Arekkusu said a bit confused but sure that his answer would get him the response needed. At this moment, he didn't fancy being alone, and would suffice it with this man who seemed to be depressed more then he could understand.

Arekkusu said as the winds stopped squalling. He looked at the man with a bit of hate but a sense of admiration. For some reason he could tell this man has done things deeper then what he had said long before and probably hid them to keep him from further knowing all about him. The truw challenge now was to see what he could do and what world he can transcend to from his already fading one.

He swatted lazily at a fly that buzzed about his head. These seemed to be the only living things that survived in the desert. Blood thought them to be disgusting creatures and should be burned; that was his former prestigous self talking. He sooned turned back into the present, reality and found that the child has asked him for his name.

" I am Cardinal Blood. I'd prefer to be called Blood." His voice carried an overhanging threat. No one was to speak of his first name save for the Blood family. It was tradition and even though he was exiled he still remained a part of that tradition. His mood darkened despite the blinding light and burning desert. The brooding of the past always brought upon a darker side of him. No matter how much he wished he could never escape his past. That was his curse.

Arekkusu studied him for a moment. There was something in him bubbling up and burning. He wanted to ask why but he knew he'd be pushing it too far if he did. But his "innocence", as Blood put it, had tempted him to do it regardless of the consequence that came. He took a deep breath as another blast of wind took course and looked at the man.

"Why only Blood? Don't you have another... more realistic name? Blood seems a bit... like it's fabricated as to hide behind the dislike of one's real given name. Unless it really is blood then it's rather odd."

Blood regarded him darkly before replying slowly. He knew that a child like him would be curious and it would be best to end this quickly. He opened his mouth but no sound came out at first. He was choosing his words carefully for some reason he could not comprehend. He himself didn't understand that the memories hurt him more than anyone else.

" I am from the Blood family so I am called Blood. There is nothing else to it. I have been called something else in the past but it is not my true name. Not my true birthright." He dropped it at that and gave an air that seemed to threaten Arrakusu if he dared to ask more.

Arekkusu looked down rather hurt in the tone and air of what Blood had said. In having to deal with him, he had to confront more Demons then he need to and more obstacles then ever. He had come to quickly regret being in Blood's presence and wanted to shun him. However, he was alone and probably on the verge of being hunted. This man would have to be his lifeline if anything.

"I'm sorry. I'm being loose tongued. Just wanted... to know you better I guess. It won't happen again. And I won't promise or swear. I'm human, I make mistakes. Like we all do. Wherever you're headed to, allow me to accompany you."

Arekkusu kept his head down.

I will make the last of my time dedicated for you to start a new life. In return you have to bring me faith..." He watched the sun turn brighter yet less strong as it dipped deeper downwards into the pit of unseen.
