Idea Name: Jobs
Creator: MarukoSan

Description: Sometimes i've seen on the show that some people have certain jobs on the show. Of course you could still be a ninja and have all your skills and go on missions and stuff, but you could apply for maybe other rp'ing jobs like secretary to the kage or the translator or hawk-carrier tamer. I think that if we had jobs you could apply for on here then maybe that could give more insight to the characters life and personality, like Ino with her flower shop. There could be a job rp where people could go into your shop and talk to you and buy stuff and deepen your characters personality and there relationships with others. Also we might be able to do like job-based jutsus like Ino with that wolfsbane jutsu she used on Ami. so if you become a flower or plant specialist, you'll know tons of herbs and poisonous flowers which could give you medical background.

others: If you choose carpenter or something like that, you can apprentice under someone and be like an apprentice...

No, he is wrong, as he quite often is. We do not have such a system, but it is up to each person what their character does. So we can't really enforce this either way

We try and keep this a "Free Form" RP, while RPs with specific classes like that are more "Stat / Controlled" RPs. The stat/controlled RPs can still be good, dont get me wrong...but we just have always been a free form RP and prolly will always be.

For example, your idea would be a stat/controlled based RP. While in our Free Form RP, if you RP as, let's say a carpenter, then you are just known as one. We try to eliminate as many "OOC" (Out of Context, meaning non-RP stuff) as possible...and make your character develop in the RP and on their own, without a set system of rules / guides.

Do you understand? I am not saying no, just trying to explain a bit why it might not work.
