Bloodline Name: Mouchougan - Raptor Eye - Bird of prey Eye
Clan Name: Raptor
Leader: NPC: Shakaku Raptor(Name means: Angel of Fire)
Village: Konohgakure - Village hidden in the leaf
Clan Description: The Raptor clan teams its ninja with a Bird of prey. Most common partners are Eagles, Hawks, Falcons, and Owls. Uncommon partners are, Vultures, and most rare of all is the Phoenix. Much like their bird partners, members of the Raptor clan must learn to fly at a young age or not be trained as ninja and be exiled. This is to ensure that their bloodline stays at its strongest form and continues unopposed. The leader of the clan will come visit a potential ninja when they reach the age of five or sooner. At this time the child will be brought to a tall tree or cliff and begin the initiation ceremony.
The ceremony is long and starts by pushing the child over the edge. This is done to see if the bloodline has strong roots with in. much like their bird partner, flying is instinctive to members who carry the bloodline. The child has a short time to fly after being pushed or fail the test and possibly end his/her life. The guardian(s) of the child aren't to intervene for any reason. If the child crashes and survives then he/she fails the test and is brought to the leader where their Chakra are forever sealed within their body. This child can never be trained as a ninja. If the child's Guardian(s) intervene at any time during this process they are brought before the leader and their Chakra is also forever sealed within their body. If they try to flee before the sealing process then they are hunted and killed. If the Child flies before time is up then the next step of the ceremony begins.
Once a clan member passes the first step he/she is given a Chakra egg. The clan member must keep this egg on their person at all times incubating it until it hatches. The egg will feed off the chakra of the clan member until it hatches into a Bird of prey. This could take anywhere from a few weeks to a whole year. Once the Nin-bird hatches the child is again brought before the leader. This time the leader will brand the ninja-to-be with a tattoo of their nin-bird in flight along their back. He will then assign to one of five groups bases on his nin-bird, they are; Eagle, Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Owl, or Vulture. At this time he will congratulate the child on successfully hatching the nin-bird and give him/her the outfit they will be wearing for their ninja career. This ends the ceremony into becoming a full Raptor clan ninja. After the ceremony is complete it is up to the Guardians to enlist their child in the Ninja Academy where they will become full fledged ninja for the Leaf village.
A Clan members entire being will revolve around their group or bird Style. From what jutsu they can and will learn to how they use those jutsu in battle.
The clan has all but whipped out dew to a mission. Theer are still a few stragglers that find their way back to the village.
Clan Traits/Characteristics: Solid green eyes without a visable pupple. They generally ware garb consistant with their bird partner. This includes feathers from the Bird of Prey partner. The garb will genually have the same or simaler color patterns. A Face mask is warn in the same fasion as the birds own face right down to the beak. The clan members face around the eyes will be tattooed with a colored mark depicting their elemental chakra.
When a clan member is naked from the waist up a majestic tattoo of their bird partners adult form can be found on their back. With its head at the base of the ninja's neck, wings spread wide from sholder to sholder, and the outstretched tail feathers at the base of the spine every detail is vividly shown as if the tattoo could come alive and fly off.
Clan Personality: Clan members are generally well mannered and in tune with natures calling. They have a respect for nature and all things within it. Though each member has a strong afinity for their element they all share a fasination with the sky. They are not the best team players but when it all comes down to it they are good scouts and are a welcome asset to any squad.
Bloodline Description: The Mouchougan bloodline is best known for their ability to use their chakra to fly like the bird of prey they partner with. Other skills hidden within the bloodline are advanced chakra control and the ability to share sight with their bird of prey partners. Each clan member falls under one of five groups or Branches. These groups define what jutsus they can learn and how they use them.
It is a common misconception that says that a clan members skills are defined by their Nin-bird. It reality it is the nin-bird that is defined by the ninja's skills. A Raptor clan ninja's chakra network defines who they are and what they can do from birth. When the ninja is given their chakra egg it feed off their chakra and the nin-bird inside develops based on the ninja's own chakra signature. A ninja's element is also defined by his chakra network. When the nin-bird hatches it tells what skill and element the ninja will have.
A Ninja with a large untapped Chakra pool and a calm mind will most often develop an Eagle Nin-bird within their chakra egg. These ninjas will most commonly become great leaders and tacticians.
If the Ninja will be highly energetic and can focus chakra quickly then a Peregrine falcon becomes his partner. More often then not these Ninja are selected when a job needs to be done quickly. Their skill in aerial combat are unparalleled by any of the other branches.
If the ninja is secretive and values the night over daylight hours it is most commonly an Owl that will hatch from their chakra egg. These ninja are best known for attacking without warning under the night sky where their skills are at there best. There mind is sharp and Genjutsu have a less but not eliminated effect on them.
If the ninja is a trickster and enjoys the good old prank then a Hawk will become his partner. Hawk ninja are known for the surprise attack. They can see the chakra flow of there opponent and also conceal there own. They can attack without warning from anywhere because of this. Most common used by this branch is the trap.
If the ninja has a dark hart and a will of duty then the rare Vulture has been known to become this ninja's partner. Few members of the Vulture branch are seen because they most commonly are sent away as ANBU and Tracker Ninja for the Kage. When a rouge ninja of the village or the clan escapes it is these ninja who are called to hunt them down and kill them.
Should the rare happen and a Phoenix hatch from a ninja's chakra egg then it is a sign that they will do great things within their time. Only one Phoenix nin-pet has ever been hatched at any one time. The current one is Solar Flare who is partnered with the clan leader Shakaku Raptor.
Each ninja is bound to their nin-bird of prey partner by their chakra pool. They share the same chakra pool and if either the ninja or nin-pet should run out of chakra or worse, die, then the other will suffer the same fate.

Description: This is the Dojutsu of the Raptor clan. It allows the user and their Bird of prey partner to use each others eyes. There are three stages of this jutsu. As the ninja gets stronger they advance to the next stage.
Level 1: The clan's eye color is normally solid green. When this Dojutsu is activated a faint copy of the Partner's eyes appears over the ninja's. The ninja can now see through their partner's eyes and see exactly what they are seeing. However, the ninja can't see through his eyes during this jutsu.
Level 2: When this Dojutsu is activated a more sold copy of the Partner's eyes appears over the ninja's. At this level both ninja and partner can change between seeing through each other's eyes and their own. This is effective when you need to see far distances but still need your head in the here and now.
Level 3: The most advanced version of the Mouchougan. When this Dojutsu is activated the ninja's eyes split down their middle and open to a bird like design. In addition to the effects of the level 2 Mouchougan, the user's own vision gets enhanced to that of their bird partner. The chakra strain at this level is great and only Jounin level ninja or higher should use it.

Description: Raptor clan members carry an unlimited number of bird feathers on their person at all times. This Jutsu transforms these feathers into known weapons for the user. This allows the ninja to use many more of a certain weapon that would otherwise be impossible due to the mass and weight of the supply.

When the clones chakra is expended the clone dispels.

Description: This Kinjutsu is a powerful Ninjutsu of the Raptor clan created by the only know partner to a Phoenix Nin-pet. First the ninja does the required hand signs. This releases every bit of the ninja's chakra and sends it to his nin-pet, who is circling off an area with his own fire. The Nin-pet then returns to his ninja and covers him/her with it's body. At this time the entire circled area bursts into flames turning everything within it's diameter to ash.

Description: The ninja first releases an intense chakra from every part of their body wile holding the bird hand sign. Once this is done the ninja then follows up with the following, Boar Dog Bird Dragon Horse Tiger, hand signs. The chakra around their body then heats to 300F. The ninja can focus this armor to any parts of their body.

Description: The Housenka Zen'yu no Jutsu is a very advance healing technique that uses the phoenix’s own eternal flame to heal any wound inflicted. First the phoenix nin-pet covers the wounded or dieing ninja with his body and wings. Then the ninja focuses his chakra in the palm of his hand and places it on the back of the nin-pet. The ninja then steps back as both the nin-pet and wounded ninja burst into an intense flame. This flame burns until both the ninja and nin-pet are ash. From this ash rise both the phoenix and previous wounded ninja unharmed and ready to continue the fight. This technique can be used on multiple ninja at once but doubles the amount of chakra needed for each one.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique similar to the Kirigakure no Jutsu(Hidden mist Technique) in that it reduces visibility. This variant creates a black cloud that covers the area and blocks out all light.

Requirements: Must be of the Raptor clan.
Description: This is the Kekkei Genkai of the Raptor clan. As its name suggests it allows the ninja use of their chakra to fly in a pattern similar to their bird partner. A Gliding partner takes less chakra to get airborne wile an air current is present. However, much more chakra is required if no current is present. A partner with smaller wings requires more chakra to get airborne, but requires no extra for the faster flight they are known for. This jutsu progresses over three levels as the ninja's skill with the jutsu increases.
Level 1: By holding the Tori hand sign the ninja releases chakra from their body and directs it downward, this creates lift. The more chakra they use the higher they will climb. Chakra must be continually used or the ninja will fall from the sky. More chakra can be use for propulsion in the same manner as lift.
Level 2: As with level 1 the ninja needs to hold the Tori hand sign to release their chakra. With their body wrapped in chakra the ninja just needs to direct their chakra for propulsion. Also as with level one, should the flow of chakra be stopped the ninja will fall out of the sky.
Level 3: The third level is different then the previous two in that it is a seal release. When the ninja becomes strong enough they learn the following 20 hand signs to unseal this jutsu from deep within the body. Bird, Tiger, Snake, Bird, Dragon, Dog, Boar, Bird, Dog, Monkey, Dragon, Bird, Snake, Ram, Horse, Bird, Dragon, Dog, Boar, Bird. With the string of hand signs complete the ninja holds the final hand sign as the jutsu takes effect. Chakra strands start to extend from the ninja's body and take the form of their partners wings. Then the ninja's own chakra network extends to these wings. The chakra wings are now a part of the ninjas own anatomy and can be used for free flight without expanding any chakra. The jutsu has the added effect of activating the Mouchougan lv3.

Description: A Taijutsu style technique used by the Raptor clan of the Leaf village. The ninja will strike their opponent continuously with a claw weapon or 6 Shuriken placed one between each finger from the index to pinky of each hand. The weapons can be charged with chakra to increase range and sharpness.

Description: First the ninja flies at their opponent kicking them with their dominate foot. They then follow up with a 180 degree  turn and another kick with the other foot. The ninja again follows up with another 180 degree turn and one more kick with their dominate foot, this time dropping the heel down on their opponent. The ninja then finishes off by kicking the opponent into the air increasing the blows damage and range by using the chakra flow from the Torioite Furaito(Bird in Flight).

Description: The ninja will first follow their foe into the air by use of their Torioite Furaito(Bird in flight) striking ether the back or chest from the underside with their dominate palm sending them higher and faster into the air. The ninja will then fly over their opponent and thrust their dominate palm down on top of them using the force of their Torioite Furaito(Bird in flight) to send them crashing to the ground or other object/

Description: The user will first position their opponent high in the air then fly well above them. They will then fly at their target at an increasing speed. Once in range they will strike their opponent with the 6 shuriken placed, 3 on each hand, 1 between each finger. The strike can be a punch or a swipe. The ninja will then reposition them selves for another strike. This will continue until their target hits the ground or counter attacks.

Description: Both the ninja and nin-bird can use this technique. The user sends an uncountable amount of feathers, enhanced with chakra to be as hard as diamonds, at their opponent by the flapping of wings or just throwing them. These feathers will cut through anything they come in contact with.

Description: By using the Torioite Furaito to gain altitude the ninja selects their target and dive-bombs them. When the target is within range the will charge their legs with chakra increasing damage and strike them with their feet or knees knocking the target to the ground.

Description: The ninja will focus their chakra into their arms and legs. They will then touch their opponent in the form of a grab or strike. When the ninja makes contact the chakra will place a great amount of pressure on the bone of the target and cause it to fracture or break. This technique is most effective in the form of a full body grab. As Chakra can be continually released to damage arms or ribs. This is most commonly used as a last move once the target has exhausted their chakra or energy because it takes its toll on the ninja's Chakra supply.

Description: The ninja will first use their Mouchougan(Raptor eye) and track their target with their Vulture nin-pet's help. When the target has been spotted and comes within range the vulture will emit a fowl smelling odor. When the target smells this odor they become trapped within this jutsu. Everything will appear normal to the ninja save for the smell of rotting flesh. A possible dead animal. At any time there after the ninja can approach their target without being identified and attack. The ninja(s) under the Genjutsu wont see the attacking ninja or his attacks until the Genjutsu is dispelled.

Name: Fukurou Jikei - Owl Style

Description: Each ninja in the Raptor clan specializes in a certain bird fighting style that defines what Jutsu they can learn and how they use it. The most advanced of the five styles, Fukurou users specialize in silent killing techniques. As with three of the other four styles Fukurou users rarely use Genjutsu. Unlike the same three of the other styles, they can recognize and dispel higher level Genjutsu much easier. They can also rapidly fluctuate their Chakra flow within their body. Their Torioite Furaito can switch between soaring on the wind and quickly rushing in on the fly. This style's Mouchougan can see perfectly in both the day and in the darkest of places. They're also known to have acute night vision without their Mouchougan.
Name: Hagetaka jikei - Vulture Style

Description: Each ninja in the Raptor clan specializes in a certain bird fighting style that defines what Jutsu they can learn and how they use it. Users of the Hagetaka jikei are rare indeed as most are sent away to train as tracker ninja and ANBU as soon as their nin-pet hatches into a Vulture. Unlike the other styles Hagetaka users specialize in Genjutsu and Ninjutsu, rarely using the Taijutsu their clan is well known for. They will use their Vulture Nin-pet to locate the rogue ninja then sneak in and trap them in a dark Genjutsu leaving the ninja open for a killing Ninjutsu. Hagetaka users will rarely face their target until they are dead and their body ready for extraction. . Their Torioite Furaito allows them to effortlessly ride on wind currents. This styles Mouchougan is the weakest in terms of range, this by no means hinders its usefulness. The Hagetaka Mouchougan can see through Genjutsu that is up to one lvl higher then the ninja's skill.
Name: Hayabusa Jikei - Peregrine Falcon Style

Description: Each ninja in the Raptor clan specializes in a certain bird fighting style that defines what Jutsu they can learn and how they use it. The Hayabusa is a more direct style as its ninja specialize in fast Taijutsu and Ninjutsu techniques that require a lot of chakra and control. As such the ninja becomes more energetic and gets a high chackra flow. Their Torioite Furaito takes more chakra for lift but extra chakra does't need to be used for faster flight. Hayabusa users rarely use Genjutsu. This style's Mouchougan can track faster movement much easier then the other styles.
Name: Taka jikei - Hawk Style

Description: Each ninja in the Raptor clan specializes in a certain bird fighting style that defines what Jutsu they can learn and how they use it. The Taka jikei or Hawk style specializes in surprise attacks. They will most commonly wait for their opponent to come to them before they strike. This is mostly done by use of a clone or trap. Their Torioite Furaito requires much less chakra then the others. Users can use their own momentum to coast rather then glide in the air. This styles Mouchougan is able to see the chakra flow of a Jutsu aswell as hide their own.
Name: Washi Jikei - Eagle Style

Description: Each ninja in the Raptor clan specializes in a certain bird fighting style that defines what Jutsu they can learn and how they use it. The Washi is the calmest of the five styles as the ninja prefers to use steady Ninjutsu to tire their opponent out by exhausting their energy or chakra. As such users of this style have a greater chakra pool to draw from. Once the opponent has tired Washi users will come in and finish the job commonly by breaking every bone in the body before ending with a kill. Their Torioite Furaito allows them to effortlessly ride on wind currents. When no wind is present it takes a large amount of chakra to get them airborne and to maintain flight. This styles Mouchougan can see much farther then the others.
Name: Fenikkusu Jikei - Phoenix Style

Description: Each ninja in the Raptor clan specializes in a certain bird fighting style that defines what Jutsu they can learn and how they use it. The Phoenix style is not listed under the normal 5 Styles of the Raptor clan because only one has ever been able to hatch a Phoenix and use it. It is unclear what skills come with this style, the only thing known is that its soul user has lived well beyond his years and can use any technique within the raptor clan's arsenal. The Torioite Furaito of the phoenix is effortless by all means. The user only needs to wrap himself in his chakra to activate the technique. Once activated they can effortlessly fly or glide at any speed without expending much chakra. This styles Mouchougan can read anyone caught within its gaze. Able to seal or release a Ninja's Chakra within the body preventing them from ever using it again.
