Background: kenji is a young man who grew up on the outskirts of Kanoha. As soon as he was able to walk and talk he began his training with his father. His father was an Kanoha Jounin well baptised in the art of war. Kenji's father was a Excellent Taijitsu user and had spent many years to perfect his dual swords. Kenji would spend hours and days on rigourous training in the hope to succeed the level of his father someday. His father never took training litely on Kenji thats why he loved his mother so deeply who provided him with compassion and comfort. Kenji's mother owned a small flower shop that sold a vast assortment of flowers, it didnt make much money but it was an job more for his mother to keep busy instead of make money. Kenji thought he had the life everyone dreamed of, a loving mother and an successful dad, plus having the potential to one day be a great Kanoha hero, but this dream took a turn for the worse.
when Kanoha went into war Kenji's father left home to help the fight. Kenji was proud and never doughted that his dad wouldnt return, to him his dad was the best ninja he knew. As time passed Kenji trained and trained and before each day had ended he looked down the road in hope that today would be the day of his father's return but it wasnt, that day would never come. At the age of 10 He and his mother recieved the message that his father was one of many shinobi that passed while at war. Kenji stood in disbelief when the news was given to him, then the emotions began to rush through him like an hurricane. Anger, Sadness, Confusion..but he had to stay strong for his mother that was all he had left.
At the funeral of his father he vowed to continue his legacy. He would continue to perfect his father dual swords and do what ever he could to protect his mother and kanoha. The very next day Kenji began to train much harder..slowly spending less and less time with friends and doing other activities and more time training and becoming an better fighter. As years passed Kenji was obviously becoming better and he felt ready to enter the Acadamy. upon entering the acadamy he quickly began to remake friends and his childish, less stressed half began to blossum. He graduated The acadamy at the age of 12 but instead of becoming a chuunin he stayed at home for a year as a Genin. He wanted to spend another year at this level becouse he felt once he become a Chuunin his missions would become harder and he may to face the same fate as his father, leaving his mother alone. after a year of extra training and spending time with his mother..it was finally time for him to move on, but before leaving he left his dads swords home with his mother and vowed to return to them when he felt he was capable of using them better than his father.. That would be more of a jutsu, which you probably want to include in a custom jutsu once you are able to create it. If katanas weren't allowed, how would that cancel out swords? They aren't banned but he can't use them until a later ranking. He could you wakazashis or the such. And why the hell would katanas be banned on a ninja rp?

he just uses his chakra to increase their strength at this level, he will later learn techniques, which i will put in the custom jutsu, when i learn some basic techniques first and gain some rank.
