Minato was tired of traveling for days on end, this must have been the worst ever escort he had to do, but at least the views were nice now and then. It has been 4 days since they left otogakure and crossed many lands before reaching the land of waves. it was a quiet place or so it seemed. Minato was getting an itch on his hands, something was about to go down. Minato looked from right to left cautiously, there was someone around yet he could not sense them until now. Not now, I am tired and exhausted I have just been on a ferry and crossed to the land of waves, just my luck. Kid protect the girl I think we are in for an ambush let me handle everything else, or you might get hurt badly. Said Minato cooly looking at the chick as if trying to impress her.

Bakura had nearly reached his limit with this jounin. Four days of his constant recklessness and ignorance. At least it was almost over; it would only be another day's travel to their home on the island. They were in a small wooded area when Minato began to act differently. Bakura himself had not the warrior sense but he did have the logic to know that this would be the best area to attack them before reaching their destination. It was silent, hard to see through the thick vegetation, and nobody would come upon their bodies for days.

He stopped walking and pretended not to hear Minato. This was the time for traps and subterfudge. " I don't think so," He said gleefully. " I doubt anyone would attack us here. We're already on the island." Hopefully Minato would see through this acting but with his luck he wouldn't.

He walked over to a tree and discreetly reached into his jacket. After a few moments of pretending to go to the bathroom, he walked back to the group. He moved close to Minato and said, " I've got a secret to tell you." He kept his voice playful to avoid suspicion. He whispered into his ear, " We have to stand here. We'll keep the package here as well; I have a plan for protecting her. Deal with the higher level mercs and I'll deal with the dredges."

He stepped back and wandered over to another tree. He had purposely moved in front of this tree; it was vital that he stood here when the fighting began. His main strategy, secondary strategy, and third strategy had been set up. Now all he had to do was wait and let his plan follow through.

Kid this is not the time to be stupid get ready for a dam fight not the child one where you actually survive this will kill you if you do not do as I say, now you think that I am stupid but I am much smarter than you, those traps you are trying to lay not going to work. I should have left you behind the second I saw your arrogance, although not knowing is bliss trust me this time it is bliss of every second. A kunai zoomed through the air and it was about to reach the girl Minato jumped and cautiously took it Next time don't try your own plan and stick with mine. How trouble some you are Mokuton: Konoha Shuriken Minato said at the same time he was talking with the kid, the Shuriken zoomed towards the last known hit point although it was just for unmasking the fools.

" Your plan might work, but I prefer to be sure that there is no chance of failure," He said. This man was obviously smarter than he had once perceived. Reading people was not Bakura's strong point. However his traps were. Minato had destroyed his first strategy, so it was on to the second strategy.

He shot three shuriken at three unseen opponents, based on the kunai thrown by his associate. A man appeared behind him suddenly, holding a knife to his neck. Bakura merely smiled. He was fast but his reflexes wouldn't save him from his attack. The trap behind him released, sending a spray of senbon. The man easily dodged the attack, and still managed to drop down and keep a vice grip on the child. He just kept smiling and used his body as the perfect shield. At the last moment his hands finished the jutsu, and a log appeared where he once stood. The man's sight was now full of senbon. He moved swiftly and dodged most of the needles, but a few managed to pierce his skin. He fell to the ground, shaking uncontrollably. Bakura stood over him and shook his head. " Don't mess with the Trap Master."

He turned back to Minato and yelled out, " Should I kill him?"

Minato looked at the person who was shaking. Fool He is Shaking out of excitement I will finish this once and for all Doryuudan no Jutsu." That should calm him down a bit Minato aimed at the fool who was trying to attack him, the fool fell helplessly and was in need of dire help, he died quickly. He looked back at the kid who was parading around like a fool. He could feel more people coming it was not good, not good at all. There are more do not think that this is the last, this was only a goon I feel someone with stronger chakra coming our way, maybe a shinobi.He looked towards the small genin, well then so called "trap master" put your traps and make it quick they are coming our way fast. Though he wonder why they would come after this girl even though she is something. Minato looked livid and decided to put a few jutsu of his own.Doryū Taiga,Doryuudan no Jutsu Minato said simultaneously quickly and fast.

" The traps have already been set." He said. His man was not what he had expected; he was a control freak and much more arrogant than Bakura himself. He sighed deeply but decided to bear with it. Maybe in time he will learn the concept of working as a team, or at least working as two individuals without bothering one another.

" Aya, get over here," He said, motioning for her to stand next to him. " Stand right... here." He positioned her and moved off to the side. Every step he took was perfectly in tune with his strategy. One of the definitive aspects of all of them was that they all demanded perfection. A single misstep on his part threw it all off. He grinned brightly; he always loved the challenge of a good strategy.

Minato looked quickly from right to left 2 shinobi were coming Minato looked at them used shushin, although they seemed old they were quite young as shinobi. Minato used Isshi Resshin on one of them and he died instantly although he did try to move Minato changed his course and attacked him. Last there was this other guy who seemed scared as Minato approched him, Minato was walking this time and he did not fear him for he was angry. The guy seemed to be running away from him but Minato did not fear, Oto Shushin Minato was moving at a faster speed and he caught up to him. Minato used his 3 Swords took them out and with all his force put it in his swords and used it to kill the last person. Lets go We don't have enough time for quicker travel I will use him.Summoning Jutsu Manda came and he looked a bit pissed off because where he was standing, although he gave the kid alittle credit for having the guts to show himself from the last time. Manda help me get to that village there, or else I will cut your throat Minato had to be precise on being mean to Manda or else he might kill him. Both the trap master and the girl got aboard and it seemed that It was the end, although there came another ninja that looked like a Genin, but Minato had not mercy for him. Poison Swamp Manda said in agreement, The genin fell in and died because of it being fatal. Minato was almost there and they had done it the mission was over and he could almost feel the great anticipation of going back home all was well and it ended nicely. Manda went back into his place and then Minato and Trap master began to walk back home, You know kid, I am actually starting to like you.
