Chapter III: Part 1. Return of the Mist

Zieg

Now that everything has finally began to settle between Konohagakure, and Otogakure. Otogakure has returned to their homeland, and begins recuperation, while Konohagakure begins to rebuild itself to its former glory. It would appear the Otokage wasn't at all read for what was to come form Konoha. Their complete destruction was almost complete, but the Otokage Itichi, Zieg had fallen victim to an unknown affliction. An experiment he had been working on.

Now that the war is over everything is at peace, except for one. A Konoha spy, adopted son of the great Hatake Kakashi, Eric, Hatake had returned to the Sound village, to obtain power from Zieg. Zieg trusted and passed on to Eric the cursed Chidori, technique originated from Kakashi, and mastered by Zieg and Kakashi. The Konoha spy had plans to return to Konoha, when he gained a interment relationship with Zieg's younger sister, Itichi, Reileyn. The two, whom now found a love within each other fled to Konoha.

The Otokage would to stand for this. He sent his powerful shinobi to retrieve Eric, and Reileyn, dad or alive. By trapping Eric, Reileyn, and another within a trap Reileyn agreed to return, on behalf of Eric's safety. The jounin agreed, and returned to Otogakure, along with Reileyn. The merciful kage decided to forgive Reileyn's betrayal, and accepted her as a Oto shinobi once more, however a new motive was set for Zieg. The destruction of Hatake, Eric.

With that plan set Zieg had prepared his squadron, when a unknown shinobi from Kirigakure had decided to go to Otogakure, and stir up trouble. He killed several shinobi, and severely injured another. One of Zieg's most trusted shinobi. With the help of Zieg's most powerful medical nin the shinobi survived.

During the battle another decided to make an appearance. A shinobi whom left Otogakure, but soon returned. Hirokimi, Everwill. A descendant from a most powerful clan in Oto. Upon further inspection the attacking shinobi was of the Mai clan. A clan which specialized in genjutsu. The same thing the Otokage practices in. Mai, Lava. A loyal shinobi of the late Mizukage, that Zieg assassinated.

Now Zieg is pulling in shinobi from everywhere he can. The same as Hatake, Eric. In an attempt to fool Zieg he pronounced himself dead, and had a Konoha shinobi spread word. With his death now known of he himself are pulling in shinobi to help him with his mission. As for the otokage he is preparing his final assault. This time not on a village. He is pin pointing several specific shinobi. With information on them all he now begins to plot, and create plans for his targets. And what of Kirigakure? Are they planning to turn face to Otogakure? Will Konoha, or Sunagakure help assist them? Now a new village is making an appearance, one said to be as great as Konoha itself.

With all these new threats and enemies it seems the Otokage will now have the battle of his life. Will he survive? What of Eric's motives? What will the Kirigakure assassin do now that he has sent Zieg a message of revenge?
