OOC: I changed it so my character didnt know that your guy was a vampire. Sorry I just thought people would be like, sharp teeth and all that blood he's drinking =P
IC: Chiisuchianu laughed at what the Hokage had said, he liked a straight forward kinda guy; no BS and that was good. Chiisuchianu wished he could have laughed at whatever it was the Hokage was laughing at concerning the (what appeared to be a--) "joke" about his butler bleeding, but he was afraid he just didnt quite get it. Chiisuchianu figured he wouldnt ask seeing as the Hokage continued to talk anyways. Chiisuchianu was now intrested in why the Hokage was intrested in his family, but he figured he'd let it slide and said: "Well for one my family and I take care of a few diplomatic matters here and there between the people of the Fire Country, but I think I know what your getting at, my Bloodline right?" Many people had seemed intrested by Chiisuchianu's bloodline trait so it was no surprise to him. Chiisuchianu just figured he would continue by describing it, "Well my bloodline oddly enough is more of a 'Souline'," he said chuckling, "We have unique abilities the main one being our use of swords, but these arent just any ordinary swords, they are living and have aspects of our soul aswell." Chiisuchianu then thought the Hokage might be wondering why he didnt have a sword of his own so Chiisuchianu figured he would get that out of the way now, "And the reason I dont have one of these 'living swords' is because I simply havent trained that aspect of my bloodline, though someday I recon I will learn to wield my soul's sword. Does that clear things up for you in that area?" Chiisuchianu asked politely making sure he was covering all the bases. _________________

OOC: nope, they look perfectly human. wings and fangs are normally hidden and the blood drinking thing... well, it's complicated, but it's not a necessity
IC: Ukyo slowly nodded as he listened to Chiisuchianu. It was a bloodline limit, or at least something akin to it, just as he expected. But there was still something else different, since the nobleman before him wasn't the only person with a bloodline he had ever seen. This thing was slightly reminiscent of his own mental aura, but a vampire's aura was so drastically different from a human's that he wasn't sure which part was alike. The thirst for blood? Surely not. The inner darkness? Possibly, but seeing as how he described his clan's abilities, unlikely. Psychic abilities? That could be it, but something tells me it isn't. That pretty much just leaves the increased life span... and it seems more likely than the rest, but I'm still not sure. Well, whatever. He smiled again and said: We didn't speak to each other directly before, and I'm afraid I've forgotten what your name was, Shihouin-san. Would you remind me, please? Ukyo hoped he didn't sound rude. People said he could really talk like a pro when he tried, but he never really learned, and was completely ignorant of the etiquette in noble families. Yeah, this is one thing I could certainly learn from Rera, if nothing else, - he thought. That sounds like a most interesting blood, or soul, line, - he said after hearing Chiisuchianu's reply, - but then I must ask. Why did you just tell me about it right after I asked, without trying to conceal anything? Even if I am the current Hokage, how can you know you can trust me? _________________

Chiisuchianu didn't take the Hokage's first statement with any insult, infact Chiisuchianu had always hated the whole idea of "proper edicate" he figured it was better if people just acted the way they were and shot straight. Chiisuchianu replied to the Hokage's first statement, "My first name is Chiisuchianu, seeing as you already know my House Name it is unecisary to address that." Chiisuchianu continued to listen to what the Hokage had to say, now here was something he felt awkward about while hearing. The Hokage was asking Chiisuchianu if he could trust him? Chiisuchianu thought that it was the Hokage's soul purpose and job to protect the people rather than looking after his own best intrest. Chiisuchianu figured he might be testing him, but he wasnt sure so he said, "Well let's face it, that's just the basics to the Bloodline. And who hasn't heard of what the Uchiha can do or what the Nara are capable of? There are secrets to each clan as Im sure your well aware of, but believe me, I have not revealed anything to you that isn't already commonly known about my Bloodline Limit." Chiisuchianu figured he'd leave it at that. There was no way he would tell anyone about the nature behind the swords such as Bankai and Shikai, and he definately wouldnt tell them about his new jutsu or any of the "Kido Spells" that his clan possessed (it was only natural for Clans to hide these powers from others). Chiisuchianu looked at him square in the eyes as if trying to decipher what the Hokage meant by his statement. _________________

What you say is true, but that is because those clans are too famous for their own good. Knowing the techniques of someone who possesses a bloodline limit is the key to defeating them, since they rely on it heavily, whether they realize it or not. Not one of them is able to escape that, - Ukyo said, looking to the sky. Probably except for me, since I didn't have the bloodline since birth. But let's not count on that. He looked back at Chiisuchianu. I can see you are surprised by my question. Allow me to explain. It is the duty of a Hokage to protect the village and everyone in it, but, I've seen several people who held that position, enjoying the privileges but not fulfilling their duties. In fact, every single Hokage since Sasiko Gonati was unworthy of the position. Ky Inuzuka never attempted to reinforce it and then, one day, he left. Renima the seventh Hokage only sought to increase his own power, until the very day he died. Inuzuka Tamotsu, the previous Hokage, seemed to be better than the ones before him. But he too had left, and destroyed the scrolls containing the secret techniques passed down in the Hidden Leaf for generations, thus betraying not only the people, but the very Spirit of Fire which a true Hokage, like Sandaime, is supposed to uphold. In short, what I'm saying is, don't follow your superior blindly, even if he or she is supposed to be a great person. I was foolish enough to make that mistake. As a result, many powerful jutsus which were the results of hard work of many shinobi are now lost. Ukyo sighed and looked to the sky once again. If there is anything I realized from all that, is that a Kage cannot, must not rule the village alone. He needs at least a few people he can consult on any serious matter, and it would be better if those people were all very different, so the Kage is able to see a problem from several points of view. Ah, sorry, I'm rambling. You are probably not interested in what I have to say about this. _________________

Chiisuchianu listened intently to what the Hokage had to say to him, he indeed agreed with every word in which the Hokage was saying to him. He thought to himself, if his actions reflected that which he had just said, then indeed this Hokage was someone strong and good-willed worthy of following. Chiisuchianu spoke up, "No, what you say is absolutly true. I agree with every word that you have spoken and indeed agree with you on those points." Chiisuchianu spoke up and said with confidence and deep truth behind every word, "I would like to be considered one of people you may come to consult about serious matters." Chiisuchianu paused for a second, thinking about what he had to say because every word he said he had truely meant it, "I wish only for that which is best for the people, as did the first five hokages of Konoha. I see things eye to eye with that of Sandaime and his policies of putting the people before himself. I too wish to protect the Village and its people and would go to any ends to achieve this, even if the Hokage himself ordered me not to, I would do what was best for the people. I do not follow my leaders blindly." Chiisuchianu had moved out of his polite and formal speech as he would normally do when a talking to another noble, but when talking of doing good in the world, he just could not hold himself back from saying what he truely felt and thought. "So as you can see, I heed your words well, and have already acted in such accords. This is why I am growing stronger, and this is why I learn the arts of a medical shinobi. I dont like the medical arts, but I am a skilled chakra controller despite my affinity for taijutsu and I wanted to learn some strong jutsu to help others, I attain power for the people and not for myself. Do you understand what I mean?" _________________

Ukyo nodded. I understand. It has always been the way of the Leaf shinobi to protect those who needed it, to look out for each other. I honestly believe it is the true way of the world, to seek power to help others rather than for the sole purpose of being stronger. Unfortunately, most people are too limited to see that, and there are others, who corrupt this ideal and instead spread the belief that might makes right. Even among the shinobi of Konoha, you don't see the Spirit of Fire often enough. It is indeed hard to retain during hardships, and the world had seen too many wars in the past few years, and something tells me there are more to come. For this reason, I am traveling to see someone who could help us bring an end to this. He turned towards the noble and continued: I will be honored to have you as a... "special advisor". Which reminds me, - he reached into his kunai pouch and took out a scroll, - Here. This scroll contains information about the Shadow Clone technique, one of the secret techniques of the Leaf village. I am sure it will be useful to you, - he said, giving the scroll to Chiisuchianu. What are you doing? Giving such an important thing to this guy, and you barely know him! One who is not willing to put his trust into others will never have people he can trust or be trusted. Um... what? Damn, you're dense as a rock! What I said is, by taking a risk you can often get a bigger reward! Oh. I'm afraid I have to go now. There is someone I have to meet, and I'm not sure he will remain in place for long. If I don't see him now, I might miss my only chance. I'll see you around, - he finished nonchalantly and headed off. _________________

Chiisuchianu said, "Thanks, I shall put it to use for the protection of Konoha and its people, and remeber, if there is any way in which I can be a tool for you to protect Konoha and its people you let me know, and I shall gladly do it." With that Chiisuchianu nodded as his Lord Hokage headed off... indeed Chiisuchianu had finally met someone who thought of the world as he did. That made him feel good inside.
Chiisuchianu was on a roll, he wasn’t about to stop training his Jutsu, not after the gap in learning that had occurred between his growth from Genin to Chuunin. And even as a Chuunin he had two powerful jutsu, but he was lacking in the area compared to most. He had a lot of growing to do here still and now it was time for him to get down to the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. He would learn it as a good core skill that most Jounin level Shinobi knew. He was going to train it yesterday and try and get the jutsu done and mastered, but that Bird Summoning Contract had just happened upon him and he got caught up in earning the respect of the birds. No matter though, he found the Summoning Contract to be more useful to him than what he could imagine the Kage Bunshin would be, because it actually supplied him with some of his only friends. Chiisuchianu got up, his head still feeling groggy and numb from the rigor of the Bird’s Trial to see if he was worthy. Chiisuchianu forced himself up and into the Kitchen to make his special “hangover” mix that usually cleared his head right up. After drinking the foul thing he grabbed his gear and headed out the door and into the bustle of Konoha. Chiisuchianu quickly made his way down back alleys and side streets, then he scaled the wall and hopped over into the dense forest to begin his training in the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. Chiisuchianu found his training spot a lot quicker than last time; he was finally getting the hang of his well hidden path and training area that it led to. Grabbing a hidden scroll under one of the trees Chiisuchianu began his reading. It was research and information on various jutsu, most notably the Kage Bunshin. Chiisuchianu started out: “To make a clone that has both aspects of being a copy, and real one must first—“the scroll carried on with its in-depth description and details on how the Kage Bunshin was actually performed. Chiisuchianu thought long and hard... carefully to himself on what the reading was actually saying. Thoughts and ideas began popping into his head as he reviewed each step of the training process and how it was done, looking over the aspects of the final product and what he had to do to get to that point. Chiisuchianu realized he had one hell of a ways to go to get to this point. It was a highly advanced jutsu, even for Jounin, yet it was so elementary and core, a basis for many jutsu and strategy in the ninja world. Chiisuchianu continued his reading coming back to the start. First step: formation of clones must be flawless. Yup, he was already very capable in that area, he gazed on to the next one. Second step: induce chakra into the clone so as to give it a material or tangible aspect. There was a side note on this part that Chiisuchianu picked up on quickly. It said that to do this Chiisuchianu would have to alter the properties of the basic clone jutsu itself into making it a ninjutsu, not a genjutsu. To do this the scroll suggested some various methods and steps. One of them involved knowledge of the elemental clones, but Chiisuchianu didn’t know anything about them, he had never made clones that weren’t genjutsu in his life. That was out, he wouldn’t be able to base his Kage Bunshin off of that so he looked at the other suggestions listed on the scroll. One said that it was very similar to creating a ninjutsu attack. Ninjutsu with force and substance were a ways of pulling together one’s abilities and creating a tangible copy. Chiisuchianu thought hard on this. He didn’t really know any ninjutsu that had an actually force behind them either... other than his Healing Hands Technique. Chiisuchianu decided that it would be best if he went to the next suggestion which was to try and envision your own bodily makeup and structure, especially your chakra circulatory system and then to create a clone with similar properties. This he could do, and in fact he was probably better at it with his medical background and knowledge of the body and the chakra circulatory system. Indeed this was the key that would allow him to make his clones tangible.
Chiisuchianu began with the unique hand sign involved in the creation of Shadow Clones and started off with a fierce release of chakra just to get himself warmed up. A puff of smoke appeared and with it a copy of himself. Chiisuchianu examined the copy, then touching it he found that the clone faded away as if it was indeed a simple genjutsu, but not quite a genjutsu... Chiisuchianu found that it had some tangibility to itself, almost like a thick mist that you could just barely feel on the outside of your skin. Chiisuchianu figured he would have done better on his first try, but he was not entirely disappointed seeing that it was his first try and he had actually given it an essence of being, even though it was a slight tangibility, it was still there. Chiisuchianu figured he would try again, but this time he would focus more on what he was doing with the recreation of his chakra circulatory system, because he had heard that Kage Bunshins actually have systems of their own and when done properly people with doujutsu even cant discern the difference between a real person and a clone until they hit it. Perhaps this was the key Chiisuchianu thought to himself. He began mapping out the chakra circulatory system in his head, he would try and make an artificial one through his clone this time, something that would hold it up. Over that must be where the bunshin part comes into play, masking the chakra circulatory system with a veil that appeared like the person who had done the jutsu. Thinking on this very long and hard Chiisuchianu finally decided it was time for him to make another calculated guess on his clone. The copy would be made along those lines he had just thought out in his head. Chiisuchianu began, “Shadow Clone Jutsu!” he said. And with yet another poof of smoke a copy of himself appeared. Chiisuchianu approached this one and put his hand on it to touch it. It had form and shape and tangibility! Chiisuchianu thought he had done it, but realized that it wasn’t the form and shape that a human actually had, he couldn’t feel its clothing or its skin with muscle, only the chakra circulatory system flowing beneath all of it. Damn it Chiisuchianu thought to himself, there is another step another secret I’m missing here, creating the fine tuned details of the clone, the aspects that made it a truly powerful and pure clone, one for the records. Chiisuchianu went back into thought, he was improving drastically each time... to be expected of a Jounin on his level, but he wasn’t quite getting it down. He had to figure out a way to give the body of the clone actual shape and structure, this he figured would be done by making the clone emit its own shape and form with the help of Chiisuchianu forming the outer shape of course. Yes, Chiisuchianu thought, a sound plan. The only question now was how he would get his clones to do that. Chiisuchianu figured he would have to give the clone a mind and some sort of self emission trigger. These things would not come easy, but would be the hump he must overcome in creating a true Shadow Clone. Here goes nothing Chiisuchianu said to himself as he tried once more to create a stable and shapely clone. “Shadow Clone Jutsu,” he said once more. A poof of smoke making a new copy of himself appear. This time Chiisuchianu was almost sure he had it. Walking up to the clone Chiisuchianu touched it feeling the shape and figure he had just now created. Indeed the clone had structure and depth down to most every detail, good he thought to himself, now he was getting somewhere. Before he knew it he figured he’d be making perfect clones with the best of them. But when Chiisuchianu tried to make his clone get into motion it just stood there, motionless. It was a mass of chakra, form and structure, yet it couldn’t even take a step to the left or move its big toe if Chiisuchianu wanted. What a disappointment. It became evident to Chiisuchianu that he had not created the clone’s “mind” which would allow him to control it and have it perform his own basic attacks and actions without much thought. This would be the hard part...
So now he was making a mind eh? Well he could think of various ways to control that, one being if his clones were to work like remote control cars. Telling them directions and the know how on how to perform and attack, but the fact was a true master could link the clones up to their very mind and give it their own thought patterns and properties, not just control it through the subconscious. That was where the masters differentiated from the true losers who weren’t really doing the actual jutsu in the first place. Chiisuchianu kept this in mind as he started working on the “mind” of his clones. He had to repeatedly make clones of the same makeup and structure in attempt to recreate the “mind” it wasn’t getting any easier for him either. Chiisuchianu thought to himself as he continued to make new clones. Each one he gave a new aspect of control and with each one he built its control up a little higher. But it was only one or two small things he would end up adding, which quite frankly wasn’t good enough. Chiisuchianu would need to figure out something better if he was to progress with this jutsu in ways that actually made a difference. He was making no great leaps and bounds in the training at this point and decided to go back to the scroll. Chiisuchianu looked at the scroll once more; there indeed was a section that addressed the problem he was having. Chiisuchianu continued to read this and found that he wasn’t building that area of his clones quite right. It required him formulating that area of the chakra circulatory system which, quite frankly, was no easy task. Chiisuchianu knew this would take much more of his time until he finally got it down so he carried on with that in mind. He didn’t want to get disappointed which would lead him to getting down on himself and then the jutsu would only take yet longer to learn. Chiisuchianu cracked off another couple clones, these ones improved drastically in the area of motor control in comparison to the rest. Chiisuchianu was glad to see that he was making such large improvements now (well large compared to before). He figured it would be many more clones until he would reach that level but he was prepared to put them in. Chiisuchianu was sweating now as the hours passed and the time he was putting in was literally unbelievable to him. He had heard that the boy “Naruto” had learned the jutsu in only a matter of a few hours... and Chiisuchianu was a Jounin and the jutsu was about to take him an entire day. Chiisuchianu went back to thinking about his training deciding he was getting down on himself to much which was leading to disaster in his training. Thinking more positively Chiisuchianu was back to work and yes, he was doing it better now, the positive thinking was actually working a little bit here for him. His clones could now move around like normal people with some basic functions, but they still could not quite think like him, like a full fledged Jounin Shinobi. It continued on like this throughout the day, but Chiisuchianu was getting a lot better at it. He could sense his clones were near perfection and could smell the end of the line where he was going to come in with a victory. The only problem was he was going to have to practice a bit into the night judging by the setting sun. This made Chiisuchianu double his efforts and train even harder on the Shadow Clone. Chiisuchianu could now make one fully capable Shadow Clone, and he was working towards many more. He could feel his muscles a little tense because of the adrenaline pumping through him, oh how he wanted to get done! He could feel his chakra too, it was coming up near empty despite the aid he was getting to replenish his chakra (plenty of good food and water). Chiisuchianu was working along quite well though and was confident he could finish the jutsu before he ran himself down to completely empty. Chiisuchianu added another clone to his arsenal with each passing half of the hour. This was by far the fastest progress he had made with the jutsu since the start of his training. But a truly skilled Shinobi could make many more clones, around one hundred if they were good enough. Chiisuchianu was at a meager ten and the night was already starting to settle in. Chiisuchianu decided that more chakra might be the answer, but he didn’t exactly want to sacrifice the element of chakra conservation while using the jutsu, that was a key part to true “perfection” balancing the amount of chakra used with the result obtained. If he had to use to much then the jutsu wouldn’t even be worth it. Chiisuchianu decided to keep to controlling himself and his chakra. He went into the night as the hourse passed and soon found himself with a completed Shadow Clone Jutsu!
OOC: Im going to use some of Sench's medicine since it worked so well for him... my post concerning the learning of the jutsu contains: 2,341 Words is 3 Pages long contains 10,641 characters (not including spaces) and is 144 lines on my microsoft word word count.
And I ditto what Sench said about some other guy only having like 9,000 some characters and less lines than me. Long story short according to Sench that guy got a +8 so I think I deserve one aswell. =) _________________
