OOC: Ok, posting now! ^_^

IC: Zetsumei just stands there, looking at the Raptor Shinobi still shocked to the point that he can barely even talk, and even can be seen shivering some as he can feel the heat coming from his hands up at his body, knowing full and well that, if he makes a wrong move, he's dead. But, as soon as Kodo brings his hand from him, he relaxes a lot more, but still watches him very carefully, and he's certain that he knows that he uses the Vulture Style of the Clan because of the kind of mask that he wears, but knows that his Pet-Nin will be safe from him as long as he stays in the sky high enough. But, as he watches as the Shinobi's Pet-Nin, that of the Falcon, goes into the sky, he looks up at it, knowing that his will probably be found by it, knowing that Falcon's have excellent eyesight, but he looks back at the Raptor, and watches him as he starts up his training again. He goes over to the rock that he was hiding behind, sits down on it, and watches from the distance quietly for right now, waiting for the right time to actually ask him to teach him some Jutsus, Clan and non.

Kodo closed in on his target with determination like nothing elts. He was going to successfully hit the dummy and reach the next step of the jutsu. The dummy climbed ever closer as Kodo positioned himself for the attack. With his six small shuriken already in place between each of his knuckles, Kodo pulled his arms wide and back tightening the muscles. With his target now in range Kodo released the tension on his arms as they swung forward striking the dummy in its lower chest area. Kodo flew easily past this time as the impact only affected the dummy, that was now spiraling in the air. As Kodo flew past he thought this a good time to reposition himself for another strike…

…Kodo’s descent stopped as he moved and shot to his left before stopping again to shoot upwards to reposition himself for the second strike. Kodo looked down at his target , who’s spiraling motion seems to be keeping it airborne longer. Kodo liked this idea as it gave him a better chance for a second and maybe even third strike where the opponent would be helpless to stop him as well as rather air sick. Kodo was now hovering well over his target when he spotted something elts out of the corner of his eye. He looked up to see a large bird soaring above him. “Mouchougan!” Kodo’s green eyes gained a slight hue as the center darkened slightly and a faint gold appeared around the outside.

Airazor had already spotted the same thing and was well above the soaring vulture positioning for the attack. Kodo signaled to Airazor a warning pass. Kodo could see the details of the vulture’s feathers through Airazor’s eyes. He knew this had to be the young Raptor’s nin-pet. Airazor dropped from the sky like a bullet. Airazor buzzed the large bird just above its right wing, his speed an excess of 100mph. Both Airazor and Kodo dropped from the Sky and landed in front of the young ninja. Kodo’s eyes still carrying the active Mouchougan. The dummy landed a few seconds latter behind them.

OOC: Sorry for the wait!! ^_^

IC: Zetsumei just sits there on the rock that he was hiding behind beforehand, watching Kodo's training intently, wanting to know the kind of Jutsus he knows, but knows that he can't really learn them because Taijutsu, and being up close, isn't exactly his way of fighting, but will if he has to. Around that time, his Vulture, Lammergeier, Pet-Nin flies down from the sky, and lands on his left shoulder, mostly because he wants to give his wings a rest, and makes sure that he doesn't hurt his Master's shoulder as he settles down, using his superior balance to stay in place, as well as his claws. Though he would love to learn some of the Clan's Ninjutsus, he would rather learn some good Genjutsus, but knows that the Clan doesn't have any, at least none that he knows of at this point, but thinks that Kodo may know something about it, so he decides to shout out to him, hoping that it doesn't affect his training that much, if at all.

Kodo-san, would you happen to know any good Genjutsus, or any within our Clan?

ooc: It’s cool Kat. I haven’t been on myself as of late as much as I would like.

ic: Kodo walked over to the young Genin and deactivated his Mouchougan. Kodo didn’t like that this boy kept interrupting his training. He knew he was close to getting the movements and timing right. A few more times and he would have it down and another Taijutsu would be his for the using. Still he would indulge the boy as he was a fellow Raptor Ninja. There were so few around that Kodo was glad to be around any at all. He now knew of Three Raptor ninja; this boy Zetsumei, Himself, and Tamotsu-sensei’s friend Tsubame.

“Genjutsu isn’t something I specialize in. Nor does my branch of the clan. Still The Raptor Clan does have a branch that does just that. If what I read is correct then you should fall under just that branch.”

Kodo pulled out a large scroll and opened it. “See the Raptor clan is split into five different styles; or Branches. They are the Fukurou(Owl), Hagetaka(Vulture), Hayabusa(Peregrine Falcon), Taka(Hawk), and finally Washi(Eagle). Each branch specializes in a bird fighting style based on their Bird of Prey partner. I fall under the Hayabusa branch as my partner is a Peregrine Falcon.” Kodo rolled up the scroll and pulled out a smaller one. “As your partner is a Vulture, which would place you under the Hagetaka branch. This branch is like the black sheep of the clan as it specializes in Genjutsu and Ninjutsu rather then the Taijutsu we are known for.”

Kodo handed Zetsumei the small scroll. “This is the only known Genjutsu that I have found for this clan. It is very powerful and you may not be strong enough to learn it yet. Still keep this scroll with you and open it once you feel you are ready.” Kodo got up from the rock and started to walk back over to the dummy. “If you have any questions about Ninjutsu then feel free to ask.”

Kodo stood the training dummy back up and readied himself to continue his training. Kodo placed his hands in the Bird hand sign then took one more quick glance back to Zetsumei before his chakra surged from his body and he once again smashed the dummy into the air…

OOC: Sorry for the wait, been pretty-damn busy around here, heh.

IC: Zetsumei looks down with some sadness after being told that Genjutsu wasn't Kodo's specialty, but he should've known that being that all, but himself, of the Raptor Clan Shinobi use mostly Taijutsu and Ninjutsu as their fighting styles, but watches as he pulls out a Scroll, assuming that it's the Clan's Scroll being that he's naming off the Styles of the Clan. But, upon not hearing the Style that he uses, the Vulture, or "Hagetaka" Style, isn't within the Scroll, he looks down at the ground with some sadness. He hears him putting back the Scroll, and taking out another, which causes him to look back up to see what he's doing, and sees that he's taking out a MUCH smaller Scroll than the previous one, which peeks his curiosity on what's inside of it, so he watches and listens to Kodo. Upon hearing that it contains a Genjutsu that the Clan actually uses, he perks up, and takes it from him, placing it inside his left side pouch on his left leg, and just smiles, even upon hearing that he's probably too weak to learn the Jutsu, but knows that he'll be able to learn it sometime in the near future, but, until then, he only wishes to learn some of the basic Jutsus, and one or two of the Clan's Jutsus.

Kodo-san, when you get some time to, could you please teach me some new Jutsus, and maybe one or two of our Clan Jutsus?

EDIT: This is taking a little too long for me; I'll have to leave abruptly. Don't want to miss the event.

IC: The swallowing darkness seemed to embrace her at this time. It mellowed her wild thoughts and mimicked the empty white which blocked her memories. She had a diluted hate for it; the hate grew at a moment's notice but softened from her inner calm in another. Her brooding had brought her up into the depths of this ancient temple; abandoned and without name. The heavy smell of florals and fungi wafted up from the damp corners. She had chosen the route without the open ceiling; the bright patches of light would ruin her perfectly good depressing and thoughtful mood. So caught up in her mood she abruptly came out of the indoor temple to walk amongst a training grounds with two young boys staring back at her.

A quick scan gathered enough information; they were shinobi, training, and dangerous enough for her to be on edge. The first thought was why they were here but in all honesty they could ask her the same question. In a subtle move she kept her arm close to her waist, carefully thumbing the hilt of her katana. Just as quickly as she had entered she had an urge to leave; it felt as if the distant city was abuzz with life.

“I shall teach what I can to you young one. The rest will be up to you to learn. Our paths are as different as the birds we partner with. I will teach you the basics and can do no more. I myself am still learning.” With that Kodo looked into the sky at his elusive target and followed at great speed. His chakra pored out of him pushing Kodo higher till he was satisfied that this was high enough. He looked down on the dummy who was slowing its incline. Gravity was taking over and that was just what Kodo was waiting for. Kodo positioned himself for the attack and released a burst of chakra sending him downward to his target. Kodo blinked and in that moment all time seemed to stop. Maybe it was the training’s strain on his chakra or just lightheadedness from being at that altitude and dropping fast, whatever it was everything seemed to move in slow motion. Kodo could feel every second go by as if a minute. Kodo pulled out his shuriken and readied himself for the impending impact…

Every one of Kodo’s senses were on high as he swung and struck the dummy in its chest cavity. Kodo could feel the sharpness of the shuriken as they pierced and split the dummy’s chest open. Kodo flew past his target and repositioned. Kodo could feel a rush in him like never before. The thrill of the hunt and the satisfaction of the kill. His prey was still alive and struggling thus another strike would be needed. Kodo dive bombed the dummy again and swiped. This time the full force of Kodo’s attack landed in the center of the dummy’s body causing it to crack. As with the first strike Kodo passed by his prey and positioned himself for another needed attack. The force and speed of Kodo’s attacks became stronger and faster with each successful strike. By the time the Dummy finally hit the ground it was traveling at backbreaking speed, as Kodo had struck 6 times before the finishing blow.

Kodo landed seconds after the dummy and toppled onto the ground. He was spent and could do little more then rest for the time being. His training was done for the day. He would do no more till his chakra recovered. Kodo looked behind him to see Zetsumei wide eyed sitting on the rock. It was then Kodo remembered that the day wasn’t finished just yet. He gave promise to train the boy and he wouldn’t go back on his word. Kodo struggled to get up and then walked calmly over to his fellow Raptor ninja. “So what is it you wish to learn first?”

OOC: Ok, posting now.

IC: Watches in amazement as Kodo performs such an awesome Jutsu, and his eyes are "literally" coming out from his head, and his mouth is opened up all the way. He knows that he couldn't master anything like that because Taijutsu just isn't a style that he prefers, and would rather attack from the distance anyway, but if he were to use Taijutsu, it'd be more for a killing attack with a Kunai or something, but, even then, he may still attack from the distance. As Zetsumei watches him more, he finally realizes what he's doing, so he "gets rid of it", then nods his head to Kodo before answering his questions, as he jumps down from the rock that he's been sitting on this whole time, and dusting himself off.

Well, Kodo-san, I would like to learn all the Basic Jutsus that a Genin must learn before they can enter into the Chuunin Exams. As a Chuunin, I know you know all of them, right? After that, if I'm still alive that is, I would probably also love to learn some of our Clan Jutsus that aren't Taijutsu.
