Along the wide shore of kirigakure, a patch of forrest covers a sizable area. It appears as a dark shroud with in the mist, uninviting to those that do not know the land. to others it is a safe haven, free from the busy village and a perfect place to hide for those who wish to avoid attention. the mist is very thick beneath the canopy of the trees, seeming to form a web that clings between each tree trunk.

Despite all of the dark and uninviting features of the wood, several creatures make thier home within. birds can almost constantly be heard chittering away in the shrouded branches while a variety of other small creatures scurry across the ground in search of food.

Deep inside, a faint figure sits unmoving on the branch of a large tree, almost invisable as he melded into his surroundings. from under a hood, two dark blue eyes gleamed, barely catching the light of the sun through in mist. They continuously shifted back and forth, seeing all that happened around him. A small bird landed on his shin but he paid it no mind, he simply continued to watch, expecting something out of the ordinary to happen at any moment.

Ensu had finished some training in the village and wanted to return home to show off to his family. He had a huge lump of pride burning inside his chest because he was able too learn some of his families jutsus on his own already. He still had several more before he was considered an adult within his large family.

As he was going he came across a large forest that was shrouded in mist and had a very large tree coming out of the center of it. "I want to climb it" He said out loud and then ran into the forest without a second thought. Once there he felt constricted on the ground so he climbed the first tree he came to and ran across the braches without slipping. He almost did several times because of the mist that was on the branches.

As he jumped form tree to tree he saw a lone figure at the base of one and without thinking he misted his step and fell several feet and caught himself on another branch that was eight feet off the ground. He jumped off and did a spin in the air and then landed safely. "Hello person..." He said enthusiastically with a childish voice.

The figure's eyes darted to a disturbance in the calm landscape. As the young shinobi appeared and addressed him, the bird flew away and he he sat up and straightened out his body so that both of his legs were resting on the branch rather that hanging off to the sides.

His fce was cloaked within the shadow of his hood and the rest of his body was covered by a black cloak. With a single unnoticable motion, Teiken was in his hand and ready to be used to defend himself. This however was purely habbit and he didn't expect to end up fighting the kid.

The sun went behind the cover of a cloud overhead and the already dark forrest turned pitch black for a moment while it moved overhead. He finally turned his head as if to acknowledge the Shinobi.

"How do you do."

"Well other than being a complete klutz in front of a stranger I'm am doing quite adequately for my young self." Ensu gripped his elemental chain whip and waited to put it to action if the task was needed, He hoped not as Ensu was not much for fighting but as his clan taught "if escape is not an option, fight to the death, and don’t allow yourself to be captured alive" That thought ran through his head as he prepared himself for what ever might happen to him in the next few moments. "How about yourself Mr. cloak man? My name is Raiton. Raiton, Ensu of Kirigakura" The boy bowed in respect except he did not use his hands, it was more like a slight nod because he didn’t want to take his sight off of the man before him.

An amused looked entered his eyes as the kid answered his question. Under his cloak, his grip on his blade relaxed and he allowed it to drop slightly so that the chain was in his grasp rather than the hilt. He shifted his possition again, making himself more comfortable now that it seemed the genin was not willing to fight. Noticing that the kid griped his own weapon in the same fasion that he had, he smiled slightly.

"Nice to meet you I suppose... my name is Zacara"

He noticed Ensu's caution once again as he introduced himself. He has the attitude of a shinobi allright..... a bit to casual, but who am i to say thats a bad thing....

For a split second, his eyes darted over his shoulder before immediatly returning to thier fixed position toward the genin. Still following his habits as a veteran, he had checked to see if anyone was disturbing his camp. everything was as it should be, hidden away behind a great deal of branches that covered a hole that served as an entrance to a thick hollowed out tree.

Ensu was puzzled by the man taking his eyes off of him. He thought about all of his lessons telling him to never take your eyes of an opponent and to act not respond according to that persons movements, but then he remembered something he learned from one of the sages of his village it was a quote and Ensu said it out loud. "forward view, move left and right, then back for in all directions does wisdom lay in weight for the searching eye" Ensu hoped this didn’t bother the man. "I'm sorry for that, just trying to understand you. I came alone and I’m returning to my clan, but for you to not look around and be alert of others who may lurk would be foolish so I apologize for my own foolishness" Ensu bowed once again to show reverence to the man he had intruded upon. He then bowed in submission, this was risking his life but he had something greater in mind. "Zacara-Sama, by any chance could you teach me anything? History, poetry, song, stories, techniques, strategy, survival tactics, social skills...what ever wisdom you have I wish to know so that I can bring it back to my family as we are one's who seek knowledge and wisdom above all other things" Ensu then looked up at the man and still held his whip in case he was attacked but he was lighter on the grip because he felt a bit safer at the moment. That was do to him being naive like sweet chocolate but he was unaware of that.

Zacara sighed as Ensu bowed. "There is no need for that, pick your self up....." He paused for a moment and made a quick motion with his hand, returning Teiken to it's sheath which rested on his forearm. The blade seemed to resist this action but complied none the less.

"Someone like me has much to teach... but only for those willing to learn."

He shifted his weight again, still trying to find a comfortable possition against the tree. the darkness that the cloud overhead created passed and the wood was once again bathed in semi-light, returning everything to a dark gray hue. the bird that had taken off from his leg circled the tree above him, looking for another spot to roost. He himself found this place peaceful, dispite its grim appearance. the exclusion of other people had its benefits too.

A few seconds after stoping, Zacara began to speak again. "I'm not to fluent in the ways of social life, but i can teach much in the way of of combat and strategy."

Ensu returned himself to his original stance as Zacara had requested, except this time he did not hold onto his weapon. He placed his hands at his side and left them open to show he was relaxed. He didn’t exactly feel relaxed but he was none the less. The only thing that hindered that feeling was the suspense of the moment. "Sensei please teach me all that you are able, for I am willing to learn if you consider me worthy" These words he spoke were ones that were common in his clan and considered proper edict when requesting instruction in any matter from any person. It was strange to him as he wasn’t one for formalities but this was one he was unable to keep himself from practicing. Ensu held a high countenance as he looked on at his new teacher, as he waited patiently for it to begin.

Zacara Grinned under his hood. He noticed that Ensu had released his weapon and thought of it as a perfect way to begin the first lesson. "very well....." Under his cloak, he stealthly made a handseal. As if from nowhere, a wave of wind shot down onto a sizable branch that was just above Ensu, cutting clean through and causing it to fall directly toard the genin.

"First lesson... be prepared for anything."

Upon saying this, he stood up from the branch and jumped high into the air, his cloak streaming behind him. After his descent he landed in a crouching possition on the ground several feet from were he had just been sitting which was about to be crushed by the falling branch. He slowly stood up and looked over his shoulder to see the reaction.

occ; Sorry for taking so long

Ic: Ensu felt the wind pick up but wasnt sure as of why this had happened. Then he heared the sound of a branch cracking or being cut from the tree. He felt that the sound was coming from above him and He did a hand stand going backwards to avoid the oncoming branch. Just as he did the branch fell right in front of him. Ensu then fell backwards to stand up and turned to face his sensei once again. "how was that Zacara-Sensei?" Ensu waited for the cratiquing to being or perhaps the next challenge. He was also wondering how his sensei made the branch fall without using a jutsu. At least Ensu didnt know he had used a jutsu.
