the samurai about one and half an hour to regain his calm to the point where he could speak. Well it's about time... I've been dying of boredom. Ukyo helped the man obtain a sitting position. Even though the latter didn't seem in any condition to move, the ninja still threw the two short swords out the window. You can never be too careful, especially if you are a shinobi. The chuunin sat beside the samurai and handed him a bottle of sake, which he "borrowed" from the bar.
Thanks... I guess my technique backfired quite a bit, huh? Sorry about that... though it doesn't seem like anything a good med-nin can't fix. Yeah, I guess. And don't be sorry - I was your enemy, and you're supposed to kill your enemies. I know, but I decided that I don't want to kill any more than necessary. Besides, you had many chances to kill me, but you didn't. Really? And the bounty hunters... They were scum, and they didn't take their chance to leave. That's true... I guess you have some questions for me now, huh? But before you begin, can I just ask you why did you want to find Sol? Sure. I wanted him to train me in taijutsu. I see... well, that would be quite impossible, for you see, Sol... doesn't like any kind of ninja. It must be something from the past... Well, never mind that. What I really want to know is, who is Slayer? What does he want with me? And what does he know about me?
The samurai sighed and slowly reached for something hidden within his clothes. Ukyo jumped back, putting his blades on guard, but it wasn't necessary - the wounded man pulled out a badge, with a complicated pattern of red and black drawn on it. Here, - he said, - Take the road east from this inn, and you'll end up at a large post town. Find a place called "The Vampire Lair", make your way to the back of the building and show this badge to the guards there. They will take you to see Slayer-sama. Then, all your questions will be answered. Okay, thank you. I assume you're not coming with me? No, I'll head to Kirigakure to find some med-nin... I see... I must say, this is not exactly what I was hoping for, but it's okay, I guess... Farewell then, my enemy.

OOC: exactly
The road east couldn't really be called a road. It was more of a path, which winded through the plains and the nearby forest. It was quite a complicated route, and Ukyo realized that the only thing that kept him from getting lost was that there was only one way to go. He walked through the forest for several hours, getting more and more assured in that cutting through the forest would be much faster, if only he knew in which direction he needed to go.
When the chuunin finally emerged from the forest, the Sun has already set, but, fortunately, he found himself standing at a post town's gates. It was... bright and noisy. This must be the place. Really? But that guy told us to look for a place called "The Vampire Lair", and this town is all shiny and cheery! Well, he didn't say it was supposed to be dark and scary. That's right. I guess I'll continue looking for it tomorrow, once I have rested. Ukyo didn't have to worry about money, since he emptied the register of that inn, but he still chose a humble hotel to stay the night. I'll have plenty left for food and another night at a hotel if I'll have to stay...
The night passed without any surprises. Having finished his breakfast, Ukyo asked for directions at the information table in the hotel. "The Vampire Lair"? Go two blocks left once you leave the hotel, and then turn right to the Main Square, - replied the woman who was sitting there, - You will find it easily from there... but aren't you a little young to go to that place? Ukyo didn't bother asking whatever did she mean as he thanked her and left the building. You're a bit young for that place, huh? I wonder what could that place be then... Don't even dream about that. Huh? Whatever do you mean, sister? Don't play innocent with me, you pervert! Pervert? Me? No, how could you say such a thing!
Ukyo followed the woman's instructions and soon ended up on a large square, which was ironically round. He saw "The Vampire Lair" right away - it was a large casino across the square from him. So, this Slayer guy must be some kind of a crime lord. So, that's why she said you were too young... damn... What's wrong? Oh, nothing, nothing. Hmph. Pervert. What?! Okay, cut it out you two. But she started...! Just stop it, okay?! We might be walking straight into a trap.
The chuunin walked up to the casino. It was a large, three-story building, with it's back wall submerged into a steep hill. As soon as he approached the door, two large men in black suits stepped in between him and the door. Sorry, you must have gotten the wrong address, boy. You need to be twenty-one or older to enter the casino. Yeah, I know, but I'm here to meet with Slayer. What? Is that a person? Never heard that name before. I see... perhaps this will refresh your memory? - asked Ukyo, as he pulled out the badge that was given to him by the defeated samurai. It might, - said one of the guys quietly, and opened the door a bit for Ukyo to enter, - Go straight past the slots and take the stairs to the second floor. There will be an "employees only" door. Go through it and show this badge to the guys there. Got it. Thank you.
Ukyo followed the guards' instructions precisely, and was soon facing another pair of muscular black suits wearing people. He showed them the badge, and they led him through the large steel door behind them. When he entered, he was breath taken. It was a large hall, magnificently decorated in purple tones, with a gold chandelier. Many of the decorations were also made partially of gold or silver. This place is too large to fit inside the casino building. This hall was built within the hill I saw from outside, - realized the chuunin. Wow... this is... this hall... it couldn't belong to just any crime lord, it's so rich... He must have more money than the Fire Country's Feudal Lord! Yes, this is... quite impressive...
The ninja continued on his was through the hall, and when he crossed about a half of it, another man came walking towards him, only this one was wearing a formal black kimono, instead of the suits the guards wore. Well, he also looks much more intelligent than those muscle heads... must be a servant. The kimono wearing guy stopped right in front of Ukyo, and slowly walked around the ninja, eying him disapprovingly. Well, how typical of you ninja to come here with your dirty everyday clothes. Er... what? Seriously, do you expect Slayer-sama to like this? - he pointed at Ukyo, giving him a "isn't it obvious?" look. Well... I expected thugs attacking me from every direction, or this Slayer guy meeting me in person, but something like this... Oh well, what can you do... some primitives just can't value good clothing, can they. Excuse me? Alright, I will. Now follow me, let's get you washed up and changed into something... appropriate. If you go to Slayer-sama looking like this, it'll probably get you killed... it will get me killed for sure, and that I cannot allow. Come now! Um... yeah... I agree... Huh? I can't understand a thing either. Same here... this is just... weird, to say the least. Ukyo followed the man, trying to figure out just what was going on.
The blue-haired ninja followed the man through the "Underhill Palace", as Taiyou called it. The place was lit by thousands of dim candle-imitating light bulbs, but all the decorations were in dark colors, except for the gold and silver parts, so it was still rather dark. Ukyo looked at the floor - it was all pure marble, with a rich bordeaux rug running along the corridor. The doors which they passed were made of the finest woods, and looked perfectly fitting the marble walls. The only thing Ukyo didn't like were the dark colors. While everything looked great in general, there was some kind of pressuring atmosphere in the place.
Here we are, - said the strange man, stopping at one of the doors, opening it and gesturing for Ukyo to enter. The chuunin did so, and found himself standing inside a rather big room. The floor, walls and ceiling were made of marble of different shades of blue. It seemed to be designed specifically to match the color of Ukyo's hair and clothing. Wow... this is a large bathroom. It's... it's... perfect! Oh, brother... get ready for a crazy "girl's-excitement-over-nothing" session... Excuse me, um... What? Oh, I'm sorry, where are my manners! I didn't even introduce myself, silly me... My name is Yamato. Now, was there something you wanted to ask? Uh... nice to meet you, Yamato-san... but what exactly am I doing here? What? Weren't you going to meet Slayer-sama? No, I meant "here" as "in this room". Oh, that! Well, it's simple. As you can see, this is a bathroom. You will find everything you might need on these shelves, - said Yamato, pointing to the many shelves filled with different kinds of beauty products and such things, - The change of clothes is in the wardrobe right here. You have an hour to make yourself look respectable. In case you finish early, push this button and I take you to Slayer-sama, - said the servant and left the room.
Make myself look respectable? What is that supposed to mean? Just look in the mirror and you'll see. Ukyo did just that and realized that Tsuki had a point. His once white kimono was now a bit yellow, with dirt marks all over it, the kindoji was torn in a few places, and his hair looked just horrible. No wonder, after the "haircut" that samurai gave me... It took the ninja about twenty minutes to get ready. The clothes in the wardrobe were exactly like his, but of darker colors. He even knows what clothes size I wear... that's just plain freaky. But when Yamato came, he could only sigh. Oh my God, you ninja... what do they teach you in your villages anyway? No-no, don't answer. Well, I can't let you go like this. I mean... look at your hair! The man quickly looked around, and then grabbed a nearby chair and placed it by the sink. Sit down, I'll have to fix up your hair. Ukyo followed Yamato's instructions. The chuunin wasn't really against having a haircut - he was rather fond of his hair. It didn't take long, as the servant seemed to be an expert hairdresser. After having finished with Ukyo's hair, the man also made the ninja use some kind of a rich perfume.
Well, you're good to go, - said Yamato, looking at the chuunin and obviously satisfied with the results of his work. Ukyo gave a sigh of relief - every time he thought he was done, the man would find some kind of flaw in how he looked. It must have taken over two hours in total. Come now, let's not make Slayer-sama wait any longer, - the crime lord's servant almost ran out of the bathroom, motioning for Ukyo to follow. This is strange, isn't it? It sure is... all of this "making me look respectable"... I think ten more minutes in there and I would have died. That's not what I meant! He didn't say anything about you having weapons. Oh, hey, you're right! I didn't even realize that... I wonder why would he allow you to have weapons, when he made such a fuss about the way you looked. I guess we'll just have to find that out.
The ninja followed Yamato through the corridor and back to the large hall where he entered, and then to a door in its far side. The room behind this door must be quite deep within the hill. The servant slowly opened the door, entered, announced: Slayer-sama, Tachibana Ukyo-san has arrived, - and then left, closing the door behind him and leaving the chuunin alone with the casino's owner. The room was dark, the only source of light being the burning fireplace and two candles on a coffee table between two large armchairs. The armchairs were facing the fireplace, and a silhouette of someone sitting in one of them could be seen from the door. Ukyo remained silent and in his place, waiting for Slayer to speak. But when it happened, Ukyo was most surprised. Welcome to my humble abode, Ukyo-kun.

OOC: wow, with the BB-codes and all, this training is almost 50k(!!!) characters. and there's at least 5k more to come
Welcome to my humble abode, Ukyo-kun, - said a deep female voice. Maybe you got the wrong door? No, I don't think so... Well, are you going to stand there for long? Come here and make yourself comfortable, - said the woman, pointing to the vacant armchair. Ukyo did so in a stupefied state. What is going on? Is she that Slayer? I thought Slayer was a man... I thought he wanted me dead, or at least captured for reasons unknown. No, the reasons are qite obvious. You possess a rare and most interesting bloodline limit, and personally, I thought that was what they were after. Seems I was wrong though... Ukyo sat down in the armchair and looked at the woman with the deep voice. She was of about twenty-seven years old, as Ukyo thought. Her eyes were rather big and had a beautiful purple color, her hair were blue-black, she had a very elegant nose and ears, and her portrait was finished with a small mouth with full lips. I don't get it, I expected to find some kind of an aged male crime lord here, but instead... I found this... beautiful young woman. Just what is going on here? Beautiful, yeah... nicely shaped, too... Ukyo moved his sight away from the woman's face and realized what Taiyou meant. Slayer was wearing a long evening dress made of purple silk, with some silver and gems for accessories. The dress had a low decollete, and didn't cover that much of her back or legs either, balancing on the verge of indecency. Even though Ukyo didn't quite like such clothing, he had to admit that the young woman had nothing to be ashamed of. Ashamed of?! What the hell... she's totally hot! Shut up, okay?
The chuunin hadn't payed attention to it, but as he "spoke" with the sentient swords Slayer's facial expression changed from amusement to surprise. Well, you must be surprised to find out that Slayer is really a young woman, and not an aged man? Yes... yes, I quite am. But that really doesn't matter at all! What matters is... I know, what do I want with you and how do I know so much about you. I guess I'll start with the latter. Well, actually, the reason is quite simple - I had my men watching you for years now. They learned practically everything there was to learn about you - what you eat, what you drink, what you like, what you don't, how you train, how you act, even how you think... and then they told me. I see you are speechless right now. It's okay, it's to be expected when you are suddenly told that you were spied on your whole life. Yeah... but, why? That is another good question, and the answer to it is basically the same as the answer to the question about what is it I want with you. Okay, then, tell me. Impatient, aren't we... let's have a little drink while we're at it, - said the woman and pulled an almost invisible string, which was hanging by her armchair. About half a minute after that, the servant from before, Yamato, entered the room with a bottle of liquor and two finely ornamented glasses. Without saying a word, he put the glasses on the coffee table, poured the liquor and then left without the bottle. Slayer took one of the glasses and tasted the drink. Mm, I just love this one... you should try it, Ukyo-kun. It's the finest plum liquor you'll ever find, and my personal favorite, too. Thanks, but no. How about you tell me what were your reasons for watching me and bringing me here? The woman smiled. You young people are always in such a hurry to live... fine, I will tell you everything now.
The woman slowly finished her glass of liquor before she started speaking. Being an Ozanaru as you are, you have most likely read the history of the clan. I am talking about the origin of it, the long forgotten priestess and demon, who fell in love. The couple was exiled and started traveling around the world, grouping with others like them, until there was a lot of them and they finally settled down. It is believed that the Ozanaru are descendants of those people and demons, which is actually true. But an unknown fact is that the first son of the two founders of the "Amethyst Crusaders" was different from the other children. He was clever enough to realize that he should hide that fact, and when he grew up, he left the island. He traveled to the far west, settled down there and became a very rich and powerful person. That man was my grandfather. Her grandfather... wait, her grandfather?! But... that was hundreds of years ago! I can see you are quite surprised by this fact. Yes, he was my grandfather. Allow me to continue and explain... after traveling west, my grandfather adopted a new last name, and was from then on known as count Dracula, since there were only a few people he knew him by his first name. He lived there for over ninety years, and then disappeared without a trail. I think it was rather wise on his side, since living among people for ninety years looking like thirty for all that time is very suspicious, and he left right before people would start hunting him. An intelligent man he was.
However, he left his two sons in that place, which both took after their father in his... being special. Unfortunately, they did not take after him in smarts at all. My uncle was a ridiculously kind and cheerful person, while my father was pretty stupid and very jealous of his brother's happy life. They never were like true brothers - they would always have fights over nothing, and while my uncle was very upset about this fact, my father only hated him more after each time. At last, my father, whose name was Kain by the way, killed his brother in an intoxicated state. Since both of them were well-known and powerful people, the incident was covered up by the authorities, but it still changed my father dramatically. Having realized his awful crime, he started spending a lot of money helping the needy, supporting the crippled and homeless, building better children's homes and things like that. He also changed his last name to Bachiatari, which means "Cursed", because he decided he was no longer worthy of the name Dracula. However, in his limitless kindness and generosity, he forgot about common sense. I was born about five hundred and fifty years after my uncle's death. The church had an unexpected rise of power around that time, and when they found out that my father had lived for over about six hundred years, they instantly claimed him as "devil spawn" and "Antichrist". However, ordinary people didn't care about that much as long as he kept committing such acts of good will. It took the church about twenty years to become powerful enough to destroy my father.
The woman sighed, but continued, pain and sadness clear in her voice. And so they did. A large group of people from the newly formed part of the church, the Inquisition, came into our manor one night. They slaughtered all our servants and tried to capture me. I killed aver a dozen of them, but there was too many, and I had to run. But my father... he didn't even try to protect himself... he calmly endured as they beat him and then took him away... I was there when they "exorcised" him... in disguise of course... they crucified him, and then, when they were finished listing his "infinite sins", they burned him... but he didn't scream. When he saw me, he instantly recognized me, and only gave me a guilty smile. He didn't scream, and his face was so peaceful... but the worst part was, the people in that square... they proclaimed he was a saint, some even decided he was the second incarnation of their most important saint, since he did only good in his life and yet it was ended almost the same way. When the inquisition heard that, they... it was a massacre. Everybody who didn't run away was slaughtered, and it was said that these people were "seduced by the devil". The church and the Inquisition became so powerful, even the most powerful of aristocracy were afraid of them... having nowhere to go and nobody to go to, I ran to the far east, as I later found out, the land of my ancestors... it was not until later that I found out that I had relatives in other western countries, or rather, I had had them before they were killed by the Inquisition.
Ukyo looked at the woman, and realized she had tears in her eyes. She noticed him looking at her, and quickly wiped her eyes and tried to smile. Well, look at me... a grown up, crying like a baby at old memories... anyway, you must have a lot of questions for me. Let me answer them right away. First, of course Slayer isn't my real name. My name is Rera Bachiatari, and you can just call me Rera. Second, I told you we were different, we were ones who people called "vampires". Yes, the stories are quite true, thought we were never evil, and no, unfortunately, I am not twenty-seven years old, but one hundred and sixty two. Yes, we vampires can live this long, actually, we can live for thousands of years... a pity that humans won't let us though... and I'm about to explain why I wanted to meet you and told you all of this... How did she...? And I knew what you were thinking because I am reading your mind, and it's also quite obvious, actually. Reading my...? Yes, I am. We vampires have the ability to do that. Now, please stop the flow of questions. Now that I have finished with my story, let's get to the matters at hand. In particular, what do I want with you.
Rera got up from the armchair and walked over to the fireplace, standing in front of it, her back turned to Ukyo. Wow, she's really nicely shaped... Oh, shut up already! Yeah, I'll second that. Hm, yes, an interesting thing it is. Sometimes you just think phrases as if you were talking to somebody. What is that? Don't tell her. I wasn't going to. Ah, I see... your sentient blades. Surprised? Even though you thought you weren't going to tell me, that means that somewhere in your mind you thought you weren't going to tell me that you have sentient swords, and I read that thought. Simple, isn't it? And yes, there's nothing you can hide from me, I can read through your mind, not just the things you are thinking at the moment. I already know that you like a girl named Lita and you hate her teammate, Kite, and that there's a person you highly respect, the head of the Ozanaru clan named Syra. Okay, would you mind stopping this?! It's not nice to just... do things like that. Oh, sorry, I got a bit carried away... now, about what I want with you... you see, in the many decades of my life, I started feeling lonely. I wanted to have someone to... interact with. But not just anybody, otherwise I could talk to my servants, though I know they're quite afraid of me, but somebody like me, another vampire, who is close to being immortal by human standards. Okay... but, what does that have to do with me? I am not a vampire... Ukyo didn't like where this was going.
I know you're not. You see, about thirteen years ago, I... well, details are unimportant... what matters is, about twelve years ago, I gave birth to a girl. However, I wanted her to have a happy childhood of a human, so I gave her for adoption to a sweet couple. It was good enough for me to know that my daughter would be safe and happy, and when she would grow up, I would reveal her true nature. But something went wrong, didn't it? Yes. The village where she lived was destroyed and everyone was slaughtered. Almost everyone... a small girl was hidden and survived the attack. I know this, because I can feel she is alive, but I do not know where... I tried to establish a telepathic link with her, that's another of our abilities, but it seems as though something is blocking hers... So, you want me to find your daughter? Is that it? But then, what was the need for all that? Putting bounty on my head for example? And why me? You could just hire some shinobi or a private detective... Sharp as ever, Ukyo-kun. True, finding my daughter isn't the only thing I want from you. I mentioned in the very beginning that you are an Ozanaru, and that vampires and the demon clan members are closely connected, even though the latter don't know that. Let me put this straight - I want you to become a vampire.
