The desert sun burned her skin as she was walking through the endless sands. Thirst was getting the best of her, but she knew that they had to conserve water. The path from Sunagakure to this damned place was a long one, and they still needed to make it back, while there was no telling what laid in wait for them ahead. Rosu corrected the robe she took to protect herself from the sun and sighed. According to the map, they were almost there. That was relief, in a way. She was relieved that soon, they will get away from this merciless scorching fireball that was the sun. On the other hand, who could have told what peril awaited them? She calmed herself with the thought that whatever was to happen, she could do something about it, unlike the sun.
The entrance was hidden in a sand dune, the same as all the other ones around. The only reason Rosu did not miss it was because she was warned to be very careful about the distance they should go. A sand-colored double door opened to a staircase, leading them down, underneath the sands. The air was moist there, which in contrast with the arid air above made it seem like heaven. But she knew better than to enjoy being here. This place was the root of all of their lives' suffering. This is the place where it all began... Rosu shook her head, getting rid of the apparition. This wasn't the time to be air-headed.
The stairs led them to an absolutely white hall, with two corridors going in the opposite directions. There were arrows, showing that one way, to the left, led to "section A-B" and the other one, to the right, led to "section C". What those sections were, Rosu hadn't the slightest idea, but it seemed like fate was leading the two girls right now. Your call, left or right? _________________

Saya grimaced at the sun as she walked along side her sister, Rosu, in the heat of the desert. Sunagakure was nothing but a speck in the horizon behind them now. Saya licked her chapped lips, feeling the rough and rugged edges of her rosy red lips. Saya frowned and wetted them with her saliva so that they were soft. She reached inside of her cloak and reached into a small pouch tucked against her arm. She rummaged around until she found a small round object which she twisted to open. Inside was a special mixture of bees wax and honey. She dabbed her middle finger inside and swirled it around her lips. The taste was sweet, and would preserve her lips so that they would not crack and bleed from the harsh sun. She smacked her lips and replaced the small container, knowing that Rosu would not take it.
Saya smiled light and pulled the hood over her head to resist the sun's glare on the back of her neck. She sighed and followed Rosu until standing at the base of a hill. She stared inside as her hand wrapped firmly around her sword's handle. She looked over at her sister before the doors spread open, releasing a spray of cool air that pushed against her face like the breeze coming in from the ocean. Memories began to flood her concious. Scenes of the past. Men in white robes with surgeon face masks. The mold infested rooms. The various devices that caused her pain, and the times that she cried at night because she could not get to her sister who was just on the other side of what seemed to be an impenetrable wall.
With a jerk back reality, she felt the tears burning red hot behind her eyes. She could not stop that lone tear from making its trek down the side of her face, lost to the sands of the desert. Saya made no attempt to hide the hatred and loath for this place, and merely followed behind her sister, silent and secretly, afraid of this place. It retained her true past. All the horrible emotions and anger that she had so long ignored seemed to boil just under the surface. She shuddered at the feeling of such loathing for a place. Despite the fact that she knew she had killed the head developer of the research labs, she knew she would never allow someone else to go through what she did.
As they neared a wall leading to two different directions, Saya stared at the arrows pointing at sections A-B, and the arrow pointing at the lone C section. Saya stared at her sister and stared at the lone C section. Something about it made Saya feel uneasy, as if something lay in wait for her. She felt her mouth go dry as she stared down the dark hallway. She knew that she would have to confront whatever was down that hallway in order to get over the fear that made her heart skip a beat and her mouth go dry with apprehension. Without even looking back at her sister, Saya took a step forward and held her sword by her sword, slowly drawing it from its scabbard, "I will go this way." It was the only words she said before running down the hallway, away from Rosu to confront whatever it was that was hidnering her conciousness. _________________

Rosu did not say anything, simply nodding in response to her sister. Something felt wrong, something about the way Saya was acting. The girl looked past her sister in the direction of the "section C" corridor and shrugged. It radiated something... something that could be called evil to a certain degree. She look at Saya, worried, and saw her sister was somehow being drawn to it. This made Rosu nervous, and she was about to stop her sister when she noticed that the corridor leading towards section C seemed somewhat partially abandoned. The plants standing there were sickly-looking, and some of the lights were missing. She decided that Saya would be better off to the less occupied area in her current state. There was also the matter of the corridor scaring Rosu, but she wouldn't admit that even to herself. Trying not to think about it, she made her way through the left corridor.
The whole place was brightly lit, and all the floor, walls and ceiling were completely white. It was an awful contrast with the dark deeds that were being done there. The monstrous experiments, the dark cramp cells of the subjects, the cold-blooded scientists - it seemed that none of that could exist within these walls of white. There were even pot plants at places, and the colorful beverages and snacks machines made this place look almost hospitable. This only made the truth look far worse, however. Rosu shook her head, throwing these unwanted thoughts out of her head. She needed to concentrate on the now and here.
She was walking for less than a minute before the corridor started winding and breaking up into a large confusing network. The place was insanely unorganized for an outsider - strange signs drawn on walls everywhere, some corridors having a dead end for no apparent reason, some rooms having half a dozen of different exits while the others only had one. The place was like a hive. Rosu thought about it and realized it was another security measure. No doubt the signs were meaningful for the workers in this place, and the crazy outlay was meant to prevent intruders from entering vital areas, or too keep prisoners from escaping. Luckily, Rosu was an intelligent girl. She soon figured out the way those signs worked, and realized that there was only one passage that led deeper into the compound, while all the others led to dead ends or kept circling about. The area taken by this "hive" was not that large either, but due to everything looking the same around here, one might think that they were walking in one direction for hours, while in fact they were wondering through the same several halls. Having figured this out, Rosu decided to leave a note to Saya, should she come this way. She left an arrow at each intersection, pointing in the direction one should head.
While having gotten through the labyrinth, Rosu was starting to get confused. What exactly were they doing here? What were they going to do? Kill everyone in this place? That would be very hard to pull off, and even with every scientist here slain, who can guarantee that the place won't get started up again? Destroying it would seem like an answer, but neither of the girls has the means to obliterated a large underground facility. There could be something down here that would allow them to blow it up, but even if that would happen, who could guarantee that the facility wouldn't be rebuilt somewhere else? And even in case they killed all researchers and destroyed the place, would that really stop what was happening here? Maybe the cause of this evil were not the people in this place. Surely, they had to be scum to agree to work in such a place, but they might have their reasons, or they might be lied to. Thinking like this, Rosu started to doubt if they could do anything about this place. Did they need to kill the higher-ups from Sunagakure? An impossible task, but even if they could do that, who could guarantee that there wouldn't be more people like that? No, stop. If I keep thinking like that, my resolve will vanish... and then, I could as well kill myself... even if we can't stop this completely, we must try and save everyone we can... that's right... we're not doing this for revenge, we're doing this to save people. _________________

Saya felt fear grip her heart. She swallowed the bile that threatened to escape from her body and looked back. Rosu was already walking away and was no bigger than a dark blotch in the corridors. She shook her head, steeling herself so that she could make some progress forward. Saya stared foward and her grip tightened hard around the handle of her sword, knuckles turning white from the struggle, 'I can't stop...not now. Something is calling me.' Saya sighed, the feeling of deep inside of her chest. Her heart felt barren as it pumped. The sound was like a drum in her ear as she continued to walk forward, sword ready to be used should she be attacked.
She saw no reason for this at all though. Around her were dried and withered plants growing from the wall. Various lights were out and cast intimidating shadows around the hallway. Some lights were only, but dangling by the wires out over Saya's head. She stared at the crumbled and broken fractions of brick that were torn from the walls or destroyed. She looked down at her feet and saw something dark red. She stopped and crouched down and stared at the feet imprints. The way they moved were as if someone was running with a frenzy. She stared down and felt along the edge of the footprint. As if a trigger had gone off, Saya's memories flared and she was running down a bright corridor. The smell of blood fresh in the air, a red haze covering her eyes, she looked down to see her hands covered in smeared blood, her feet making patter sounds as they connected with the ground.
Saya jerked and yelled out a scream of terror. She felt her heart throbbing at a break neck pace. She placed her left hand over her heart, gripping the cloak in an attempt to alleviate herself from remembering that horror again. She knew that all too well and why she remembered it, she would never know. She slowly stood up, walking down the corridor, following the way the bloodied footprints came from. She eventually found out that there was a ninety degree turn to her left. On the right the wall in the middle was a concentrated area around where a deep mass of cracks centered around a man's height. She reached over and touched the cracks. Once more, memories triggered and once again she was running down a hallway, frenzy and anger burning red hot. A man stood in front of her, blocking her path. She would not be denied. That was the man who made her blood boil to the turning point. That was the man this rage was for. She felt the the bones crack under her impact. The satisfying feeling. Eyes connecting as the white glaze of death took the man who had so long tortured her.
Saya jolted back, falling down on her bottom as she stared at the wall in silent shock. She could not even scream as loud as she could. She wanted to scream. She wanted Rosu by her side. She wanted even Ukyo. She wanted Kaeor. The tears of fear fell down her cheeks as she kicked away from the wall, "Anyone...save me...someone save me!" her voice was but a whisper as she heard a laugh down the hallway she had come, "Is that an intruder I see down there? Do I get to kill someone today? Maybe a little fun first." Saya stared as the man walked closer. His white lab coat covered in blood. His head and hair drenched in dry blood and his back was hunched over. When he smiled, his teeth were blood stained and made Saya's mind tug to run, but her limps stood planted to the ground. His lips moving ever so slowly, but his voice rang clear in her ears, "Whats the matter? Its like you have seen a ghost."
Saya screamed louder than when she had recovered from the first experience. She stood and ran, blindly as fast as she could. Her heart raced in terror as she ran, sword in hand as she ran from the past and the man behind her. She ran from the pain of remembering, and the hatred towards that man who had so highly terrified her. She ran to find someplace to hide, to escape. But she found nothing but empty rooms with nothing to help her escape. She felt the tears fall down her cheeks, blurring her vision as she ran to try and escape the reality of it all. As she ran, the hard rasp of Sadoku's laughing filled her ears. That bone chilling laugh that could set anyone's blood to ice. She screamed once more, running until her lungs burn with the exertion and she ran to a dead end. In a desperate attempt to find a way out, she stared at the door in front of her and did not even hesitate, "Elemental Fist! Volcanic Viper!" Her fist crackled with electricity as she punched hard, harder than she had ever tried to before. She thrust as much chakra as she could into the jutsu, and with that single punch, the steel door in front of Saya buckled under the impact, the rusted hinges snapping like twigs and the door flew back almost five yards from Saya's location. She ran inside of the room and stared around. The room was deserted as to be expected. In the center of the room sat a glass case. The case seemed to be filled with a liquid. In the center there appeared to be what one would say was a guantlet. Saya stared in front of her and stared backwards. Sadoku's apparition was gone. She was alone, staring at the guantlet floating in the small tank.
Saya walked towards the small case, a hidden insentive to touch the case, to come into the guantlet overpowered everything else. She slowly found herself moving towards the glass case. The call became stronger, like a buzzing in her head, the demand to take the weapon. The pure need to take the weapon. It was impossible to resist. She felt her hand touch the cool exterior of the case, against the edge of the top. She murmured something incomprehensible, even to herself and the glass shattered. In that small instance, a warning alarm went off from within the room. Reinforced doors slammed behind Saya. The door she had come from was replaced by a six inches worth of solid steel. A door to her right was reinforced as well, and the walls seemed to open, revealing what appeared to be puppets.
It all happened so fast, she did not realize that her hand had connected with the guantlet. She stood, hand placed on whatever the thing in front of her was. One second, alarms were ringing and blaring, the next, Saya could not remember what had happened. All she could gleam was the shaking of the complex. Dust and various object flying around as if a twister had entered the room. Her mind was overwhelmed by a new presence, and she felt it connect with her deep down to her very core. There was something else there. Something she was unfamiliar with, but at the same time, it felt like it belonged for some reason. Then all else dimmed out, and her conciousness faded during the time she was being bonded. In reality, she was standing there as the Mikougake connected with her, deep down to her very soul. The transformation was taking place while the entire complex shook with the power being released. _________________

Had Rosu heard Saya's screams, she would have rushed back, for better or worse. However, the walls of this place seemed to damper all sounds. Even with that, the rumbling was easily noticeable. What's going on? Is this place going to come down on our heads? Still, she couldn't let her resolve wither. Resolve was everything right now. Without it, she would end up dying a stupid, pointless death. Ukyo-sensei always taught her that such a deed is the worst one can manage. If your resolve weakens, you have already lost. Even if you can't find a good reason for doing something, but you feel it must be done, persuade yourself you want to do it, and strengthen your resolve by your wish, - she remembered him saying. She did not quite understand the logic of his words, but she felt there was wisdom behind them. If you do not understand an advice, but you trust the person who gave it, follow it, and discover the meaning behind it, - was another of his lessons. And she was going to do just that.
Rosu did not have much time to keep thinking about philosophical matters though. She soon entered the populated area of the facility, and she had to use all of her skills to avoid being detected. There was going to be a massacre - it was unavoidable - but the girl wanted to postpone it as much as possible. Even so, continuing onward was impossible. There were people everywhere, some of them were obviously ninja guards, and there was no telling if there was a jounin among them. In any case, she would have to be smart about this, slowly taking out the guards one by one... it was common sense that there were no weaklings here. It was time to prove that she was a true assassin of the Mist, silent and deadly...
Well, well, well. What have we here? A young shinobi girl sneaking into the facility... for what purpose? Rosu froze as a male voice came from behind her. She jerked around, taking out her dagger and thrusting it towards the enemy, only to be stopped. One of the man's hands caught her arm while the other grabbed her throat and lifted her. The world has gone dark for a few moments, until his grip on her neck loosened a bit. I don't know who you are and what you're doing here, but you picked the wrong place to sneak about. The kunoichi barely heard him as a chaos of thoughts swirled around in her head. How did this man get behind her without her noticing? The answer was pretty clear - this was obviously a ninja of a jounin rank.
It was like the nightmare has begun all over again - she was tied up, led through the white corridors guarded by two men, checked out by scientists, and finally locked up in a white room, with seemingly fragile laminated walls and a six-inch steel door. She heard them talking outside: they realized who she was, and were already planning new experiments to do with her. Rosu had gone into a frenzy like a cornered animal., crashing her body against the walls and the door, trying to break free. It was futile. After about five minutes, she just sat on the floor, crushed by her defeat. She had lost, she was captured, she would live through the nightmare again... but this time, it was even worse. She was no longer a defenseless little girl... But... I couldn't do anything... nothing at all... so this is how it ends... in the end, I'm nothing but a subject for experiments... She wanted to cry but her tears ran dry with the horror that engulfed her. She kept on mumbling illegible words, until the terror overcame her and she began hallucinating.
She saw past self from aside, and Saya by her side. She was always protecting her... by herself, Rosu wouldn't have survived through that hell. She was always protected by her sister. She would only cry day after day, while Saya kept her spirit up. It was Saya who tried and broke out of this place... Rosu was nothing more than a burden on her sister the whole time. Drops of blood started coming out of her left eye, but no tears came from her right. It was the end. The only way to save herself from the nightmare was to kill herself. She stood up and reached for the secret dagger hidden in her boot. She was about to pierce her throat when she was slapped by someone's hand. She looked angrily at the interferer only to find Ukyo. He stood there, like it was his place to be. Something seemed different about him though, something seemed... darker, eviler. His voice was also not quite like his usual one.
What, are you just going to kill yourself? You think that's a solution? You stupid bitch! - he cried out and hit her once again. She fell on her back, dropping her dagger and looking at her sensei terrified. You can't be here... I'm hallucinating... Shut up! Pathetic critter. To end your own life is no better than losing it uselessly. You are a vampire! A higher being! Will you just let these pathetic humans bring you to an end?! How stupid! Leave me alone... you're not real! Who are you to judge it, worm?! Get back on your feet, damn you! - he shouted, jerking the girl upwards. It felt like he did it without effort at all, and Rosu wondered where did he get such strength. Ukyo spoke once again, but this time he was whispering. There is a power deep inside you... unleash it! If you see no other way than to die here, at least be sure to take as many of them with you as you can. The illusion then vanished, leaving Rosu shaking on her feet. A power... inside me...? Just as she was about to think that she was so scared she started hallucinating, he felt something surge within. It felt dark... it felt evil... it felt... like power. As she recognized this feeling, a pillar of black fire consumed her, and when it was gone, she was no longer herself. She felt her ears becoming long and pointy, her teeth becoming large and sharp like daggers, a pair of small horns growing out of her head, and her wings, which have only recently appeared, grew and became stronger. She looked at the shiny surface of a wall and saw her reflection. She was no longer herself... or rather, she was now her true self. She gave a wicked smile and walked towards the door. _________________

Saya heard no sound come to her ears. She could see, but nothing came to her. It was like an explosion has knocked out her sense of hearing, and all she could see through was a hazy blurred room. Shadows crowded around her and she could make the thin white shapes of flying paper. It all seemed to die down. Slowly, a ringing came from inside of her ear. The pitch of the ringing began to intensify and Saya felt like her ear drums were going to explode from the pressure. She was about to collapse from the ringing when her sense were restored to her. She could smell the rushing winds and musty wet odor of mildew on the rock. She could hear the raging storm circulate through the entire room, her hair being blow thrown around as it followed the current. She could taste the crisp air that rushed to her lungs, carrying the life giving gas through her body. And the last and most intense feeling began to etch the chapter into her mind. It started out as a small itch and slowly transformed into pure agony.
Saya yelled in pain and her blurred eyes found her right arm. Even with her vision, she could see the red glow eminating from her wrist. What would appear to be a large scar circling around the area of where the red glow eminated from. She could feal the burn as it dug its way through her arm. The pain was so intense, but she could not feel the grips of unconciousness or even something so small as a black out. It caused Saya to fall to her knees and pull against her body and cradle her arm against her chest. It helped none, as the burning continued to stretch across her arm. The red glow eminating more as Saya felt aware of something around her. From the pain, she opened her eyes to search the room. The ground had stopped shaking and the room had returned to normal save for the fact that papers and various small objects littered the room.
As her head turned to the right, Saya saw the puppet like guards emerge from the opened spaces in the wall. They creaked and rattled as joints began to settle into place and arms with weapons rose into the air. Four of them in all began to walk towards Saya with blades raised high into the air. Since she was in the middle, Saya continued to look around as the four advanced. The pain so intense that she could not move. The red glowing began to emerge even more, and she could feel something stir within her body. She tried to move her legs, to try and stand, to try and do something, but it was almost as if she was paralyzed. Saya felt tears beginning to streak down her face, 'Move!' She tried again, and all she got in response was a small wobble from her leg. The pain once more intensified. Saya felt desperation dig in and she began to thrash against her own body, as if she were trying to break the bonds of her own make. She tried again to command her body, 'MOVE!'
The puppets came closer until all four were surrounding their target. Weapons held high, they took another step forward, positioning themselves to stab and kill their enemy. Saya gazed at them. All the fear she had just felt disappeared as the pain exploded to her entire body. She could no longer register any thought. Not even that her life was about to end. She almost wished it would end so that the pain would leave her. But it was not to be. The red glowing from her arm began to spread out, not as a red light, but a black armor type that spread along her arm, centering around a red jewel that based itself on Saya's wrist. The black armor spread along her entire body. It left nothing to the imagination of anyone would were to see her. It clung to her every curve perfectly. The armor ripped all clothes that were worn, away, leaving nothing but the armor itself. The armor left a few things bare. Her stomach where any could see her tucked in belly button and flat toned stomach. A wide dip around her shoulders barely hidding her clevage and exposing her neck and head. Thin green stripes spread from underneath the armor along Saya's neck and to her eyes; it gave the appearance that green tears fell from her eyes. Her eyes themselves shifted from their green appearance to an amber glowing appearance. Along her right arm, a blade extended itself from the armor. Smaller blades were along the tips of her toes, knee, and shoulders.
As the puppets thrust down at their targets, all four swords pointing down to cut a portion of their prey, a loud metal clang was heard through the room. Saya's arm moved almost deliberatly on its own. The blade extending from her right arm, holding against the puppets blades. Instead of Saya's arm shaking as one would expect from four opponents pushing against her, the puppets arms struggled to push harder against the arm stopping them from their objective. Saya's closed eyes burst open and without so much as a warning, she pushed up so hard that the puppets were thrown back five feet from their earlier position. As if possessed, Saya stood up on her own her eyes filled with nothing. A blank stare adourned her face. Slowly as if with great care not to cause much movement, her head twisted once towards her left, looking at the two puppets, then back to her right to look at the other two.
The only thing to acknowledge the puppets was a hiss of disappointment before a Saya crouched slightly and a labored breath left her throat. Almost as if she was sexually aroused, letting a soft moan escape her lips. her breathing was shallow and deep. She smiled, breathing to contain her pounding heart, "Come on big boys. Show this bad girl what you can do." Almost as if complying with her demands, the puppets all rose their weapons and rushed forward at the same time. Saya merely looked at them in disappointment, "Too slow." As the swords came falling down, Saya once dodged forward and landed on her left foot. She pivoted as soon as he feet contacted the ground, twisting her body to the left. The blade along her forearm extended to a full lengthed sword and the sound of splintering wood rattled through the small room.
The seemingly intoxicated Saya began to laugh, as the puppet reered back away from the attacker. Its chest cavity opened up, revealing kunai attached to launchers. The deadly weapons sprung forth towards the armored kunoichi. Where once Saya stood once instance, was replaced with nothing but the ground she stood on. She dodged to the right and flipped once into a crouching position on the ground. She set her footing up much like a sprinter and her tongue slithered across her lips, "Come on big boy. You can't please a girl with toys like those." Saya sprung forward, moving so fast to anyone watching her body would be nothing but a blur. Before her target could react, Saya's blade was down between its leg joints. With very little resistance, Saya's blade ducked down and slashed up. She stood and stared at the three puppets behind her. The puppet she had attack now rose its undamaged left arm into the air, a blade protruding from the cavity on its wrist. As it was about to strike down on Saya's neck and back, the puppet fell apart in two pieces where a blade had cut clean through the middle.
Saya rose her right arm into the arm and licked it, the pleasure of the fight in her eyes, "I hope you three can please me better than him." Saya's laugh was filled with malicious glee. Her eyes stared with hunger, for pleasure or for pain it was unknown. Saya used her superior speed to gain the advatage of the puppets. The second to fall to her blade tried in a futile manner to cut into her armor. The blade managed to connect with Saya's left bicep. She merely smirked at the puppet and grasped the sword in her left hand, "Now now, you could hurt someone with something like this." With a jerk, Saya broke the sword in half and slashed the air, cutting at an angle, slicing clean threw her opponent from the lower right side to the upper left shoulder plate. Saya felt and heard to clang from behind as another blade connected against her back horizontally. Saya sniffed in annoyance and back flipped over the blade, reaching out with her left hand to grab the puppet's arm to help her recover her balance, and slashing down threw the puppets arm, then decapitating the puppet with little effort.
Saya stood disappointed, her eyes searching for the last puppet who was blocking the door in front of her, "Only one of you left? I barely got started. I guess I will have to find other more satisfying prey." Saya rushed so fast that the blade that tried to cut at her head was broken by the armor upon her left arm. She pinned her last opponent against the steel door that attempted to keep Saya within. The sword pierced the puppet and the door. Saya leaned her head forward and listened to the puppet that had no way of stopping her, "Now to find my other prey." Saya was about to withdraw when she heard a click come from within the puppet's chest cavity. She stared at the puppet and before any reaction could be made, the puppet detonated the various explosive tags stored within its body.
The blast threw Saya hard against the wall. The armor fully protecting her. Dust filled the room and burn marks etched against the ground. Chunks of wall and floor fell and cracked from the explosion. Saya was deeply embedded against the wall. The force exerted from the force unable to destroy Saya's body had enough force to crash her against the far wall where the remaning energy of the push was released into the wall where she had landed. Saya fell to the floor on both of her feet and stared at the center of the explosion where nothing of the puppet remained. There was a cut along her right cheek where wood had chipped her face. Instead of blood, a clear liquid seeped from the wound. Saya whiped her cheek and stared at the clear liquid and licked her finger before staring at the wall, "What a rush! I can't wait for more!" Saya began to walk towards the door that had caved against the blast. The henges connecting it to the wall had given way and it fell backwards with the slightest push into the hallway. A mass of dust flowed from the room and out towards the draft of air that flowed from the rest of the complex. It shadowed Saya, as she emerged, as well as caused the shinobi waiting for the battle to calm before they made their entrance stir restlessly as they waited for the dust to clear.

Someone should have killed the architect of this place, - thought Rosu, when the massive steel door fell down after a few good kicks. While it was thick and heavy, the hinges were nowhere nearly strong enough to support its weight properly. Or maybe I'm just lucky... wait, what the heck happened here?! She noticed the scorched walls of the corridor the room opened to. She looked back and noticed that the door she just kicked out was melted in places. Her confusion broke overwhelmed her lust for blood, and she reverted back to her human form. What the hell?! It's like a huge explosion happened in here... but I didn't hear anything... and... just what the hell happened to this place?! It's as if I was in that room for days...
Rosu strolled through the empty and devastated halls of the facility, trying to figure out what happened and what she should do next. She investigated the place, only to find devastation everywhere. However, she was able to pick up the trail of destruction as she noticed that one hallway still had flames burning in it. She followed down it, the signs of destruction becoming fresher as she advanced. Finally, she stumbled onto a near-dead ninja guard. It was the same jounin who caught her before, but she could feel no hatred towards the man in his current state. He looked up as she came closer. It's you... the one I captured... get out of here, kid... save yourself... The girl did not hurry to run though, instead she knelt beside the injured man. What happened here? We... were attacked... he brought fire and death... we were ordered to retreat to the inner chambers, but... I didn't make it... Who is he? He? I... don't know. Probably the devil... himself. He left nobody alive... You're still alive. Ugh... true... but not for long...
With those words, the man rolled over. He was previously lying in a pile of debris on his side before, but now he was on his back. Rosu shrieked abruptly and fell backwards. Half of the jounin's body was torn off... no, more like it was burned off. A fire extinguisher blew up close to me... that's how I survived. Almost wish I hadn't... This man, where did he go? To the inner chambers... where most of the employees live... that way, - he said, making a weak movement with his remaining arm. The kunoichi got up and headed in the given direction. Don't go... you stupid kid... he'll kill you... Not if I kill him first...
Rosu hurried towards what the guard called the inner chambers. She had to do something about that man. He was killing everyone in the facility, a goal common to what Rosu wanted. But... it wasn't right. The vampire girl only just realized that she didn't really want to massacre the entire complex. Those who were responsible for her and her sister's past were already long dead. This place needed to be shut down for good, but slaying every employee in the facility was not the way, as well as it might not work at all.
She could already hear muffled cries that came from ahead. As she turned another corner, she found herself standing in a large hall. There were many shinobi standing all around it, but there was a greater concentration in the center, where something seemed to be happening. Suddenly, a figure of a man flew out of the crowd and smashed into the wall beside Rosu with a sickening noise and blood splatting all over the wall. What the hell... something threw him so hard he was crushed against the wall... The kunoichi started trembling. Whatever it was that did it, it was not human. A loud explosion drew her attention back towards the center of the hall.
Things have changed since she last looked. There was now only one man standing in the center, the floor tiles around him badly melted. There was a fiery aura engulfing him, and also an intense killing intent. Rosu quickly noticed those who were assaulting the man just seconds ago - they were now badly burned, lying on the ground in the different ends of the hall, at least those of them who hadn't turned to ash. The kunoichi found herself falling on her knees. Whoever that man was, he was insanely powerful... to the point where it was plainly terrifying. What the hell is wrong with me... I'm shaking all over... I... I have to do something... stop shaking damn it! I have the power... I can stop him!
Getting up unsteadily, Rosu reached within herself. She already triggered this power once, a second time shouldn't be a problem. Her thoughts proved true as black fire washed over her, changing her into the "other" self. Picking up a sword from one of the dead guards, she rushes towards the man in the center of the hall. What's this? Another "hero" eager to die? - as he focuses his sight on the figure of the kunoichi, he is taken aback by the sight. She isn't human... wait... this feeling... it can't be! Wait! I don't want to fight you! What's wrong? Chicken much? You will pay for this mindless slaughter! You're not one of the guards, I have no reason to fight you! On the contrary... ah damn it! - he brings up his own weird, rectangular-shaped, sword to block the attack from the girl.
Rosu attacks the man relentlessly. She is letting all her emotions, all her fear and frustration out on him. She is pressing him backwards, but he always has the time to block her attacks, even if just barely. I'm telling you to stop, damn it! We're on the same side! Listen to me! - he tries to talk to her, but she wouldn't listen. Finally, after another blocked attack, he finds an opportunity and jumps back, creating some distance between them. He immediately thrusts his hand forward, a fireball jumping off of it and striking the ground and creating a wall of fire between the two. Stop this foolishness! I am not your enemy here! Look... behind you! Rosu turns around instinctively, just in time to parry an attack from one of the facility's guards. His speed cannot be compared with hers, and she eviscerates him before he can make another move. Will you listen to me now? Alright... I guess I can trust you, somewhat... She shoots a look at the remaining guards, a look not promising them anything good.
It was over in less than a minute. Rosu reverted back to her human form, and sat down on the floor, exhausted. The strange man who helped her walked up and sat beside the kunoichi. I'm glad you could finally see reason. The vampire girl looks up at him suspiciously. Who the hell are you? Heh... straight to the point are we... they call me Sol. I am a bounty hunter, well, usually. This time, however, it's some personal business. Oh really? And what are you doing here? Looking for my daughters... along with paying back these bastards for all that they did. So? Any luck? I'm not sure just yet... - he said, giving Rosu a weird look. They sit in complete silence for a few minutes, until the kunoichi decides to ask a question. So, all the people here... Yes, I cleared out this wing of the facility. Tell me, why were you here? Revenge, I guess. Payback for what these bastards did to me and my sister many years ago. Your sister... where is she? Oh damn! I completely forgot... she is supposed to clear out the other wing of this facility... I need to go help her, - said Rosu, trying to stand up. However, she was too exhausted to move, the release taking much more out of her than she thought it would. You're in no shape to help anybody right now. You need to rest. I don't need you to worry about me! Besides, how can you be not tired at all, after all this... Who knows? I can't really remember the last time I was worn out... hey, I told you to rest, didn't I - he asks the girl as she makes another attempt to leave. But I need to go! I have to help Rose! Rose?... your sister's name... alright, don't worry about it. I'll go and help her. I was going to clear out the whole place on my own anyway. You just rest here, and follow me when you're ready, - he said and started walking away. W-wait!... damn... just who the hell is he? _________________
