And then one day I will die, leaving her broken for the rest of her eternal life. Would you want that for someone you loved? Hey, I'm right here. Don't talk about me as if I wasn't, - said Rera smiling, trying to switch the subject of her lover's mortality. Try to understand, Rose, this isn't as simple as accepting it or not. He will not be happy unless you are, so even if you selflessly choose to be with him he will still suffer, but it is in no way your fault. There is nothing you can actually do to make it better for him. The best decision is, no matter how cheesy it sounds, to follow your heart. Silence once again revisited the room, but it did not hold for long. We can begin as soon as you feel like it. Of course, we'd have to look for a suitable area first...

Saya had heard her mother's words, and knew about the words all too well. She tried to follow her heart various times, and ecah time caused her to make a wrong decision. Saya smiled at the thought, "Follow my heart...? It seems everytime I do that, I make the wrong decision. I followed my heart to find you, and I ended up trying to seduce Ukyo into taking me to you. I tried to follow my heart, and instead of finding the answer that we both want, I find the answer is that I should be even more afraid of commitment. I.." Saya paused and picked at her rice. Even though she was not speaking, the look of self-disappointment was evident, "I can't trust my heart, because my heart is so confusing, even for the woman who owns the heart, she can not even begin to realize just what it is her heart wants."

Saya placed her chopsticks together and on top of her bowl. She stood up and walked over to her sitting mother. Saya leaned down and wrapped her arms around her mother's shoulder, pulling her closer and placed her lips against her mother's cheek, "I am ready to begin my training mother...I will come back whenever I can, and whenever I am truly stronger." She smiled and looked at her father before walking to the door of the kitchen. She placed a delicate hand on the wooden siding and spoke to her father, "I want to leave as quickly as possible. If you wish to eat in the mean time, I will train for a few hours and then bath before we can leave." Saya left, leaving her parents alone. They probably needed the time alone, for both mind and body purposes.

Rera chuckled slightly when Saya said that her heart is confusing. Well, there can only be two reasons it is that way, and they're connected. First, you are mistaking your heart with your mind. And second, you do not know how to listen to your heart, so what you hear is only partially what your heart tells you, and partially what your mind does. And minds do have a tendency to be confusing. Once her daughter left the room, the vampiress sighed. It was hard accepting all that has happened, and harder still because both her children were already adults. She knew from the beginning that they will leave her sometime, but she never expected to be stripped of her time with them because of her inner demon.

So, where do you plan on taking this? Well, I was thinking of staying around- Frederick, please. We both know that wouldn't be possible. This area is too densely populated, and has no places you could use for training. I remember how destructive you were in the past, and I can only assume it's gotten worse. Ah, why do you have to be so insightful? Alright, I've been planning on taking her to the wastelands of Earth Country. It has plenty of room, and- You're still planning to do that? I never gave up on my plans, Rera. It's just that after... well, my priorities have been very different for the past nineteen years. But now... I see. I will help. Without vast financial support, your endeavor would be futile. And it was our shared dream, too. A world without wars... Unfortunately, we'll have to start a war for this world to exist.

They did not need to say more. They talked about this a lot back before their lives fell apart. Both knew it would be a very hard goal to achieve, but both were sure it was worth it. Alright, then I guess we should both start packing. Both? Of course. There is no way I am letting you, or Rose, go without me. I... the past nineteen years were not exactly non-existent to me. It was like a dream, which only had complete darkness in it. And it would not end... - she said as she got up from the table. She wasn't going to bother cleaning up - a maid would come in a couple of days to clean up, just like always. Rera... but- Shh! She quickly walked over to him and sat in his lap before he could get up. No objections, - she whispered to him. This is unfair. You know I can't say no, - he said, smiling. It's a woman's privilege, - replied the vampiress. Then they both left the kitchen, Sol carrying Rera bridal style.

Just a little past noon, both were ready to leave. Rera packed a bunch of clothes and other things for herself and Saya, while Sol barely had anything, beside her two large bags. This is gonna be just like old times, living on the move and all that. Yeah, except back then we didn't have any bags and a house we were planning to go to. Well, you have to agree, having a final destination is better than not having one. Maybe. Anyway, let's go.

Saya had walked behind their hearing and gave a large exhale as they conversed. She had wanted to get out such an environment for such a long time now that when she was gone, she barely even thought about what they would do together. Now she could not get the thoughts of her mind. Her mother recognized Sol, her father, so she loved him almost unconditionally. After all those years they deserved that time alone. If not to get to know each other once more. Saya placed her hand at her mouth and coughed, stopping her own thoughts. She looked towards a door that lead to outside and immediately took. She did not belong in that kind of atmosphere.

On the outside, she stopped and smiled a little looked back inside. She did not need her parents worrying about someone else being in the house with them. It would probably be better if she really did go train so that she could vent some her bent up energy. The battle hours before had drained her of most of her energy. But all of her speaking with her mother made her body tingle with a renewed vigor and she had to train lightly for a few hours. She was highly determined on giving them privacy, and if she was away training and afterwards taking a long bath, then she could let them be alone for the time that they needed to be.

Saya placed the sole of her high heeled sandals on the front of the steps leading out from the front door and placed some of her weight on her leg and pushed off. With that single leap she jumped high enough into the air that she landed on a tall tree branch. She paused to look back at the massive mansion. She blinked rapidly and smirked at herself, "If I somehow get lost after my training and I can't find a monstrosity such as that...I am rather pitiful." She turned and pushed away once more, her eyesight making it easier for her to discern everything in the forest.

For a few hours, Saya trained with her sword and style. She dared not to try anything too extensive because she still needed the strength to properly travel and when she felt a little tired from a normal exercise, Saya stopped and made her way to a nearbye spring, and cleansed away. By that time it was in the early morning and the bath had a few people there, but since they were all women, she had no problem disrobing and washing herself off. Without incident, she got out of the bath and placed her clothing back on and pulled her heels back onto her feet.

As Saya walked from the bath house to the road, she walked past a bar, a man called out for her attention. Saya gave no heed to the man and kept walking, keeping her attention on the road, but keeping her senses aware for the man. As she suspected, she felt his presence following her, and as it would appear that he tried to slap her on the bottom. As his hand came towards her, and only until the last second that she could move, she was gone from his sight. A look of confusion crossed his brow at the mysteriously disappearing girl.

Saya watched the man from on top of the bar he had come from and shook her head. It was not worth it to beat on a drunken man who was only boldened by the alcohol on his breath. Her raven black hair blew in the gently breeze coming from the ocean. As a few strands of hair blew in front of her face, she picked her hand up and moved her hair behind her ear where it would not affect her vision. It was almost mid-day now, and Saya was certain that by this time her parents would be finished and her father ready to travel. Saya once more disappeared from on top of the roof and made her way from the rooftops towards her mother's mansion.

As Saya approached, she felt her mother and father's presence close together, and when she made her way to the front door and walked in, her mother was standing with her father and she stared confused, but at the same with great relief, "Mother you are coming with us?" She did not even need to have such a question answered because she could tell by how her mother packed that she was. Her father had no choice but to accept Rera coming, and so Saya could not refuse her either. Besides, she was her daughter and had no real authority over her mother who had a higher status. She smiled and looked at her face, "I am ready when you are father...mother."
