The true power of the bow, however, comes with it's namesake. when an opponent is struck by the arrows, they will begin to see a red haze over their eyesight that only deepens with every successful shot and lasts the duration of the battle.

Background:

[Birth]

Yuminaru was born of the Nova Family; A clan of prodigious hunters who mastered the ‘Falling Star Style’ of archery. She was born the sister of Alieson Nova, however due to the circumstances of her birth; she did not know of her mother and father much. When Yumina was born, she was born under a certain set of stars that spelled doom for the clan, so her father had her mother killed and planned to kill Yumina as well, however the prodigious archer somehow escaped. Her nanny knew a secret passage through the estate and saved the youngling, allowing her to exist. Yumina was raised as the grandchild of the nanny who had saved her. They lived within the village of Konohagakure, not far from Yumina’s birthplace. Yumicha was trained in the healing arts by her granny, who was an accomplished healer. It was only through the continued efforts of her nanny did Yumina pass her father’s scrutiny un-noticed. Yumina spent her days learning of the healing arts from her nanny, who would coach her on her chakra control and her reserves of chakra. While the ppractice was long and boring, it payed off and Yumina began to learn the healing arts.

[Shinobi Academy]

At her tenth birthday, Yumina was at last discovered. Her father killed her granny, however before her granny died, she told Yumina about her past; Yumina was the heiress of the Nova Clan. Yumina escaped her father’s dread once and for all when she fled the manor. Shortly after then, she entered the Shinobi Academy as her ‘Gran’ has instructed her before her death. Yumina didn’t have a place to stay so she had to learn to live on the street, a tough and challenging experience for her. It wasn’t exactly paradise for the young Yumina, however she managed. Yumina grasped onto the concepts of Chakra and Jutsu quickly while also learning what she could of archery.

She was able to take archery classes while in the Academy, expanding her abilities even further. She was one of the best in her class, she always aced her homework, though her situation about being homeless was soon discovered by her sensei. Yumina was offered an apartment and no longer became homeless. She felt a deep part of herself gone, though. She had many friends on the streets who protected her at night, so she returned to the street often. As Yumina still had no money, her street-intelligence developed as her shinobi knowledge increased. Upon graduation, Yumicha recieved her first bow.

[Genin - Team Six]

Yumina became a certified Med-Nin upon her inception into Genin Team Six, and also formed much of the team strategy. Her team was composed of herself, a Taijutsu specialist, and another, one who specialized in Genjutsu. Their first year of being a team was consumed by menial tasks such as gathering herbs and the such, though they did also execute the occasional bandit. Yumina gained strong bonds with her team mates as the team strengthened, even though they were not certified for the Chuunin Exam their first year. Their team chemistry was perfect, however their sensei did not believe them completely ready for the trials.

Genin Team Six neared the end of it's first year when a B-Rank mission was accepted, an escort mission. By then, Yumina has fallen in love with the Genjutsu-User on their team, Shoji'. The group met up with the one they were to escort. Halfway to the village of sand, things were uneventful. Perhaps this was what lured the team into a false sense of security. When they entered the area around Hidden Sand, they were ambushed. There was nothing three Genin could do against a host of Chuunin. In the end, they were slaughtered and to the best og Yumina's healing abilities, she was the only one out of the team to survive. She fought the Chuunin from a range with her bow and managed to kill two of them, causing the third to flee.

Using this opportunity, Yumina ran with the one she was to protect into Sunagakure where she found refuge. She felt into a state of shock after delivering the elder into Sunagakure. She was taken care of while she was in Suna, however her condition only worsened. It was feared that she would die, however she broke out of the state of shock after a month. When she woke from the state of shock, she found herself much more anti-social. She didn't want to get close to anyone else, because she couldn't stand to see anyone else she loved die. She returned to Konohagakure after another month spent in Sungakure where she was field-promoted to the rank of Chuunin.

[Chuunin]

Yumina joined yet another team as the 'Medical Specialist', however believed she couldn't save anyone. She began to develope pessimism as she continued in suit with the line of missions she had been going along earlier, mainly escort missions. Her success rate was much higher than anyone anticipated, many theorized that she was actually Jounin-Level and should be awarded as such, however she was not given that honor. The last mission with her team was an A-Rank infiltration mission into Otogakure. Yumina disguised herself as a Med-nin who made herself invaluable to Otogakure, and the mission was a successful. Upon their was back to Konohagakura, however, the team was ambushed like her last one. A pair of 'Jounin' stood before and behind them.

Yumina entered a duel with the Jounin infront so her team could retreat. She was able to - through a hard fight and near death - kill the Jounin and drive the other one off long enough to escape, however her body was in bad shape. When she returned, Yumina was recommended to join ANBU and was allowed to join ANBU. She became known as a Hunter-Nin, hunting Missing-Nin on the Bingo Book. Yumina liked to work alone and was very effective through combination of chakra scalpel at close range and long-ranged bow attacks. She eliminated many low-grade criminals as well as a few B-Rank criminals. Her time with ANBU was coming to an end, however, as the Jounin Exam was hosted. Yumina dominated the tournaments and easily made it to the rank of Jounin.

[Jounin/Missing Nin]

Yumina expirienced a great calm as she primarily instructed the young ones and guarded the village. She was at last free of the menial tasks that she was used to, however that would soon change. That was when the Great Shinobi War came and Yumina was tasked to many assassinations. Her assassinations were clean and hard to detect, ranging form the use of chakra scalpel to poisons. Yumina's previous personality was entirely gone from her, she was a much more serious, solemn woman. Even once the Great Shinobi War ended, she retained her personality. Yumina's strength and medical knowledge continued to grow as she also learned about her clan and trained within it's application. That was when she came on contact with her sister - Aleison. The Starkin Necklace reacted to her elemental composition and changed it radically. Yumina became skilled in manipulating her own 'Starkin Weapon' and several jutsus that utilized the Starkin through training and pretty much 'winging it'. Unknown to Yumina, however, her father had finally found her and had made a deal with the Kage. Assassins were sent to kill her by her father and the Kage; ANBU Black Ops. She killed her assassins before fleeing her apartment. She fled to the Hokage Building, slipping through the balcony into the office. Her arrows were thwarted by the Hokage's protectors, many who she killed, however she could not reach the Hokage himself. Finding her life in danger, she retreated from the village and began a new life of wandering.

Even if it is for a storyline, it cannot be specially developed, even my NPC's don't go further then Anbu or jounin.
