Seeing her cousin pull out his polearm she touchs her palm with one finger as her 5'staff appears in her hand"now you are asking for it"she says twirling the staff around her landing in a unique staff style of tai chi and Shaolin."now you shall see my unique staff work"she says moveing her feet to match the mix of styles.She streatches her legs out and moves her right leg outinfron like that of the shaolin style.she bends her left leg,moveing her left arm high holding the staff at an agle and her right arm down straight holding her staff."make your move cousin,"she says in her stance"you have always made the first move"

Arashi was noticably surprised by the palm seal. "How did she get that," he wondered out loud, shrugged momentaraly before standing up strait, leaning the yari against his shoulder as he made a handseal. He knew he didn't need a seal for these two jutsus, but he had learned long ago that seals were useful in stimulating chakra. With that he held his staff in a manner symilar to his cousin. Right leg out, left bent as she did. However, even though the footwork was identicle, the grip was much different. He had his left arm down and back, holding the yari a foot away from the blade, which was still facing back. His right arm held the grip at the center, his arm out in midway between his shoulders, but level with his belt. He then thrust out quickly, aiming right at the right shoulder. With her stance it should be a difficult attack to block, but none the less, he did not expect her to fall for it and was merely testing her reaction to the strike.

Seeing her cousines attack she moves her staff to the right bringing he body up wraping her cousines yari between her and her staff puling it in toward herself"bad idea"she says holding the yari close to her body as she spins pulling her cousin to her and pulling the yari out of his hands flying into the stump."my turn"she says heading right at her cousin wraping the staff around her and up behind her pushing the staff behind her back guideing the staff with her left hadn puling around her and sending it out again.She moves inside of his guard bringing the staff down behind him clipping his legs bringhim down to the ground unless he can move quick enough to get behind her."your mine" she says looking at her cousin.

He grinned "She is damn good, nearly had me too," he muttered under his breath. Instead of tapping the back of his knees, she hit his lower legs, giving him the chance he needed. He backflipped planting both legs right into her stomach, halting the flip, instead shooting him back from her. "Senpuu no Mai," he completed the flip, landing expertly on the ground. But she was in between him an his staff. "How did she get this good, problably one of the best in the clan, and genin too?" He could not understand why she was still that rank, she deserved much better. He smiled though as he got into a stance he used specifly for dodging. He had his standard footwork, right forward, left bent, but his right hand was out, his fist a foot in front of his shoulder. He arm was down and facing forward, palm up, in a knife hand. He waited for the next attack.

She is pushed back a bit stoping in between Arashi and his weapon "i dont know if i mentioned this but while i was in the snow i trained in my staff work and fighting style"she says throwing her staff over near Arashis'.She moves her hands infornt of her left hand out slightly bent at the elbow and her right hand close to her chest ,a perfect guard, she bends her left knee slightly moving her right leg out in front of her and her left leg being bent. she takes on an air based stance of the Bagua."come cousin"she says as she takes off running at her cousin jumping into the air flipping behind him,she lands with a spin kick toward his head.

The third time today she surpised him, first the seal, then her insteresting staff style including amazing skill with it. Now she is a master of hand to hand as well? "Maybe not," he thought aloud, realizing her mistake, as she sailed over him to plant a kick to the back of his head. She had landed on one leg, using he momentum to spin into a powerful kick, proplem for her, it wasn't going to land. He spun around, rotating so his knife hand touched the ground, providing the axis he spun around, kicking her other leg out from under her as the action ducked him under the first. He then continued the spin, momentum helping him upright as he stopped, standing on one leg like a T, all his momentum going into one kick, stait to her stomach.

Hitting the ground Kanki looks up at her cousin"no i see how you became a chuunin"she says under her breath. Kanki spins around with her legs propeling her up onto her hands pushing off of the ground she lands back on her feet."not bad cousin"she says taking a stance she had before after she dropped the staff.the stance she took was a tai chi stance."come on cousin"she says waiting for his next attack.Kanki stands there in her stance and quickly makes the hand seals Dog Boar Tiger" Bushin no jutsu"she says forming a clone with her. both taking the tai chi stance.looking for a weakpoint in her cousins stance,spotting the way he is she sends the clone after him as she runs behind the clone they both to a legsweep at the same time knowing that he couldnt dodge two sweeps at once.

Arashi grinned at her attack, going into his same defensive stance. At the last moment he took a senbon from his belt with the right hand. Holding it the way one would a pensil, he crouched, on leg on the ground one upright, in a half kneel. He brought his knife hand up pushing the clones leg over him, and striking it in the ankle with the senbon to dispell it. He then had seconds to spare as he rolled forward, into his real cousins kick, both hands grapped the leg and he flipped over it, continuing to roll, before standing up and brushing off the dirt. He then put the senbon away, returning to his previous stance. "Bunshin are next to useless, unless using differing attacks to confuse or distract the opponent. However, you used it as if it were able to harm me, as if you were using it to increase the power of you attack. Although it could not affect me, it being a normal Bunshin, you treated it as a Kage Bunshin, something beyond both our ability. None the less. I treated it in the same way. Even a Kage Bunshin would have done nothing to me used in that manner. I do this to show you, your skills are equal to mine, if not above when it comes to close combat, your stratagy is not."

"i see what you mean cousin,"she says getting up from her leg sweep brushing off the dirt"now i see why you became a chuunin"she says to him with a smile.She walks over to the weapons picking up her stafff and sealing it again within her palm and throwing her cousins yeri."you know i would love to be able to learn more of the clans jutsu since we both are not busy"she says looking at the old training grounds remembering the day she was tought the first of the clans jutsus right there next to the tree that is now a stomp"Arashi i am ready to learn the next jutsu "she says looking at him.She walks over to her cousin and give him a hug"it is nice to see you again" she says .

"Its good to see you again too," Arashi said, hugged his cousin back, after setting his yari against the tree. "Ha, almost forgot," He said bounding up the stump. He returned with two trays of Tempura shrimp, "I made these when I heard you were back." He handed her a tray and began devouring shrimp from his own tray like he hadn't eaten in months. "As for the clan jutsu, I don't know. I will help you learn it but it often helps to know you have mastered the previous one, until your ready it won't really do to much. The annoying thing about the first and second jutsu, is that the first one you can learn as soon as you want. The second one you don't know when your ready until you've already learned it. After that you can basicly learn most right after you learn the one before. You just have to work hard. But the first one does't really do anything, unless you use another jutsu. If you don't know any others you can't tell if you have down the first. Well, whatever," Arashi continued, "lets just try and see how you do. Don't know until you try. Still lets have lunch than come back here." He began to head towards the forge, munching on shrinp as he walked.
