A Sound Mind [Training/Scene's; Open to All]

After close to 15 minutes I decided I had to try it. I slowly tried to will my body to stand up; this wasn't as easy as it may sound. My body simply wouldn't response; it chose to lie there as the sun continued to drain it of what little energy it had left to call its own. After several minute I managed to will my body to finally roll up off the rock, cracking many times as it did so. I managed to get myself to full height; once I did this I slowly move my right arm up across my chest, causing my elbow to crack again. I reached out and gentle grasped the hilt of my katana with my right hand. I then slung my right arm up and out, causing the blade it quickly slide out of the sheath. I then swung the blade down low to my right hand side, causing that ever familiar whistling noise as the blade cut the air on the way down.

I held the hilt gentle in my right hand, squeezing it tightly every few moments. In one clean sweep I sent the blade flying up through the air from the right side of my body, all the way over to my left. I then loosened my grip on the hilt and twirled it in my hand as I brought it back down to my right hand side, I loved the whistling sound and small pressure as the blade sliced the air. I took a deep breath and crouched lower to the ground, centering and lowering my center of gravity to give myself more balance and control for the new Jutsu that I was about to undertake and attempt for the very first time.

I looked out over the field, around 25 meters away from my was a tall tree that was out further from the forest then the rest of the trees. It was a tall oak tree, it was beautiful. I took a deep breath and through back to the scroll. I slowly ease my grip on the hilt by loosening my right had slightly. I reached through my body, drawing chakra through my body to my mind, and then down through to the blade. I glanced down quickly at the Katana and saw the blade lengthen an extra 3 feet. I then sent Chakra down to my feet and began to run as fast as I could at the target, I had never moved at this speed before. I took a quick glimpse to the left as I battled with the resistance of the wind to see the trees were all a blur.

I slowly, with a great effort managed to battle the devastating wind force being slammed onto my neck, to get my head back facing the direction I was traveling. As I looked forward I saw my target was basically right in front of me. Using all of the strength in my right arm, I swung the katana around at the tree, finding it amazingly easy to slice through the oncoming air with the razor like sword. The Katana sent a shockwave up my arm as it slammed into the ancient tree. Everything was back to normal. I stood in shock breathing heavily, I slowly bent my neck and glanced up at the place were I cut into the tree, this is the part were I gasped; the blade had traveled through a meter of solid oak wood. I rested my boot on the tree and ripped the sword free, sheathing it back onto my back. I then began the walk back over to the stone by the lake, still in shock.

Description: A genjutsu technique that makes the victim believe that he/she is in a totally different surrounding than they really are. This can create an advantage for the user because only the user would have the true idea of the layout of the battlefield, while their opponent does not.]

As i was heading to the stone I sighed deeply and decided, Bugger this, I’m in the mood, May as well keep going while I’m on a roll. I quickly spun on my foot and started heading back to the house, grabbing the scroll on the way. I walked quickly all the way back to the house. Once there I went back down to the office, but the scroll away in the Clan Master office and quietly got out a new one. I looked it over, It was another Genjutsu, More demonic illusions. Should be good to know I guess. I quickly got up and pocketed the scroll and turned around, leaving the house behind once more.

As I stepped out onto the street, left foot first as always, I looked around. It was around nine at night, well that’s what I was estimating at least. I began to walk down the main street of the village, Oto was different at night. As I walked I listened there wasn't birds or children, It was laughter and the sounds of fights as I’m guessing some people have had abit much sake. I smirked to myself as I walked past a drunk being wrestle to the ground via Oto-Law-Enforcement. What a town I thought to myself as I walked off through the off-roads and out towards the trees. Once I was there I saw it, My Training Ground. I walked in through the trees and stop, I was shocked when I saw that there were lights in-built to the trees around the ground, I smiled to myself, Convenient

After I finished gaping at the lights, I slowly walked across the field. As I walked I noted that the ground was cooler then it was before, the due was coming back already. I avecnhly made it to the other side of the training ground and I sat down on the rock near the lake again as I pulled out the scroll of the new Jutsu. I read over the Scroll many times, over and over. Hm, so it’s a Genjutsu that makes my opponent think we are at a different location. So they could think we are in the desert, when we are really in a forest. Handy. I took a deep breath as I finished readying over the scroll. I placed it down next to me, looked up at the stars and simply smiled.

After around 10 minutes I slowly opened my eyes and began to sit back up, strains through my body as I did so due to tiredness. Once I was finally sitting up at full height I began to read over and over the Hand-Seal and Chakra control system required for this particular Jutsu. It was pretty basic really, I was happy. I stood up and looked back down at the scroll. I then slowly performed each hand seal that was described on the scroll slowly. I then re-performed all of the hand-seals at full speed whilst performing the needed Chakra control throughout my body. I sighed to myself, after the others I had learnt to do, this was boring as hell. I smirked to myself as I sat down, Im actually complaining because I can do something with ease.

I paused for a second, thinking to myself, Alright, it’s pointless but I guess I should practice this on someone. I slowly started walking over to the other side of the field. I looked up into the sky as I walked, suddenly mesmerized by the moon. It made me smile slightly, bringing me out of my foolish mood. As I reached the road I saw a randomly villager, I opened my mouth and called out to them man gentle, 'Hey, come give me a hand with this, Im a Chunnin with Oto'. He simply started and turned away from me, Son of a..., I opened my mouth again and yelled this time, forcefully, 'OI, Get over here and do as I say or il relieve you of your life'. This time he seemed to jump, he did what I said from that moment on.

I instructed the man to stand on one side of a tree, about a meter from it. I stood on the other side, around the same distance from it. I then sent my hands down to my waist, performing each of the seals that were required whilst doing my chakra system, I performed Magen: Kokuni Arazu no Jutsu. The man didn't react at all, Mmm, Wonder if it worked. One way to find out. I called out to the man, 'Walk to me'. The man nodded, then walked directly into the tree, apparently he couldn't see it. I burst out laughing, then released the Jutsu and dismissed the man. I walked slowly over to my rock, still laughing. Well, that’s another mastered I guess. As I reached the rock I slowly lowered my body down to the ground using the rock to support me. I leant my back and head against the rock, and slowly drifted off to sleep.
