Charoo noticed his companions increase in pace. He smiled he could run faster but he didn't want to lose her. So he went just fast enough to stay behind her. Charoo heard her question. "See what I mean charoo she barely survives in the village” said unikurin. Charoo became very embarrassed. “man I didn't know I had it this good" thought charoo. “Are you surprised you parents were famous ninja" said unikurin. “I guess your right' thought charoo as he spoke to maruko. "Uh in this bag is some clothes ninja gear a few personal items and food" said charoo as he picked up his pace a little. just enough that he was just a few steps in front of her.

Maruko smiled lightly. Obviously, he was trying to prove that he was faster than her or something. She took a deep breath and started to run into the village, passing up Charoo's walk and running into the village. She hadn't this much fun in ages!

She bent her body close to the ground and looked over her shoulder and yelled,"Hurry up, Slowpoke! Or i'll leave you behind!"

She didn't know what had possesed her to do this, but it felt kind of good to let go of all her troubles and just do something fun for once! Right now she couldn't care less that her parents were dead, or that she was helping a missing-ninja, or that she might not eat tonight, or even what Jikota might do once he found out, right now she didn't care about anything. She was so caught up in the running that she rammed into a vendor selling cabages, and fell on her butt onto the ground. As she sat there on the ground, she just started laughing, loud and crazily.

Charoo accepted her challenge and started running full pace. He was faster than her but she seemed like she didn’t care. Till she slammed into a vender making his wares go everywhere. Maruko just started laughing like a small child. "Wow she's weirder than you” said unikurin as charoo helped her up. The cabbage owner started yelling at them saying things like. "My poor cabbage" and "who will pay for this." charoo stood up and looked at the man he took out his coin bag. He handed him some money "there you go" said charoo as he put his full bag of coin away into his bag. He looked at the girl" wow are you okay" charoo asked slightly afraid that she was hurt.

Maruko brushed herself off and stretched out a little bit."I'm fine, this kind of stuff happens all the time to me! Now, I would love to give you the grand tour, but I have other things to attend to. So if you go down that way, she pointed to the road they had been going along, and take a right, you should come to a fountain. You can a drink there, that's where I always drink. After you've done that, hang a left and keep going left until you hit this scraggly, little tree in the front of this shack. That's where I live, and you can stay there for a little while, at least until I get back."

Then she took off her pack and gave it to Charoo."Here, could you take this for me? Could you sell that at the market? It's the least you can do for my hospitality." THen she spun around and headed back towards the village gat again. As she left she called over her shoulder,"Thanks for the race, and be a good boy while i'm gone!".

Charoo was annoyed. "What am I a dog" thought charoo as he put the small pouch into his bag. "Charoo don’t do what your thinking of doing” said unikurin. Charoo ignored him and started walking to the fountain and got a drink. It was a bit warm but it felt good going down his throat. Charoo turned and started walking toward the gate. "Charoo I know what you’re thinking don’t do it" warned unikurin. Charoo again ignored him charoo went down an alley and performed some hand signs. "Shunpo no justu" charoo reappeared on the roof top of a building. "Henge no Jutsu" he transformed himself into martial artist looking man with a brown gi on and a sword on his thigh. "Charoo listen please just leave this village and go back to the leaf" pled unikurin. Charoo looked at his sword and smiled. "Don’t worry I just want to see were she is going" he said calmly he jumped from rooftop to rooftop till he got near the front entrance. He jumped down and went outside the village.
