Description of clan:

There is a legend that tells of a priestess that lived 1400 years ago from a faraway country. She was called the priestess of Naru, otherwise known as a " Hell Priestess". She was known to dabble in the art of conjuring demons and sealing their powers. One such demon came to her and they instantly fell in love. They soon married and lived peacefully on their farm. However the Lord soon became wary of demon living among humans and ordered him executed. The evil deed was done efficiently and with discretion. The young priestess wallowed in grief before coming to an abrupt decision to use the Forbidden powers bestowed upon her by knowledge. She called upon the Grande Devil himself, and asked for the power to return her lover. He accepted upon one condition - She was to eat the souls of one thousand demons, murder one thousand men, and spill the blood of one thousand women before ten years was over. She did this without complaint and performed all these morbid tasks. Upon the eve of the seventh year she called upon the Grande Devil and asked for the return of her lover. She was mistaken though; she had only devoured the soul of 999 demons. At the return of her husband her own soul which had transformed was taken in his stead. This sad tale was the beginning of the Clan's long and often tragic history.

Two hundred years after this event the country was in strife and rebellion. Demons which had been persecuted were revolting and searching for a way to survive in a world that hated them. However they faced great numbers and were soon mostly destroyed. They fled from the executioners and soldiers which sought for their complete extinction. They lived in fear until one day a small group of warriors of both humans and demons called, " The Amthyest Crusaders" rose to the defence of demons and humans and sought justice for those who were wrongly persecuted. However, the greatest detail in which history omitted was the Crusaders were bloodline relatives to the original naru prietess, in which they used priestess powers to protect the demons. The Amthyest Crusaders soon struck fear into those who hated demons and eventually caused enough destruction for the Lord to sign a treaty with them. They were given a small area on the outskirts of the country to live in peace. They accepted gratefully and moved themselves to an island just off the coast of the great country. They lived in peace and harmony with hundreds of demons which previously resided on the island. They were known as the Naru Clan by the mainland villagers, and the name seemd to stick forever. Many humans soon came to join them as well and lived silently and isolated from the changing world for several centuries.

That is until approximately 600 years ago in which a large shinobi clan of the country began its conquest of the world. During conquest it seemed to envelope and devour hundreds of clans and made them branch clans. As they moved through the world they captured the Naru island and its people who were not equipped for war. The clan was forced to become a part of the Onasazu and had many of their children mix. This is what would lead to the change of the name to Ozanaru, which mixed the two names to respect both ancestry. However, even though affliated with the Onasazu clan they did not send aid during the war. Soon the war began to strain on the Ozanaru. As other Branch Clans withdrew support the Main Clan was overpowered and decimated by the neighbouring countries. In vengeance the neighbouring countries sought for the descruction of all remnants of the Onasazu Clan, including the Ozanaru Clan. Without an alternative the Ozanaru left their paradise of their island and travelled to the new world; across the ocean to a new world.

This new continent was greatly underdeveloped and without much civilization. Instead of aiding some of the newfound countries in development, the Ozanaru Clan ventured within the greatest forest which stretched across several countries. Within the forest was millions of native demon inhabitants. The Ozanaru Clan settled deep within but was soon full of war as the demons fought them. They soon became battle-hardened and carved a their own territory deep in that forest. The demons soon had a grudging respect for them and the Ozanaru Clan lived in relative peace for several more centuries.

However, as time went on, their demonic power faded into their human selves. To counter-act this startling development a new tradition was started. At the death of the father, his demonic aura would be forced into his arm and removed, to be replaced with his son's arm during the time of their shift to adulthood. This led to a stronger placement on family but also on demon culture. While this aided in retaining their demonic heritage it was also found to be slightly morbid and inefficient as the father had to die for the arm. This practice was abolished 300 years later for the more favourable replacement of arms from other demons that resided within the forest. This angered many but within the chaos of the demons it stirred little opposition.

During the time the Ozanaru lived their life in quiet dignity within the forest, with few ties to shinobi or villages, despite the fact that they continued to develop around them. Eventually much of the clan wished for stronger ties to preserve their way of life which seemed to be threatened by the continuous cutting of the forest. Hozo Ozanaru, the current leader of the clan, beseeched the people of Takigakure No Sato, Amegakure No Sato, Kohonagakure No Sato and all other villages in which their great forest stretched across to ally with the Ozanaru clan and promise them that no harm would come to them. Although most villages agreed, the closest village to the Ozanaru Clan home, Takigakure No Sato, saw danger in having such a large rogue clan on their borders. They began a war with the Ozanaru and all the demons within the forest.

The main agressive force was Mitsi, a prominent clan within Takigakure that held most of the military forces. They greatly opposed demons and had great mistrust for the Ozanaru who were not technically demons but did associate with them and considered themselves closely connected. The war was mostly a covert war which elongated the whole process to 10 years. Both sides suffered great losses in both resources and lives. The Ozanaru were greatly angered when a large amount of the newborns were killed. They retaliated quickly and destroyed the Mitsi leader who had persisted in the war despite the losses. The leader which succeeded him saw sense in a cease-fire treaty and willingly signed within three months of his father's death.

During the attack, Hozo was wounded and died several weeks later. He was succeeded by Hiato Ozanaru, which led to one of the greatest upsets in the Ozanaru history during his reign. Twelve short years after the treaty was signed the Takikage ordered the war began anew. With blessing's once more from their village and increased reinforcement the Mitsi Clan fought vigourously against the Ozanaru forces. They were hard-pressed but held their ground against the forces. However, the Mitsi performed a deadly covert operation - they flew in and attacked the Ozanaru Complex head-on. This was unexpected and led to the death of over 3,000 clansmen. During the slaughter, higher rank shinobi and demons tried to save as many children as possible. They scattered into forest and watched as their home for over 300 years burnt into the night. Few survived and those who did were cast away without a home nor the knowledge to preserve themselves. A couple of years later, the leader Hiato and many others re-founded the Ozanaru Clan within Kirigakure No Sato which was a vast distance from the Mitsi and also had native demons in its forests. Recently, Hiato was killed in combat with Otogakure shinobi and the leadership was given to Syra Ozanaru.

Syra Ozanaru has built upon what her father started. Although in deep recession after the loss of their home, a new economic base was built around local business. Known for their ability in the arts and managerial business, they started with creating an artistic level for the people of Kirigakure. This included performances, operas, and other services. This was recieved extremely well and it began a new demand for performance. Money was easily made and several other businesses were purchased including inns, forges, local shops, and many others. This has led to great success within the Village to the current date. [/color]

General Traits

Physical Traits: The Ozanaru tend to have light eye colours that typically are in shades of blue, green, and grey. Their hair ranges greatly in colour but is almost always on a darker scale. Their skin ranges from pale to tanned caucasion. They are usually of taller stance, males ranging from 6' to 6'6", and the females range from 5'6" to 5'10". Typically those with greater demonic strength end up taller for unknown reasons. Their weight tends to match well with their height; rarely naturally big or thin, but rather fit to their size. They will usually live in the upwards of their mid-seventies if they manage not to die earlier. Actual life expentancy after unnatural death is closer to 54, with Ozanaru in their 30's having the highest mortality rate.

Mental Traits: The constant call of what is expected of a leader rings out: Wisdom, passion, power. These are the three basic components of what makes the Ozanaru an excellent clan. Most Ozanaru mature quickly for their age and tend to be either wiser or more passionate than others. Few gain both qualities but those who do are considered better leaders. This is also tied in with the bloodline; those who are passionate lean to the demonic side and those who are wise lean towards human. Those with both are usually closer to partial which is the goal. Ozanaru also have many other unique traits as well. They tend to be excellent at tracking and survival and have an amazing sense of direction. Many of them are artistically inclined and others are able to learn practical skills such as smithing. Most are able to use unconventional methods and think as such, making them excellent strategists.

Clan Traits: The Ozanaru Clan is noted for its affliation with demons. They are the sole clan that specifically allies with demons, live amongst demons and kill demons where necessary. They take up contracts to kill individual demons which only adds to the odd relationship. However this relationship is always in balance, as is there's with villages despite the fact they tend to be distant with them. They also have a unique education system that tend to reflect their different values. Only the Clan Heir is forced to be a shinobi; everyone else is allowed to decide their career after their schooling. At the age of 4-6 the children begin basic weapon training; all Ozanaru are required to do this. Afterwards they begin general schooling, learning basic history, mathematics, geography, etc. They are also required to learn an art of some sort in either musical, visual, or written. The Clan house tends to be a large complex designed to house hundreds of people, which they in fact do. At any time there would be over 100 demons living temporarily or permanently within its walls. They also accept humans without homes to stay for a few months and sometimes offer for permanent residence. The Clan as a whole tends to be very accepting and rarely consider anyone evil or good. They follow a philosophy that as long as respect is given, truth is revered, your decisions without mindlessness and your family is placed among your most important endeavours than everything is allowed. In fact, several times within history the Ozanaru have been the instigators of war. However, like most demons, they tend to shy away from political wars. They act like demons in many other respects as well; they are often hot-headed, easily instigated to pride and envy, etc. They are always battling with the flaws of both humans and demons.

Demon Traits: Demons themselves have many unique traits. Physically, they're quite different from humans. They don't use jutsu like a human would; instead, they all have natural innate abilities. Although they do use chakra as well, it is concentrated in the opposite form and will stop them from using jutsu. Most demons can't or don't bother learning jutsu as it is, relying on natural powers and strengths. As one would assume, they're physically adept in one or several fields (IE power, speed, agility, swimming). This is necessary for survival. Also necessary is their birth rate; babies are born several months faster than what would be comparable. Demons who appear similar to humans, for example, would birth from 4 - 5 months. They also develop quickly, maturing in shorter years than what would be comparable.

Mentally, they have unique traits as well. Demons are creatures of conflict; they are balanced between order and chaos. They might kill without remorse and without reason at one time while saving children and feeling guilt at another. Their nature is always at battle, although most tend to have a main side in which is in control. As one would assume, their emotions and personality match their natural side of conflict. Those with order would be more wise, cautious, and empathetic. Those who are of chaos would be more angry, hot-heated, and quick to act.

Description: The Akuma Ude Youshiki allows for the ninja to gain the abilities of a demon. Although they already have demonic blood, they have little demonic heritage which forces the abilities into a dormant state. With another demon's arm they can release their genetic powers and use the demon's abilities. Part of the demon's soul is attached to the arm when removing it and it allows for the use of its conciousness.

The bloodline can only be aquired between the ages of 15 to 18. If done too early or too late, the arm will simply rot off and leave the ninja crippled. Almost all ninja of the Ozanaru descendants can use the bloodline, but most can only reach certain seals depending on their demonic strength. Each ninja has a certain level of demonic strength, which is usually higher in those that are the leaders (direct descendants) to the other members. Those who are of half blood can also gain access to the final seals, which are only accessible to others by extreme training.

This bloodline could possibly be the most dangerous upon the user. The demon in the mind is constantly sending insidious thoughts to remove the seals and release it. This requires immense willpower to hold the demon back, especially when wounded or at times of stress. Secondly it will slowly drain chakra. This costs little at lower seals but the higher seals will cost immense amounts of chakra. Besides chakra it will cost a large amount of stamina, no matter the seal level. And finally the strain of demonic blood mixing with human blood within the blood stream for long periods of time will start burning off the human blood. When the arm is sealed once more, the user will lose a large amount of energy that will more than likely turn them unconcious, paralyzed, or simply dead.

Half demons are affected differently by their demonic heritage. Unlike partial demons, they do not require another demon's arm. Instead, they rely on their natural powers and boost them as necessary. Seals are placed on half demons to control their powers and to stop them from releasing all of it at once, in which their human side would not be able to handle. Once active it will release all their natural powers. Unlike the partial demon Seals, it will not continuously drain chakra but will cost a normal amount of chakra for the jutsu they use in this state. These jutsu are much more powerful than their shinobi counterparts. They also are not prone to losing vast amounts of energy once it is sealed again; they typically lose to half of what a partial would lose.

Bloodline limits: The bloodline limit of the Ozanaru is the use of the demonic arm. However since there is certain levels of demonic blood in each person the arm has different level of seals. Each level of seal gives more of the demon's jutsu, and increases power of the previous jutsu. These jutsu do not count towards the total amount, and they all continue to add up. For example, if one has reached the third seal, they can use the 2 D ranked jutsu, 2 C ranked jutsu, and 1 B ranked jutsu. As the Seal increases, so does the increments of the strengths / weaknesses. Seals can be used without training but will likely kill the user. Members must be trained in control and can only be taught by higher rank shinobi from the Ozanaru Clan.

First Seal : Above Wrist
Requirements - Akuma Ude Youshiki Jutsu
Abilities - 1 D Ranked Jutsu; Weak ability strength

Second Seal: Below Elbow
Requirements - First Seal
Abilities - 1 D Ranked & 1 C Ranked Jutsu; Average ability strength

Third Seal: Below Shoulder
Requirements - Second Seal
Abilities - 1 C Ranked Jutsu & 1 B Ranked Jutsu; Average ability strength and weak physical enhancement

Fourth Seal: Beside Shoulder
Requirements - Third Seal
Abilities - 1 B Ranked Jutsu & 1 A Ranked Jutsu; Strong Ability strengthand average physical enhancement

Fifth Seal: Beside Heart
Requirements - Fourth Seal
Abilities - 1 S Ranked Jutsu; High ability strength and strong physical enhancement

Sixth Seal: Whole Body
Requirements - Fifth Seal
Abilities - Allows one to become a demon permanently. This will increase the strength of the user to the full height of a hellbound demon and also gives the user all weaknesses of a hellbound demon. This Seal is forbidden.

Seventh Seal: Opposite Arm
Requirements - Fourth Seal
Abilities - 1 D ranked Jutsu & 1 C Ranked Jutsu & 1 B Ranked Jutsu & 1 A Ranked Jutsu; High ability strength and high physical enhancement

Eighth Seal: Removed Arm
Requirements - Akuma Ude Youshiki
Abilities - Allows the user to give their arm to another (typically spouse) and aquire the Ozanaru bloodline. This can only be done once and it nullifies any previous bloodlines.

Ninth Seal: Spine
Requirements - Third Seal; Half-demon or Special Training
Abilities - This releases the natural powers given by being half demon or by having the demonic strength equal to one. By releasing this Seal one can extend their bloodline a short period and strengthen all demonic jutsu by 150%. Once the allotted time runs out a partial demon will drain themselves completely of chakra and almost all stamina. Those powerful enough can extend the bloodline for a short while longer but the result will be unconscious for a long time. Half demons only feel half these side-effects.

To learn this Seal one must do two things: Encounter a life and death situation after achieving the requirements to be able to access it, and train with another who has it to control it. Those who are in the first stage can't stop the Seal once released. Half demons can train for the Seal on their own.

Tenth Seal: Lower Back
Requirements - Ninth Seal; Half-demon or Special Training
Abilities - This releases the natural powers given by being a powerful half demon or by having the demonic strength equal to one. By releasing this SEal one can extend their bloodline a great amount of time and strengthen all demonic jutsu by 200%. Once the allotted time runs out a partial demon will drain themselves completely and lose all ability of consciousness and movement for a full 12 hours. Those powerful enough can extend the bloodline for a short while longer but the result will be death. Half demons only feel half these side-effects.

Description: The opposite arm gains the a single seal that runs up along the arm. This allows for another set of the demon's jutsu. However, the difference is these are not previously used. These jutsu are modelled by both the user and the demon.

Type: Nin
Rank: C
Requirements: Ozanaru Only
Description: This allows you to bind demons to your person. This must be done with a contract, in which the limitations are written. Both user's blood must be on the contract to prove they are both bound. Afterwards, the contract is burned so the demon can't revoke it. This forces the demon to become an ally and make its main purpose your protection. This does not allow for summoning. At each rank, the demons have more demonic jutsu. Also, higher ranks allow for more Demon Bound. These demons must be made with a template and can not be changed.

Genin - 1 demon with Seal One to Two level jutsu.
Chuunin - 2 demons with Seal One to Four level jutsu.
Jounin - 3 demons with Seal One to Five level jutsu.
Sannin/ Kage/ Clan Leader - 5 demons with Seal one to Seven level jutsu.

EDIT: Bah, I'm not sure what to do about this one. I suggest making a couple Jutsu first, then adding them in here.
