When the humans and shadows meet, only the Potential may win. After a few years of the Dark Hour being gone, the shadows had found a way to bring it back. But they did not perfect it. All humans were aware of it. And that meant that people would fall victim to Apenthy Syndrome again. This is caused by attacks from shadows.
The shadows had forgotten one little detail besides that. They forgot that that meant more would awaken to the potential. The potential is another term for the ability to use persona. Persona's are second souls in certain people that are invoked by a sudden electric pulse and are only visible during the Dark Hour and have no power without the Dark Hour. These shocks are invoked by devices that look like pistols.
The shadows have created a dark hour that could kill all shadows or lead them to their goal of world domination. This double edged sword is the key to the Persona. Let none stand in our way men! To battle!
