OOT: Hi Mods/Admin! Kindly review this one before passing judgement. As I understood from the rules I had read so far, I should be making a genin of class E at creation but I already had this character made beforehand and I do want to roleplay him as jounin straight after approval to avoid destroying the story I had made for him.
Hopefully I can get your approval and help to start this character up so that I can play him at my best. I also have a custom sword for him but before I post that one up for registration, I'd like to know if I have a chance on this being approved. In case you guys do not approve of this even after reading the character profile please let me know before junking this. My best to you guys and thanks!
Hair: Dark Red, shoulder length when tamed down
Eyes: Yellow pupils with black iris
Body: Tanned complexion with a slim built. His muscles though were still noticeable despite his slim frame.
Ethinicity: Sand Village
Physical Description
Crowned with blood-red mane, messily swept back and pointing in all directions; Ijin Hitogoroshi looked menacing enough. However, his facial structure looked gentle. Both his jaw line and high cheek bones were softly defined and not too burly which made him look intriguingly and strangely handsome to most. The red-colored eyebrows complimented the thick, black eyelashes which adorned his eyes perfectly.
Having red, full lips; his smile can disarm anyone in a way both good and bad. Disregarding the circumstance, his smile was a beautiful sight to behold. However given his other features, rarely did one took his attractive smile as a good sign. For them, that smile always had something dark hidden behind it. A mischievous mockery of happiness and an indication of devil’s work in play.
It was unbelievable that such eyes were owned by a guy born in a loving and kind family. Death, hatred, lust, no; his eyes spoke of something more sinister that one cannot fathom. It was hard to understand what his stare meant; it just delves deeper in you which seemed to search for something that would bring fear and torture. Those pair of yellow pupils and black iris even looked graver due to the small slits of his devilish eyes. It was a set of eyes that could bring chills to anyone those eyes stared upon.
Beautifully built and not too muscular; he could trick those who were unaware. Clothed in tight fitting garments, he could pass off as female as his body looked slender and slim with his lady-like hips and waist. In addition, his tanned, unblemished and smooth complexion accented the deceptive statistics. Unclothed though, one would see his muscles nicely carved into his upper body and long legs. His long candle-like fingers made his hand looked that of a girl’s but his grasp was strong and firm. It was incredible that that much power was contained in such lovely body.
His posture whenever he sat and stood was always poised. There always was an air of elegance in him that, in a way, was very unsettling. Sophistication went as far to his traits and accent as he has neither audible inflection nor a mannerism that show everyday. No matter how hard one would try, external imperfection could not be found in him. It was said that he was the present day Adonis who was twisted by a reason that could not be brought into being.
Clothing
It was unbelievable how Hitogoroshi bear the clothes he wore. Given his brutal and wicked personality, one would not even think that a guy like him would wear garments that made him look cutely as a girl. Maybe it was his way to make people more wary or scared of him, or may be it was one of his loony antics and crazy fetish.
His upper garment was a sleeveless Chinese-esque turtle neck female wear that was adorned by abstract designs of waves in blue and pink. This tight fitting top piece of clothing was buttoned on the front but has an opening that revealed the mid section of his collar bone. There also was a long lacy strand of cloth at the lower back portion of the attire which Hitogoroshi knotted into a tight ribbon that accented his ‘feminine’ body statistics.
Hitogoroshi’s lower garment on the hand was a blue Japanese hakama which pants were cut off on the lower portion for some unknown reason. The hakama comfortably hugged his buttocks tightly but was loose on the legs that made him move easier since the pants did not hinder his movement at all. The slant cut made on both pants of the hakama had the following effect: the length of the pants was four inch longer below the knees on the front and seven inches long at the back.
The only accessories, as Hitogoroshi calls them, that he wore was his kits for inventory and medical supplies as well as his ’forehead’ protector. The kits were hidden behind the ribbon of his upper garment and the ninja protector was tied on the ribbon that made it dangle behind him.
Another peculiar thing about Hitogoroshi was that he prefers wearing four-inch clogs for footwear.
Personality:
Really, Ijin Hitogoroshi was far from a book that was easily unraveled by reading. More over, he was best compared to a lock that has no key as he was too hard to comprehend. People who knew him have different thoughts, so none was sure which was real. The only thing that people were sure of was that he adored fighting to the extent that he was addicted to it greatly. It was rumored that either he was a reincarnate of the devil himself or he joined a sect of the fiend because of the gruesome way he fought with his adversaries.
Those who were not acquainted with him said: ‘Ijin Hitogoroshi liked it bloody. To him, slicing up opponents spilling guts were like sweet pastries and the blood was wine. It excited him, he adored it. Never should he be trusted. Time would come that he would betray everyone near him as he is the devil himself.
Murder was the only thing that his eyes understood. The killing intent on those eyes were similar to a hungry beast in the wild. His smile never meant the same happiness that people with a right mind would think off and only connoted his warped thought of a blood-bath.’
These judgments though were slightly frowned upon by those who knew him personally and were acquainted with him for a long time. ‘He may look mean but he always cared about the village and the citizens around him. Rest assured, he is a man you could depend on to protect everything dear to him. Never did he harm people weaker than him unless needed nor did he injure defenseless animals. Only because he looked fierce did people misunderstand him. Admittedly though, his mood swings always made people uneasy. In addition, his quiet nature and fiendish smile add up to the tension that was always there when he was around.
It remains a mystery though why he loved fighting above all. Also, his beliefs were not the normal ones you’d hear. Somehow, it’s like he wanted to live his life in a very disturbing way.’
Whatever the truth in his persona was, you could never tell. It would be better to listen to him instead during his occasional ’happy’ times for nothing could be more truthful than the words spoken by a drunken man in his blissful state. So get ready and arm yourself, for it is only in battle would you hear truth spilling out his mouth.

Background: Biography Chapter One: History of the Devil’s Origin
Ijin Hitsugaya was a man of great talent with the sword. It was said that swords were made just for him as he was one swordsman in Sunagakure who quickly went up the ranks of best swordsmen. He learned lots of sword techniques and mastered most of them. However, granted that he was trained only as a normal swordsman, he did not have the perks of controlling chakra perfectly. Hell, he either leaked out lots of it when he tried or he used too few. Rarely did he got it right, and that was out of sheer luck.
Feudal Lords paid high for body guards but since hiring shinobis was lavish, as they were the top notch and highly paid military personnel of the country, most would go for the regular masters of any given disciplines. Among Hitsugaya’s batch, he was one of the best choices that the Wind Country’s Feudal had picked though to his dismay he was deployed at the castle’s kitchen. Crazy as it sounded; he was the cook and helper’s personal body guard. Laughed at by his fellow guard companions, never did they knew that even in his given task attacks were very common. He always had to be on the look out whenever he and the helpers were out on the field. Apparently, some citizens were not delighted by the feudal’s reign and attempted to show it by attacking the castle staff. Their attackers had various skills and strengths and as time went by, the opponents became stronger as he became more and more recognized. It was during one of those foolish attempts that Hitsugaya met his future wife Saya, a failed Sand shinobi.
Haruka Saya used to be a shinobi for the sand. She was a former kunoichi that was comparable to a flower of radiant beauty yet was tainted by a repulsive environment. Her thoughts were clouded by a past she had not played in but that same reason she applied for the SUNA’s roster.
Never did she became a jounin, and only slight did she became stronger. It was evident that this impulsive beauty was not meant to fight or at least be a kunoichi that she was. Though the lust to kill was evident in her assault, it was weak and vaguely polished. Her slashes were just like tantrums of a child compared to a swordsman as accomplished as Hitsugaya hence he did not bother her much. These impudent displays of unwillingness did not deter her though from attacking and she kept on trying. Time went by that Saya seemed to exert all her efforts to attack only Hitsugaya and did not mind attacking anybody else like before.
These brash actions and unbreakable will intrigued Hitsugaya greatly and he inquired the castle staffs who she is and what made her act so recklessly. Obviously, there was a grudge that motivated her from attacking but what that was no one would answer. Hitsugaya decided to investigate on his own until it led him to the root of the kunoichi’s wrath: Saya’s deceased mom, a former maid in the palace, was molested and abused by the castle’s staff.
In a sudden twist of events, Histugaya left the castle in search of this kunoichi and hoped that he could remove this angst that was consuming her. He promised himself that he would be taking this burdened lady under his wings to protect and swore never to use his sword and the techniques he knew as they were already blemished by protecting a castle who kept such hideous past.
Chapter Two: When the Devil was Born
It was never a mystery how Hitsugaya and Saya fell deeply in love with each other. Seeing each other and being together a lot, it was imminent that they felt something deeper for one another despite the fact that they first met as adversaries. Hitsugaya was a guy that Saya could not resist being angry at. She could not blame him for protecting a castle that hid its secrets behind those protected walls pretty well. Also for that same reason, coupled by her love for Hitsugaya, she came to forgive the people behind those walls. Their relationship was not perfect but it was still a joyous communion of two very different personas.
Settled down peacefully in Suna, Hitsugaya kept his promise and worked as a blacksmith. He made kunais for shinobis as well as the occasional blades, chains and blunt weapons. The swords he made were almost topnotch as those blades felt as if they have souls. Only a man who knew sword by heart could make such wonderful masterpieces. He put his heart into each sword he created and hoped that one day his son would carry on his name as a great and dignified swordsman using a sword he personally made.
Two years later, Saya, bore a bubbly child and named him Hitogoroshi (murderer). People wondered why a child was given such a morbid name but an explanation was not made public by both parents. Regardless, that was a name that exuded a dominant aura of strength and fright. So disturbing and unworldly his name was that Hitogoroshi rarely had the perk of childish pleasures.
Most of the time, kids of his age scuttle at the site of him. Mocking him, intimidating him, making fun of him because of a name that he did not chose. One may think he never had a friend, but truth was he used to had some, or at least wanted, but he did not care. For as frequently he was teased the less and less he cared. Little by little, he detached himself to the cruel society that judged people by their flaws. Little by little, his innocence wandered off and closer came the devil that he was starting to be renowned.
Time came that the only people who remembered his cute and naïve side was his parents. No one else remembered the kid who was laughed at, left alone, and who amused himself silently with his fake wooden swords and imaginary friends.
What they remembered though was a kid, who started having keen interest in cleavers and blades at a young age. A child whose play things were senbons and glass shards wrapped in cloth.
Chapter Three: Playing it Rough
‘A thing of exquisite beauty, a replica of a man’s strong desire and elegance. Nothing else could be more truthful than these blades that harness a man’s pride and bravado. This soulful edge existed to show what his master, no. What his body can do and bring him to greater glory and ecstasy.
Every man should look for glory hence I will complete my pride and body. I will have my sword recognized by everyone. Only through my bare hands and thy graceful blade shall I be a wonder of superb splendor and strength!’
These words were spoken by the little red-headed angel as he pushed himself out of heaven that made him closer to a fiend that he was cruelly blamed. That day, in his small, frail hands, he first held a blade of cold steel bigger than his lithe frame. There on a mask had started to cloak his character inch by inch and morphed him into an embodiment of indescribable dread.
Changed; kids still scanter away at the site of him but now they ran away because of a different motive. They used to ridicule this ‘murderer’ but now they cower from his gaze. Only a few people his age was able to with stand his covetous stare. Admittedly, Hitogoroshi loved the terror he saw in their eyes. He adored how emotions filled their eyes as they saw him coming. The laughter thrown at him before was gone. Now only he could smile whenever he met someone.
Wooden swords are for people with a frail heart and weak spirit. That was what eh believed in. He knew his father was good at sword fighting and so he pressured Hitsugaya into teaching him the arts he once knew.
Hitsugaya, glad his son took a liking for swords, taught him swordsmanship. But never did he broke his vow years before. He swore not use his sword nor a technique he once used and so Hitogoroshi was taught by an art he never used. It was perfect as his son quickly learned how to use the sword and followed the lessons quickly. Somehow, Chigatana no Kenbu was too much in synched for Hitogoroshi’s personality and mentality. However, he knew that his son need more than what he was being taught, this lone technique was too reckless and was insufficient for battle in its early stages.
As Hitogoroshi's skills in Chigatana became better, he was able graduate and leave the Academy. He thought his abilities were enough to get him into the SUNA ranks but he couldn’t be more wrong. SUNA wanted more talent from him and despite the fact that he was quite good in his chosen technique; he was told that his slashes were not polished and inconsistent. He could not be considered a swordsman as he was weaker and crude than what an armed genin should have been.
Knowing that Chigatana was originally made to kill the adversary no matter how it was done; the idea of a ‘refined’ art from it was farfetched. Only one thing was clear from this discontentment, he needed to learn more and learn something different. He yearned for a skill that will give him potent strength that could overwhelm his opponents enough for him to strike them down with his blade. Such power was not not easily obtained, especially as young as he was but an answer was given to him by the jounin instructor assigned to their team and it was Onigokko Kenjutsu.
Chapter Four: Team in Distraught
Their team worked well together and each member learned from one another. One member’s flaw was covered by another’s merit and for each merit one possessed the stronger their team became. In this fashion, every member went up the genin rank in a smooth and steady transition. Very well-rounded, they were able to harness their techniques and picked up valuable tips from each other’s skills. Because of this, Hitogoroshi discovered how to use Onigokko Kenjutsu in a very effective manner.
Hitogoroshi was teamed up with an element specialist and a genjutsu user. As he was adept to mid to close ranged armed combat, his tem mates made up for his shortcomings. The elementalist used his wind type techniques from afar to deal heavy damage while the genjutsu was used to disorient their opponents. As Hitogoroshi was already capable of dealing massive damage as well, he developed a curious interest in genjutsu. He knew then that this was what he needed, a skill that controlled the way the other party think or more or less confound them. Definitely this was the power he was craving for, one that would be a dangerous addition to his appalling arsenal of ability.
With the help of his instructor and colleagues, he learned how to manipulate his chakra better. Back then, it never dawned on him that what he thought of as a weak category of skill was the one he would be depending on to obtain supremacy. In each battle they fought, in each mission they completed, he gained more knowledge on how genjutsu should be used. However, just as he started to be very at ease with his new found skill, a horrible incident happened.
Everything looked good at the beginning, the slight cool breeze was soothing and the sky was filled was white fluffy clouds partially covering the sun. Nothing in the weather betrayed what would happen the next few hours. As far as they knew, they’ll be ending this mission without much difficulty. They even joked that their jounin instructor did not need tag along.
It was a simple escort mission as they were told. A caravan of weapons delivered by merchants was targeted by bandits and needed some help. Since these merchants have to bring these goods to a very important customer, they did not settle for anything less and hired shinobis as guards.
Halfway near the clearing point, bandits came and ambushed them. They were in an abandoned city with lots of stone houses weathered down by the harsh desert wind. Bandits attack en masse and it was expected that they were outnumbered by at least five times their head count. The number was impressive but was not enough to stop a team of three genins and a jounin. They were sure that their battle with these low life grunts will be done in a few minutes but they miserably miscalculated the situation. Two members of the opposing force were professional and capable shinobis who were disguised as bandits. As a matter of fact, one was a chuunin and the other, a jounin.
The mission ended in a success but with a very heavy price. His genin companions were killed and only two of them, gravely injured and were in dire need of help, were left to carry on the mission. Few days later, they came back to the village and hear a bad rumor. Hitogoroshi was branded as a traitor who was responsible for the death in their team.
Chapter Five: When Devils Manipulate
The following days became harder for Hitogorishi. Though people were told that the rumor was not true, only a few chose not to believe. Family members of his former team mates made it even harder for people to accept this rumor to be false. He was accused by them, blamed for a sin he did not do. Being judged by the fact that he still has his irremovable fiendish grin. No one thought of him as a person capable of mourning a dead companion. ‘He was born to hurt everyone without doubt nor hesitation. Killing satiates his greed for power; it is his glory that stomps over compassion!’
All these he took in to his heart. He did not need to heed their thoughts of him, what was important was that he was with his friends until their last breath; to himself he proved people wrong that he was not what they thought he was. He may be different from them, his thought may contain something sinister at times but he was not the type that would leave his friends behind… ‘Or am I wrong?’ he sometimes wondered.
During that mission he just did his best, all of them gave their best. Each one supported one another, but at times he doubted himself. ‘Did I protect them? Did I help them? Did I even care what happened to them?’
Chigatana was a technique designed to do what should be done to win no matter what the cost. In this reasoning he became strong in his technique. Recklessly, he threw his sword at their enemies. Adrenaline pumped up; he enjoyed looking at the blood-splattered ground while wreaking havoc through his wild frenzy. By this, he speculated where his mind went during that time. His friends supported him, backed him up and protected him. But did he, a seemingly deranged berserker who threw wild swings and slashes, did the same for them?
‘It did not matter..’ he justified one day, ‘everything was done already.’
His mind flew away, farther than others in his desire to keep relationships away from him as far away as the sun to the earth. Uncontrollably, he practiced his techniques more and more, tried not to think of the past that had clouded his persona in a wicked embrace. Soon he became better, quicker he forgot but still something still tugged him back. Subconsciously he knew he established a special bond with some one though who they were he could not remember. Both faces of his former comrades were covered by a dark shadow and their body inexplicably unseen by thoughts.
Then in less than two years of continuous training and completed missions, he developed himself from a devil’s apprentice to a minion. With skills far better than most of the shinobis in his batch, he was included and promoted to the chuunin roster. This people knew and noticed but they could not accept what the Kages and the lords had decided. For them, they had confirmed a long believed credence, ‘Devils do manipulate.’
Chapter Six: Ominous Advancement
His promotion had changed him to something more surreal. Being a chuunin exposed him to more dangerous missions. Through this his improvement became faster and in a way that was incredible and disturbing. No doubt his bloodlust became more aggressive and his slashes more destructive. In addition, even though his increasing repugnant appetite for death was ‘normal’ and was something that was not too alarming, something deep inside him had changed. It was like his human-reasoning was gone and he changed into an uncontrollable beast.
Needless to say, people became wary of his presence. Fewer people wanted to become acquainted with him and even less were those who wanted to be in a mission with him. The Kazekage had noticed this and no matter what he said, it was though no one even listened to him. The Kazekage knew that Hitogoroshi still clamored for a bond that he lost. Despite the mask that covered Hitogoroshi’s character and his clouded heart, a very faint aura emanated in his devilish grin. It was a suppressed sadness that had, unbelievably, caused him trauma. Without actually knowing Hitogoroshi’s feelings, the Kazekage was correct.
The bloodlust that shone in Hitogoroshi’s amber eyes was actually a façade that had erupted from his last experience. Though Hitogoroshi already forgot where his never ending lust came from, it was his sadness that had changed over the years. It was his loss that fueled him into a coldhearted killer. That feeling had kept him alive and that he used to protect anyone near him. ‘I will be the murderer they wanted if that is the means to keep their memories alive and protecting everyone dear to me.’
In that fashion he grew into what he currently was. The rage and desire for blood since he started was still there but it had changed in to an inexplicably sad, horrible and beautiful history of his struggles over the years. What is ahead of him, no one knows. But now a newly promoted Jounin, people were more bothered now than ever. Whether his promotion was an omen that awaits destruction in the future or not, a new history is yet to unfold.

Quite impressive, but in defiance with a bunch of rules you seem to have actually read (unlike many others; this also gains you brownie points from me ^_^). However, if you want to start at a rank/with jutsus you're not supposed to have at start, you'll have to do one of the following:
1. Buy them (doesn't seem like a possibility?)
2. PM Lavathing9 (head admin) and ask for permission to get these. Just be warned that he doesn't often answer PMs _________________

O_O WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!!! Though most of the time I'll agree with Lava-san's decisions, I'll have to completely disagree with this one!!! NO STARTING OFF AS JOUNIN! The ONLY exceptions to that is if the person hasn't been here for a while, and already had a Jounin, or bought Rank-Ups, and I don't see other one. I'm sorry, but, even though both of you are Admin., I can't allow this. If you make this an exception, then ALL new members that come here are going to want the same thing. _________________ Lammergeier (Pet-Nin) Shigane, Makoto (Kempo Master NPC) Roleplaying Characters: Uchiha, Katsuga Shikami, Aoshi Raptor "Hagetaka", Zetsumei No 4th RPC RPG Stats: Shinobi Rank: Mizukage [SS-Rank]; Genin [E-Rank]; Genin [E-Rank]; Genin [E-Rank] Village: Konoha (originally), now Kiri; Konoha; Konoha; Pet-Nin (Konoha) Training Points: N/A Inventory: 10 Shuriken, 10 Kunai, 10 Senbon, 2 Fumma Shuriken, 5 Windmill Shuriken (small), 10 strands of Chakra Wire, 2 Kodachis (Ranpu and Ankoku) Personal Stats: Forum Credit: 6.5
