Zacara nodded, seeing a prediced result of his opening test. "your performance is acceptable, not supprising coming from a Genin." At the end of his sentence, he turned around and made a gesture over his shoulder for Ensu to follow. As soon as he began to move, the bird that flew over head started following him, seeming curious. The Shinobi continued until he came upon a small clearing with several broken rocks scattered across the ground. Without turning around, he began speaking to the Genin.

"First up is a bit of hand to hand combat drills..... One can not be taught until the teach knows what he has learned..... I want you to come at me with everything you have so that i can gauge your speed, strength, and stamina. no jutsu and no weapons, now begin."

His back was still to Ensu, giving him a small advantage to work with from the start.

Ensu Followed Closely behind the Jounin. He watched the area around him and observed as much about the Jounins Camp as he possibly could. That way he would have it all memorized and perhaps could learn something else from his Sensei. For Zacara was still unaware that Ensu had a photographic memory and anything he saw was instantly remembered and could be recalled at any point in time. This also applied to smells, Sounds, Textures, and tastes. This sometimes caused a problem as one sensation could bring back several memories that completely flooded the mind of Ensu.

As he came to the clearing he looked it over and was amazed that such a beautiful place could be in the mist of such a "terrifying" Forest that everyone ran from. It was amazing to him, for it seemed that the mist was absent from this area and swirled around and headed towards the big tree in the center.

Ensu Dropped all of his gear in response to what the Jounin had said. If he couldn’t use his weapons or anything other than his taijutsu abilities then he had no need to carry it with him and that reduction of weight would make it easier for the young genin to fight. Ensu Then charged the Jounin. In normal combat a charge wouldn’t work for him, but since his only option was Taijutsu and he had to make the first move he might as well. As he came close he placed his right foot solidly into the ground and then pivoted on his foot so that he could spin his left leg into the side of the Jounin. As that was done the real attack came. Instead of making Contact with the first attack Ensu pulled it back down and used the momentum to pull his right leg up into the air towards the Jounins throat. The idea was for him to knock his sensei to the ground with one blow if he made contact.

Zacara listened as the Genin charged, piecing togather the sounds to picture the attack in his mind. a simple charging attack into a spin kick.... wait.. the sounds of the movement didn't add up to a standard attack so he decided against simply jumping above the blow. He took off from his right foot, keeping his left planted until the last second, propelling him into a single handed handstand while his momentum carried the rest of his body around in a cartwheel like motion and away from the strike.

Before his feet touched the ground, he pushed off from the ground with great force, launching himself roughly 8 feet into the air. He landed just behind Ensu, this time facing him directly, his arms crossed under his cloak.

"An honest try, but you'll need to try again."

Zacara brouht his arms up in a deffensive stance, one of his hands near Onike's sheath out of habit.

Ensu grinned as he watched how his Sensei avoided his attack. Against anyone else he would have landed that blow but he evaded it like it was nothing. Ensu took pride in his own evasion skills but what he just witnessed was out of his reach. He wished to obtain such a level and now overcome with passion for the lesson at hand.

Ensu heard the words and didn’t take time to listen to the whole sentence as he couldn’t waist time against an opponent in combat. He felt the man behind him and heard his landing. In turn Ensu Performed a spinning side kick to the man going from his left side to his right. Most people were right hand dominate and so their attacks were used accordingly. Ensu knew this and had trained himself to use both sides equally so he could attack with the same strength from any direction.

OOC: if this went on like it is supposed to, we would be in this topic for a very long time, i propose that we have a bit of a time skip after your next post.

IC:
Zacara appeared to stand completely still as the attack came at him. When the hit actually connected however, a metalic ping rang out as Ensu hit the armored weight on his leg, which was sure to cause the Genin great pain. Without hessitation, The ANBU's arm shot out from under his cloak dirrectly toward Ensu's stomach.

Without pause, he backflipped twice, forcing himself high into the air the second time so that he could land on top of a large rock that rose several feet into the air. "if you need, you may use your weapons now." The Genin was currently doing above average for a shinobi of his level, but his true judgement waited to see if Ensu had any great flaws.

Ic: Ensu Felt his attack connect and then regret it. He felt his shin swell from the pain. His temperature and blood pressure rose rapidly and his breath was shortened in that instant. He then saw the incoming blow and was stunned from the last mistake. He took the shot directly in his stomach and fell backwards where he gasped for air. "he....he...he" He slowly rose from the ground and picked up his elemental chain whip and his ouch of Kunai. Ensu then smiled as he knew his true skills were about to be shown. Ensu was fast, agile, and had great stamina along with precision with projectiles. While his weakness of endurance was just exposed. He was going to make up for that now.

Ensu knew he would be slowed down for a few moments until the pain removed its self. To begin He tossed three kunai at the Jounin and then moved forward with a short sprint and then he spun on his right leg and whipped his weapon around. in that instant the first two links of Shuriken released and flew towards the Jounin.

With a fast and liquid movement, Zacara made a short jump into the air, making a quick spin to knock away the first projectiles with his armor which then bounced away onto the ground. With out touching the ground, he then landed softly to the side of Ensu and took off one of his legs into another flip, during which he thrust his palm forward at the genin, hoping to offset his ballance and distrupt his attack before it was finished.

He landed on his feet and skid a few feet across the dirt before turning back. "strike again."

This action continued for several hours, until the Genin's energy drained away and his movements began to slow to a standstill.

Zacara stood atop another of the boulders in the center of a battered ground, having let the Shinobi use jutsu a long time ago. He was completely still as he awaited the possible end of his test.

Ensu breathed heavy as he was barely able to stay atop of his feet. His body was battered and he was covered in wounds from their battle. It left Him feeling shamed and humbled before his sensei. For he saw with his own eyes the difference between himself and his master. He realized that He put everything he had into the test and still His sensei was able to beat him without breaking a sweat or relying on jutsu’s while Ensu had to the entire time just to survive against his opponent and teacher. "I'm ready for more sensei" Ensu said this but his voice was weak from exhaustion. He had high stamina but his ability to stand against the many wounds he had was something he could barely stand.

Zacara shook his head. "If you are so willing to take more punishment then i can only offer one last strike." With that he raised his hand toward Ensu and made a handseal with under his cloak with his free hand. A blast of blunt wind errupted forth from his hand and raced toward the Genin. If he was even glanced by the fit, it would send him flying and inevitibly end his struggle.

He looked at the Shinobi's determination with a grin that was cloaked by the shadow of his hood. He had long since decided that he would teach Ensu, but he was curious to see just how long he could last before he snapped.

occ: Its ok...I'm going to have to switch to 1st person right now sorry

I was trembling from my pain, It was so strong and intense I could hardly find the strength to stand, much less keep the words that I had just spoke to Zacara. What a powerful strength that person has within himself. Its unlike anything I've ever encountered. I would have to admit he is stronger than anyone in my clan. How can I do anything but long to learn everything he has when he is so much stronger than my previous instructors. I felt like breaking as he spoke to me. The thought of being hit again was more than I could bare and then it happened.

I feel myself falling backwards and sliding against the ground. My chest feels like its going to cave in and I'm unable to save myself. My body feels obliterated but my spirit urges me to go on. Finally I stop moving and I feel more of my skin being torn and my blood running out from those wounds. I blink and feel like I'm drifting off to sleep, but then I'm unable to. I stay still, just watching him as I some how remain conscious.
